Well, I finally made it up to Stuarts Draft Antique Mall!! I've been trying to plan a road trip here since September 2021! Here it is, March 2022 but it was worth the wait! Only about 1 1/2 hours from Richmond, you'll find this huge antique mall that's open daily from 10-5, 12-5 on Sundays! It's located in Waynesboro, a hop skip and a jump from Staunton, in the small hamlet of Stuarts Draft which is considered a "census-designated place." Stuarts Draft is a nod to Thomas Stuart, who purchased acreage in the area near the creek/river or "draft." There's not a whole lot to see in this tiny "town" tourist-wise, but the surroundings are gorgeous. Nestled in the Shenandoah Valley of the Appalachian Mountains, this stand alone antique mall is big enough to keep you searching for treasures for hours! A whimsical figure of Betty Boop greets you at the door as you enter this menagerie of goodies from days gone by! We spent a couple hours meandering through each booth, in each room and the mall seemed to have no end to its cavernous halls! Just follow the hand-painted yellow brick road! Every nook and cranny was filled with fine furnishings, pottery, artwork, glassware, dishware, primitive pieces, vintage jewelry, old tools, modern farmhouse items, shabby chics niches, beautiful quilts and crochets table linens, books, retro clothing and accessories, old toys, brassware, wrought iron, kitchen cupboards, lamps, toleware, cookie jars, garden ware, antique suitcases, nostalgic aprons, baskets, wreaths, pewter, and tons more! We scoured each inch of this treasure trove and found some great deals! Some prices were way too high, while others were extremely reasonable. Some of the vendors need to calm down and lower their price point! The ladies working the counter were quite helpful, allowing us to accumulate our finds at their desk. They were eager to take our photo with Betty, and were hospitable and accommodating! There was a nice clean restroom at the very far back of the mall which was convenient. I can't wait to visit Stuarts Draft again! Now onto downtown historic Staunton for lunch!

A lot of vendors and antiques for all collectors. Tons of furniture! Good prices. I picked up a nice shabby chic mirror.

Stopped on my slowly drive back to Buffalo, NY. From Grandma's pantry, to the country canner, antiques, toys, gifts, to the quaint diner. Something for everyone. I loved the Country Canner and Grandmas Pantry, for its nostalgia variety of items.

I didn't have any particular item that I was looking for, but boy did I get some goodies. This will take you a few hrs to walk thru, so plan accordingly. I bought popcorn on the way in, and it was indeed good. Very clean, and alot of shops to wander around in. I went straight into the quilt shop and bought some beautiful material. I plan on making some pillows in the near future. Wow the quilting shop was one for the books, I could have stayed in there for hrs. So many crafting ideas and nice material. They ladies do offer classes, or can tell you who does in the area. They have antique shops, puzzle store, cook ware, toy store, decor and food for purchase. Im sure I missed a few things. This is a must stop if your in the area. All the shops seemed amazing and reasonable priced. Lots of parking, and everyone was welcoming. I met a few fellow antique collectors along the way.
