They were able to do everything that I expected from my roof nightmare. You would never have known they were there after the job was complete. They didn't leave a trace. Professional in ever manner. Extended Version: For people that like to read Quick and prompt response after initial call to request quote. Phone call until person on site, 3 hours. I spent 4 days calling multiple companies to conduct my personal consciences of total cost. Out of the other companies I called. Davis was the only one to get up on the roof and physically and visionally inspect it. The roof was in total disrepair and had structural damage from neglect, from previous owners. Davis addressed all the issues that I knew there would be, so I was confrontable trusting them with the job. The quote was very reasonable and was subject to change due to the extent of the damage that I knew to be there when the existing roof was to be removed. Once an agreement was reached for the job, work began two business days later. Day one was removal and as expected roof, and structural repairs were needed. Davis took care of all the repairs immediately, as agreed upon. The removal was done swiftly and non-stop. Heavy tarps were placed around the perimeter of the home for anything that may or would have fallen from the removal process that did not fall into the dumpster of the truck. Day 2, Once the roof was repaired and replaced, the new roof was on in hours. Everything was clean looking (Old silicone and metal removed from house and chimney areas) and looked amazing. If not for wood repairs and replacement, the job would have been completed in one day. The next day the seamless gutters were installed, and I came home to the finish job. All equipment and waste were packed up and gone by the end of the second day. Honestly if I had not known a roof was being replaced, I would have never known anyone had been there to begin with. Everyone during the process was straight forward and professional from start to finish. From the initial phone conversation, on-site inspection/quote, job site manager, and explanation of guarantees of future services of job (which I do not feel like I will have to call upon) I highly recommend Davis Roofing Company service for anybody thinking of having a roof replaced, big or small, and any potential shape.

After my first review, I was contacted multiple times by several different people from the business…read moreincluding the owner. I was asked to allow them to make good. Though I hesitated I am a man of second chances. Tim contacted me, wanted me to remind him of the job so he could make sure he was quoting the right thing. I did and he sent me a message quote. I ended up allowing them to the do the work not because they were the cheapest but because of the explanation of what needed to be done and how they would do it. The main issue was that I had some leaks and needed some roof repair. I also asked for some gutter guards as well. I was given a date and they showed up promptly. The main guy on site was great and kept me informed of the process. A second crew came to do the gutter guards and they do did a good job and was very quick also. During the roof repair, as the guys were walking, a couple planks were busted which caused more leaks. There was no way the crew would have known this at the time but when I realized it I called Tim back and he scheduled a time to have the crew return. Again they showed up promptly, repaired those areas and was gone in a very quick time.

I have an old farm house that is always in need of updating. One of the last big items on the list was rebuilding the back porch after old delapadated one was torn out. I contacted several local guys who either were not interested in this small-ish job or were apparently not eager to earn new business. But when I contacted Band Of Brothers, they scheduled a free estimate right away. When one of the owners (Stephen) came out with their estimator (Tim) I was very confident that these were the guys for me! As a single female trying to keep an old farm and farmhouse up, I have to be wary. I immediately felt at ease with Stephen and Tim and decided on the spot to hire them to rebuild the porch. As I stated, it's an old (1949) farm house and things are not always square, plumb or level! Once the work began, Stephen and his crew led by Mario made me feel extremely confident in their work. I am blessed beyond reason by finding them and will hire them for my next big project which will include a patio and 3 season room. I am so very confident in their work that I am writing this review before the porch is finished. I will add finished pictures when the job is complete. The initial planning process and quote were good. They told us it would take 3 - 4 days to complete. They showed up the first day and took out the old screen porch. The next day they were supposed to start installation. The materials never arrived and I was told the Lowe's truck was in accident. It then took another 2 - 3 weeks for them to get the materials delivered, and then they needed more time for another material. They finally began installation. It was evident this crew was not experienced. For example, they put the drink rails on backwards. In addition, there were several areas where they installed materials that were not flush against the house. Note, they did come back and repair those mistakes and communicated that this was a new crew that was not experienced. After about six weeks, it was complete. Not great, but acceptable. Therefore, I paid them in full and they provided a modest 5% discount for my inconvenience. Note, My wife and I were incredibly patient and understanding through the process, never complained and were incredibly flexible, given we have three dogs and it was not easy when workers were on site, may times unexpected. My main issue with this company is after the job was completed. One of the owners, his name was Steven, helped finish the job and addressed our issues. there was some touch up painting that he said he would come back complete. I could have easily held payment until that was complete, but I also understand small companies need to get paid on time and I did not want to hold their payment over painting and I trusted Steven's word he would come back. He never showed. My wife texted and called at least six times and he never responded. While that was frustrating, I can handle doing touch up on my own. The main issue is the attached photos. These are pictures of the posts they installed coming apart, and other areas that are becoming detached. I have sent them two emails in the past two months, the last email with multiple pictures of their work deteriorating. At this point, all I can say is I would hope a company advertising themselves as veteran owned would operate with honor and integrity. that does not seem to be the case for Band of Brothers. I highly recommend anybody considering this company look for other contractors that finish the work complete and with high quality, and are honest operators.

I settled…read moreon the company I had dealt with annually for over a decade thinking our relationship would assure me of a good job. In this world of so many scammers, it is very difficult to find an honest company, let alone one that does excellent work as well. Thanks to the recent historic storms, I developed what I thought were roof leaks. I have since learned that this was caused by ice dams, a very rare event in the south. When I contacted the company that installed my new roof they refused to come out. They said "Let the sun melt it and you'll be fine." So, I thought "They must know what they are talking about." I'm not a roofer and though that didn't fit with my common sense, what could I do? Plus, I had paid for an extra long, extra comprehensive warranty at the time the new roof was installed. I posted about my experience on social media and was contacted by Luke from Old Timers Roofing who advised I should take care of it now to prevent more damage, and that they did that kind of work. I'm always leery of someone who contacts me through social media saying "I can fix that" because you never know if they are the real thing or just someone trying to earn a quick buck who really doesn't have the experience and knowledge. I researched the BBB and several other sources that rated them highly. So I decided to give them a chance. Luke informed me that most warranties would not cover ice damage because it was so rare in the south. Strange that my old company didn't mention that but when I called them back they said Luke was right. Luke referred me to the owner, Josh, who immediately sent out TJ to break up the ice dams. All three assured me my roof would be fine but, if I hadn't cleared the ice dams, I could have had serious damage. I couldn't believe someone would even come out in this weather. I feel much better knowing that as a result of their efforts, I won't have more damage. TJ also recommended I have a water mitigation company check for damage though he thought mine was probably slight. I appreciated that advice as this was all new to me. As someone who is not wealthy, I was very concerned about the cost for Old Timers to break up the ice dams but knew it had to be taken care of to avoid even more expensive repairs down the road. I was stunned when Josh refused payment. My only regret is that I didn't hire them to put on the new roof. I always have my roof inspected three times a year to identify problems before they become serious. Despite having a warranty I will now be using Old Timers Roofing as I have lost confidence in the company who put on my new roof. I had been their customer for over a decade. I highly recommend you contact Old Timers Roofing for any roofing needs. They have shown themselves to truly have "Old Timers" values of honesty, hard work and knowledge.
