Since October 2019 I had experienced an on-going "red-eye-like" level-10-pain issue of a pyogenic granuloma on my right-hand ring finger. This is a relatively common, reactive proliferation of capillary blood vessels. It presents as a shiny red lump with a raspberry-like or minced meat-like surface that was hanging off my finger. Although they are benign, pyogenic granulomas can cause discomfort and profuse bleeding and I did bleed on and off with much discomfort. I had 3 medical offices visits from November to December 2019 of 2 non-dermatologist doctors and 1 nurse and no one could help me. My wife for life Trish called a few dermatologists after these visits and thankfully she found the right solution as the first solution with Skin Dermatology! With just 2 visits on 2/7/2020 and 2/24/2020 Dr. Lamoureux fixed my finger with no more bleeding and no more pain with a benign lab test. On 2/7/2020 after the 1st procedure, Abby, their medical assistant held on tight to my finger to stop the bleeding for nearly 25 minutes and on 2/24/2020 Dr. Lamoureux's final procedure fixed everything! I had my first follow-up appointment yesterday for my SculpSure treatment at Skin Dermatology with Dr. Lamouruex and the team. We did another round of photos and weighed in and I was not disappointed. There was visible improvements already. It has been ~2 months since my first treatment and I have lost around 4 pounds, my pants size went from 36 to 34, and my pictures are showing improvements. Just to be cleared I kept my same work out regimen and same diet. At my second treatment the team at Skin treated me like an old friend. The check in process is quick and easy and my appointment started right on time. Dr. Lamoureux and her team went through a round of questions about my last treatment and answered all my additional questions about this one. Now that I knew what to expect the treatment seem to go much faster (even thought it was the same amount of time). The time flies in the treatment room. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lamoureux, her staff and her practice. I had been very diligent in getting annual skin checks at a different dermatologist and never once was anything sent for biospy. After bringing my daughters to her for a few skin concerns I decided to schedule a skin check and switch. Dr. Lamoureux was incredibly patient and thorough, she sent some spots off for biopsies and one in fact came back as basal cell. Went to Skin Dermatology for the first time the other day and the place is absolutely spectacular. I use to be in medical sales visiting numerous doctors offices and I have never seen a place like this. It is like the best spa meets a doctors office. I went in for a routine skin check with Dr. Lamoureux and was so impressed by how thorough she is. She biopsied two odd looking moles and gave me the results the very next day. Their pathologists are some of the best in the area. She also checked in with me to see how I was doing after the excision. The office is super clean and chic.
