Nice folks. Apparently estimate didn't mean much. I had reduced my 'stuff' a lot post estimate and yet the price was about 15% higher than anticipated. Packers were very efficient and fast however they didn't heed big red signs on cabinets not to pack those contents which needed to stay with the house. Many hassles for me and considerable time waste as former house went on market and I was busy moving into new home. So far, have discovered 1 piece of art with broken glass. Sent in photo as directed. Have now called twice and told they would get back to me but nothing. Not horrible but not a stellar experience either. read more

I just made arrangements for Stronger to move me next week...for the FIFTH time! I could not conceive of using another moving company. They are the most professional moving company on the planet as far as I'm concerned. Most of their movers are family, big big guys. They wrap everything like it was national treasure. A commenter on here mentioned that they stole $300 worth of med cannabis off her kitchen counter. I believe that she was probably high and forgot that she smoked it all. These guys operate with the utmost integrity. And though they charge by the hour, they don't dilly-dally around. 3 of my moves with them didn't take more than a couple hours, one took about 3 hours because it was further away. Whatever you do - do NOT - use this moving company. They lost a bunch of my things - how you ask??? No freaking clue. Pick at up - bring directly there. So - ok. I'll file a claim. Did they ever give me a claim sheet even though I have called emailed at least 5 times? That's a big fat nope! If nothing goes wrong they r fine. I have used the, twice and the first time was better. I noticed the bottoms of my desks were damaged. That's a 4000$ desk. The lost boxes and items - that's another whopping 3500$. So if you're all about losing mass amounts of cash - go for it! My bills are always lower than expected because they are SEVERAL BIG guys and also have strong equipment. I think Rubin is the owner and he gets in there and moves with the rest of the crew when they are on over load. Never used a moving service before with 4 moves under my belt but health ain't what it used to be. They showed up at 9am, evaluated the move and called in extra help and another big truck. They worked until 6pm with only a 30 min break. Everything that needed to be wrapped with moving blankets was. They did a good job moving overall, but they made a mistake putting some of my vinyl furniture next to some burlap furniture in the truck when they moved my furniture from their facility. As a result, the vinyl furniture was shredded, and they refused to respond to my emails requesting renumeration. read more

These guys are miracle workers. I had a big armoire I wanted moved upstairs. The stairs were narrow and winding and the armoire was wide, tall and unwieldy. Plus I cared deeply about not scratching the wood stairs and not creating a dry wall repair for me. They tried 3 ways and it was starting to look like an impossibility because of the wide trim at the top of the armoire. But they realized it they took the armoire up the stairs UP-SIDE- DOWN that the trim would clear at the bottom when it would not clear at the top. I really thought it was a miracle. I couldn't believe they got it up there. They are geniuses when it comes to threading the eye of a needle with a big piece of furniture. Cannot express how happy I am with their work. read more

I don't enjoy giving poor reviews but this one of those situations where everything was going well -- until it wasn't. I don't like when people don't operate with integrity. Ruben and his team was very nice, and seemed professional, and the move was complete. We tipped the guys generously, and when they were about to leave I noticed that the leaf to my $1000 new dining room table was sitting in a corner under a blanket and not where it should be. I undid the wrapping thinking it was just an oversight, intending to put it back with the table. I then noticed that it was damaged during the move. No one had pointed it out to me. I'll give the benefit of the doubt that perhaps it was an oversight but when I called Ruben to discuss this there was no compensation offered. He said a third party will repair and return it to me -- or if they can't they will buy a new leaf from West Elm (I provided the exact model and color, etc). I thought that was a very fair offer. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing I followed up. He claimed the repair wasn't as good as he had hoped and asked for more time. I followed up again after 3 weeks and just asked to bring it back as-is at least for the time being so I could use the table, and he agreed to purchase a replacement. When the original was brought back it was just as damaged as on the move date and no repair was made as claimed. Also, he stopped returning my emails about purchasing a new leaf from West Elm. Totally dropped the ball. Disappointing. read more
