My normal dermatologist said it was a job beyond her abilities and referred me to Dr. Ekstrom at SPS and I am so grateful she did! The doctor spent a long time with me explaining what her plan was and made sure to keep it as cost effective for me as possible (cosmetic procedure so not covered by insurance). The in - office surgical suite was beautiful and the excision took about 30 minutes. Gianna was just as amazing and caring during the procedure as Dr. E! I was very nervous and they really helped calm my nerves. My ear came out amazing! Kerry Ann removed my stitches a week later and helped show me how to help care for the scar. Her personality is so warm and welcoming and she was so funny and had me laughing the whole time, effectively distracting me from the stitches being removed.
