After a major roof leak, I had to remove over half the ceiling and wall lathe and plaster in my bedroom. Bryan and Tony came out and carefully measured everything, and assured me that we could replace the walls with drywall and re-texture to obscure the seams between the new drywall and the original plaster. Given the amount of work this was going to require, I was super happy with the quote especially because they were able to start within a few days! Guillermo came out and did all the work: drywall, texturing, and sourcing trim to match the rest of the room. He also did a great job painting everything when he was done. Used T&B for the condo we sold back in June and we were very happy so we reached out again to them to paint the exterior of our house. Richard C came and did a wonderful job. The whole thing took a little over 3 days but he made sure that every nook and cranny were painted the color we wanted. A++ job, very satisfied. Bryan, T&B Drywall, was one of six drywall companies I had came out to give an estimate on a big job--2,500 square feet of drywall repair and installation. His bid was one of the lowest and I liked that he was local to my house. Beyond the first meeting, he really turned out to be a flake. He came back one other time to look at the house again before he started. He said he'd have to talk to his partner about the rate he quoted me and that he'd get back to me. I was ready to have him start that following week. Never heard back! Never got a written estimate in writing. Nothing. I guess some of these guys are just so busy that they don't feel the need to get back to people who have sought them out and considered them for sizable jobs paying a LOT of money. I went with Bryan and T&B Drywall after I reviewed their feedback on Yelp. I am so glad I did. Bryan and his team did an amazing job on our home. They removed the popcorn ceiling from all the rooms, replaced part of a ceiling due to a water leak and patched up all the cracks throughout the rooms. They worked with me on timing on which rooms got done first and ready for painting. They moved all the heavy furniture and helped me empty out some of my closets. When it came time to paint, the work they did was excellent. They were here every day until the work was done. Starting early and putting in a fulls day work. This company is great. They fixed my drywall when the HOA at my condo was dragging their feet for literally more than 1 month. They basically fixed the giant hole in the wall of my baby's room cause the upstairs neighbors pipe started leaking and the plumbers had to access it through a wall in my unit. Bryan was quick in response but: Stucco is not real stucco. Looks good but too bad quality. Two weeks and is already full of cracks. Really? At this point I feel he new that was going to be like that because eve though I payed the full amount of money (because I trust in people) he promised me he will come to finish frames windows and back yard frames doors and after two weeks he has not come and never again answers his phone. I had cracks throughout the drywall/plaster in my home and I needed to get them repaired and then painted after I did the foundation work to stabilize the house. I got 4 bids for the job and decided to go with this company. Bryan was easy to work with over text message and he sent Al out to do the job. I was initially a little concerned thinking that this was going to take too long with only one person, but Al was excellent! The job did take a little longer than expected, but I am glad that Al was the one doing it. He is easy to work with - he worked around my family's schedule, which can be challenging because I have two young children, one of which naps mid-day. The repair work was done cleanly (minimal dust - everything was adequately protected with plastic sheeting and masked off with blue tape), he was surprisingly quick (for being one person), and the house now looks great! The company "Modern Builders " in Pasadena CA does not honor the warranty it provides. Bryan Peralta who represents the company gave me a quote for a water leak problem in my living room and told me that the leak was coming from the stucco and he can fix it and he gave me a 5 year warranty on the job. A few days later I have the same problem. After many calls he finally came to see the problem and said he will contact me in the afternoon. It has been almost a month since he came. I have been calling and texting him. He doesn't answer and he doesn't return my calls. read more

I had some plumbing work done that required drywall work afterwards. I was very pleased with T&B through the whole process. Step 1) Quoting: I quoted a few people through yelp and provided a photo. T&B responded right away with a fair price and said they can do the work anytime. Throughout the week I went back and forth with others to get them to quote and one never actually gave me a quote despite talking on the phone 3 times and taking lots of pictures. Went through the motions so I could quote more than 1 person, but T&B was great from the start and no one else had a better price anyway. Step 2) Scheduling: Even though it had been nearly a week since T&B sent me their price, I messaged on Saturday asking if they can do it Sunday. They said yes, clarified a few items like drywall thickness so they could bring proper materials and said they will be there at 7am Sunday. Great! (some others I talked to wouldn't even do weekends and would have required me to take a day off work) Step 3) The work: Their drywall guy showed up on time ready to go. I showed him what needed done and he got right to work. Got everything done in a couple of hours and it looks great. Aside from the fact that I didn't opt to have it painted you'd never know the wall and ceiling in the closets had been ripped out and the looks clean around the new plumbing hookups. He applied texture to match and it did. Was done and all cleaned up by 11am. It can be really hard finding good quality contractors, but from my experience with these guys they will be my go to when I need drywall done. read more

The worker was very nice. I though the price for a small ceiling 50 square foot and inside smaller closet texture for $900 was pricey. I advised the owner that I paid $1,100 previously for texturing and this company did my living room, family room, and several small patch works in several rooms. The owner said the price was higher, bc I needed t done soon. That is the reason I didn't use my original texturing company bc they had a 2-week wait and this drywall company was available that weekend. Any who, I felt like I was paying for quality so I went ahead. The texture didn't match my existing texture. There was a patch work that they missed the texture all together.The worker of the company only did the transaction & just sent a worker never came by to check the work.
