Cool spot. Staff members are friendly and helpful. Quite a good selection of items. Some, if not most, things seemed overpriced. It seemed like prices are decided by individual sellers who each have their own booth. Will likely be back though cause the place is pretty nice. Not a bad place to browse for a good hour. But they're expensive and inflexible--not a great combination for a thrift/vintage store unfortunately. Beware that there is only one register and the process is very slow. They'd do so much better for sales and repeat customers if they even attempted to work with you, get at least one more register and cut the line wait. read more

Well, I finally made it up to Stuarts Draft Antique Mall!! I've been trying to plan a road trip here since September 2021! Here it is, March 2022 but it was worth the wait! Only about 1 1/2 hours from Richmond, you'll find this huge antique mall that's open daily from 10-5, 12-5 on Sundays! It's located in Waynesboro, a hop skip and a jump from Staunton, in the small hamlet of Stuarts Draft which is considered a "census-designated place." Stuarts Draft is a nod to Thomas Stuart, who purchased acreage in the area near the creek/river or "draft." There's not a whole lot to see in this tiny "town" tourist-wise, but the surroundings are gorgeous. Nestled in the Shenandoah Valley of the Appalachian Mountains, this stand alone antique mall is big enough to keep you searching for treasures for hours! A whimsical figure of Betty Boop greets you at the door as you enter this menagerie of goodies from days gone by! We spent a couple hours meandering through each booth, in each room and the mall seemed to have no end to its cavernous halls! Just follow the hand-painted yellow brick road! Every nook and cranny was filled with fine furnishings, pottery, artwork, glassware, dishware, primitive pieces, vintage jewelry, old tools, modern farmhouse items, shabby chics niches, beautiful quilts and crochets table linens, books, retro clothing and accessories, old toys, brassware, wrought iron, kitchen cupboards, lamps, toleware, cookie jars, garden ware, antique suitcases, nostalgic aprons, baskets, wreaths, pewter, and tons more! We scoured each inch of this treasure trove and found some great deals! Some prices were way too high, while others were extremely reasonable. Some of the vendors need to calm down and lower their price point! The ladies working the counter were quite helpful, allowing us to accumulate our finds at their desk. They were eager to take our photo with Betty, and were hospitable and accommodating! There was a nice clean restroom at the very far back of the mall which was convenient. I can't wait to visit Stuarts Draft again! Now onto downtown historic Staunton for lunch! read more

We were in the area on vacation and had just gone from Milmont to see if we could find a church pew for our new kitchen. We were pursuing the aisles having a good time looking at everything. As I approached the front of the store (about to make an offer on the large pew across from the counter) the clerk looked at me directly in the fact and asked if I was wearing a scarf from one of the vendors in the back. She insisted it was from her store. It was not. I told her it was a gift from my Maid of Honor on our wedding day. We won't be back. If you think you are funny suggesting I was shoplifting you ARE NOT. We left the store without even making an offer on the pew we were standing by when she made her inquisition. If you think you have shoplifters look at your cameras before you insult your customers. read more

I love this place! The owners are knowledgeable and helpful, and there's a big variety here. It's mostly on one level and features everything from primitives to vintage clothing and everything in between. I can always find a little something, and vendors often run sales, which is a lot of fun. Whether you're looking for something for yourself or a gift, all lovers of antiques and vintage need to make this a stop. So great!! read more

This is a well-organized store with a lot of "newer" antiques. We tend to shop for items produced before 1940, and unfortunately we did not find much on this particular visit. Hopefully the next time we're in the area, something else will catch our eye. Prices seemed within market value. read more
