Really disheartening…read more Got my wedding dress steamed and pressed only. My mom picked up the dress yesterday and when she opened the bag at home, she called me crying. The dress has more wrinkles in it than when I dropped it off, they broke my garment bag zipper, and overall the dress is worse than when I initially dropped it off. I immediately drive into town to take a look as I live 2 hours away. My wedding is in just a few days. I call to see if I can speak to a manager and I'm told he won't be in until tomorrow. This morning, I bring in pictures of the dress and ask for my money back. The manager was extremely rude, his employee claims the bag was broke when I dropped it off, and says their work is professionally done. He then says I'm just trying to get my money back and he won't do that. First off, the bag was not broke when I dropped it off. That is when I knew I couldn't trust them. As you said, a garment bag is only $5 so why would you lie about this? You had safety pins to keep the bag closed. What women would drop off her wedding dress in a bag like that? Secondly, you claim these are "minor" issues and that you don't see a problem. You talked down to me. You didn't care your work was not to my satisfaction. I will not bring this dress back since this is the level of care you treated it with the first time around. My father was able to break through to the manager and he finally offers for us to bring the dress back tomorrow for them to fix it (not today, which he said is none of my business as to why they cannot handle this issue today). Keep the money, you'll need it if this is the level of customer service and quality of work you provide. I will gladly take my dress elsewhere and pay a rush fee so you do not touch my dress again.

I was told to put the pants on and flip the light switch to indicate that I was ready. It was 100 degrees that day and I was wearing a light one piece romper (not a top and bottom). I held the heavy pants up from my collarbone to my hip and turned on the switch. This young, heavy, kind of frizzy haired girl came in and goes *gasp* "MA'AM!! This is SO inappropriate, you have no top on! This is a place of business, OMG, OMG!!" I told her if she was that uncomfortable I could just leave. She goes "Nooo?" and proceeds to "OMG" for the duration of pinning the hem. She then asked if I could put the other pants on on top of the romper...I declined. I told her she was going to have a really hard time with her job. She treated a woman who could have been her mother like some kind of flasher/s-x pest!! In a dressing room, adults understand that entails dressing/undressing. This is *OMG* too much for them. This Inappropriate Ma'am will take her business elsewhere.
