if I could give zero stars I would. the fact me and my black spouse were followed around - while also very near the counter and cameras. every person in that store acted as if my wife had the plague. they spoke about in Spanish when we declined a basket as I was in here from tik tok looking for a specific item. I as well as my wife speak Spanish and think it's ridiculous that they are ALL brown people assuming another BROWN/BLACK person isn't a paying customer like everyone else. - came once and never coming back. I absolutely love this store & their huge selection of stuff, I always come here when I need a little retail therapy (which is often). But, as many times as I come here, either by myself or with my sister. there is ALWAYS a girl following us around the store making it so painfully obvious that she's watching us & makes it IMPOSSIBLE to shop comfortably or without feeling like i'm being rushed to leave because of how annoying it is to have her constantly following me/us around. Love this store so much and it's always fun shopping in here and I've been coming here with my friend for a while now (she introduced me to this place). But I recently went in and the whole experience was very uncomfortable. I felt like I was being watched from the moment I stepped in. They had a younger man following me and obviously watching to see if I was shoplifting. It was obvious and uncomfortable. I felt like I couldn't even look and they have so much selection to look at, that's one of the best parts of coming into this store! I have never felt this shopping here before so I really hope it doesn't happen again. I can understand if they have had a frequent activity in theft but I gave them no reason to be "suspicious". I love this place for their jewelry! I am a frequent shopper here and buy about 99% of my earrings from this place. Ever piece of jewelry is $1.00, and a lot of it looks like the stuff from Charlotte Russe and Forever 21. You definitely get good deals here. They also sell make up, make up accessories (brushes, etc), false eyelashes, hair accessories, and piercing jewelry. Those items, though, are priced above $1.00 but still low cost. There's always different girls working when I come here. Majority are nice, but every now and then there will be one who seems a bit rude. I dislike the fact that I will ask something in english and be responded to in spanish no matter how many english words and phrases i've said while in the store. I don't know if it's just me but I barely found out of this place as I was sitting out of my normal go to la girls cosmetic beauty store. This place is 10x better!!! They also carry city colors! I was like a kid in a candy store! They're very helpful as well and they don't watch you like a hawk like some places do thinking you're gonna steal. Will definitely be back for my makeup goods! La girls and city colors are hard to find. I would rather get them in store that way I can swatch the colors. Online pictures are deceiving! Horrible customer service!!! I tried to exchange something because the lids (which had the product color name) were switched off, so I got the wrong color. The lady not only refused to exchange it (although I literally had purchased about 20 min prior) but she called me a liar, and was very disrespectful to me infront of all the other customers in the store. She already had my money so at that point she couldn't care less about being gracious to me as a REPEAT customer. I have never been treated that way by a "business"-store. HER product was labeled incorrectly in HER store which is why I ended up with the wrong product PERIOD. I should have gotten the exchange not to mention the appreciation and respect any CUSTOMER deserves. read more

I'm so sad, I used to come here all the time and get the best makeup on the low. I went in today to pick up an LA Girl concealer and swatched the shade in store. I came home to test it out and I noticed the packaging felt weird.... so, I compared it to my old one (which I bought there) and the packaging was off. I looked it up online and found out they're selling the fake LA girl cosmetics! I wish I could return it, but I've already opened it. They're literally selling FAKE la girl makeup you can buy on Ali express or those other makeup sites from china, which can be dangerous to us. Oh well, now I know for future reference.
