Just before dinner at Strummer's, gifted this 2025 Nissan Rogue 2025 to a promising young, black protege, Mason Harding!

The combination pizza was delicious and nutritious. The manager Brian could own the place, but he says the owners are real sweethearts so no need for acquisition yet. . Great music and vibe!

I had never known this place existed if it was not because I won tickets. It was 80's night and we went to enjoy some drinks and the music. We got there around 9:00 pm just in time. There was Not a lot of people yet and we Found a place to sit down. We went and order us some margaritas. They have different drinks with their original name. They have beer and wine as well. We ordered some pizza too to accompany our drinks and not to get to drunk. I don't drink that often but the drinks don't make me drunk. That's a good thing. The DJ was playing music from the 80's. It was nice. There were a lot of young people. They all were having a good time. We were just enjoying the music and having a good time. I don't think I am coming back. But if you like to have a good time and good drinks this is the place for you. I did t see any issues and everyone was so nice. Very nice, and happy ambiance.

Went to Strummers with a group of friends for Gimme Gimme Disco Night. We had purchased our tickets online, and when we got there, entering was smooth, and we received wristbands. I appreciated the security check upon entering, and the security guards throughout were friendly and on too of things. A drink had spilled near the dance floor, and they made sure to quickly grab towels and get it dried up fast. The disco ball, DJ, and vibe from the crowd was great! We stayed for about 2 hours. Bartender was efficient, cordial, and my drinks were tasty! Giving the restroom and little more refreshing and more frequent upkeep could help that final star come to life!

We had an awesome night here at Strummers! I took the kids to see The Aquabats! and it was the best time! Doors opened at 6 and show started at 7. We got there at 6 so it was easy to get in, no line. They have to search everyone of course. If you're not drinking they'll mark your hands with a big X so they don't let you into the bar area. Entry was easy with our tickets. I didn't even have to show them on my phone. They searched my last name and checked us all in. Mobile ticket is the way to go! It's a divey bar/venue/club. They had one room with the band merch and there are a few tables in there. Then there's a bigger room with the stage and bar area. The bar area is fenced off with security checking for a wrist band at the entrance. When the first band started playing some of my kids weren't ready for how loud it was gona be. Then in the nick of time a security came by and gave us ear plugs! That was so rad and we were thankful. During the show the mic kept going out and the musicians were getting frustrated (I think) but I was just happy to be there! Me and the kids (ages 11,10, 8 and 5) had the best night ever! One for the books! If the bats ever come to town again we're for sure gona be back.

I love finding out that my favorite artists are performing here. People love to complain that this venue is small BUT they fail to realize that the conerts are more intimate with a smaller room/crowd. Stage is fairly big. They're not too strict on rules and they have ACs above and around you for when it gets hot from dancing and moshing.

    Ask the Community - Strummer's

    Where do you park?

Hi, there is street parking right in front and on the other side of Fern street. If it's a busy night we usually park on the street in the residential area not too far away, or on the street by the Me N Ed's parking lot area.

Is this 18+ for Tuesday nights?

No it's 21 and over only

This is a nice compliment to both Fulton 55 and Audie's Olympic - two other great small venues in Fresno.

Damn, I gotta say for me, 2025 was a great year for concerts…read more Twenty shows all told, at venues ranging geographically over six thousand miles from Southern and Northern California, to Las Vegas, to Tulsa, Oklahoma and Munich, Germany. It truly was a great year. If you would've asked me on June 1 what was my favorite of the 2025 shows I'd seen I would have said the two Dead & Company concerts I saw at the Las Vegas Sphere. Absolutely incredible shows. But then in October I travelled to Tulsa to see some shows at Cain's Ballroom. I visit Oklahoma every year and I always make it a point to see a show or two at Cain's. This year at Cain's I saw two artists I had never heard of before. The headliner for the two shows I saw was Josh Meloy. He was good, and had a fantastic band behind him. But it was the band opening the show for Josh on the first night that blew me away: Kenny Feidler and the Cowboy Killers. I don't remember the last time I saw a band that I immediately fell in love with so completely. I walked out of that show a changed person. Kenny is a prolific songwriter. He's a former rodeo star and many of his songs reflect that experience. Most commonly Kenny's music is classified as Alt-Country, but I don't actually know what that means. What I do know, though, is rock and roll. And Kenny's band, The Cowboy Killers are a kick ass rock and roll band. First thing I did after seeing him at Cain's was go online to check out Kenny's tour schedule. I was so happy to discover he would be playing some shows in California in December. I had to choose between Costa Mesa and Fresno. Costa Mesa would've been closer but after I checked out the Yelp page for Fulton 55, I instantly knew this would be the place to see a show. And I was right. The venue is a great place to see live music. Security at the door was cool. Inside, the sound was clear and loud, the crowd was chill, and it didn't take forever to get a drink at the bar. Brady Stovall opened the show and I enjoyed his set. I liked how his drummer just used the Cowboy Killer's drummer's kit, so it didn't take long between bands. Kenny Feidler and the boys played a 17 song, 90 minute set that included a blistering, nearly six minute version, of the song Cowboy Killers. Happily, a lot of the songs performed were from Kenny's most recent (2025) release, The Western Tragedy, including Idaho Hippies and The Bronc Fighter. After the show I got the chance to meet Kenny and get a photo. What a great guy! This wasn't the first time Kenny has played a show at 55 Fulton, and inshallah it won't be the last. Whenever that next show happens, for sure I'm gonna be there. Mikey C says: damn right!

"Back in the day," I've come to see a huge variety of shows. I hope they get to that point again with good attendance since this space is pretty large and open. This is a pretty old building pretty much next door to Warnors Theater. It's showing some wear, I felt bad for the old bar top that is really scraped and scuffed (and sticky). but this is still a decent place for shows or to rent for events. It can feel empty if there aren't a lot of people. Our last two visits were to hear music, both times really good - DJ Mr Leonard about a month ago and then The Box playing live with local artists Hope Garcia and Ben Napoles. Both times music was great and I had so much fun dancing .... But there was hardly anyone in attendance! Just crazy. My biggest complaint is that they rarely have any good beers. And the draft beer tastes ... off. The other thing is the drinks are inconsistent. So I stick to simple here; jack and coke, etc. and that's kind of a bummer. *however,* I can get a simple (and large) drink of say, Tanqueray or Courvesior with soda for just $8. I'll take it! Last night they were serving tacos for cheap, which was nice - we bought another round with them so also smart lol. And bartenders have always been friendly, no assholes. Also important, bathrooms have always been clean. Live long and prosper, Frank's Place
