Even when I didn't know the precise terms for things, they figured out what I was asking for and found it. The aluminum extrusion products I purchased were spot on and very high quality. Their facility in Kent is clean, organized, easy to find and get out of in a truck. But it seems like every time I'd call asking about my order, we had to play the "I'll have to call you back - I'm not finding you in the system" game. It got frustrating - especially on pickup day, when they simply could not find my pre-paid order and had to call me back a half hour later. Also, if you get a quote, ask that it be in WRITING. When I first called I was given one price which seemed about right. After calling a few other places to compare, I called SM back and they said there was no record of any previous quote to be found! "Do you know who you talked to?" Why would I have known that? And without a quote in the system, what are they going to know anyway? And on this second call, the material was now $75 (30%) more than the first quote. Sure - the metals markets go up and down - I get that. But not an increase of 30% in a day! Maybe the first person read the wrong column or the second person - but I had no choice - I needed the material so just paid it. There was no point in arguing - I had no written quote. Lastly, they said it would take 2-3 days and they'd call me... after 8 days went by I called, and once they were finally able to "find me in the system" they confirmed "Oh yeah, that came in last week". But they never did call. Overall, I do still recommend them and I would use them again. They're the best such company in the area that I've found. I've just learned to ask for everything in WRITING, and to allow extra time until they can "find me in the system" once again. Would have been 5 stars otherwise if not for these annoying issues

Cal and his team did what Les Schwab Tires couldn't after 2 attempts. That was fix the alignment…read moreon my vehicle. I took my car to Schwab and they told me they had aligned my tires. I believed them until I took my car on the road and it still pulled to the right. I took it back and was told that they would align my vehicle correctly THIS time. They did NOT, even though they gave me a computer generated printout to show that the wheels were aligned.. I called Extreme and spoke to Cal personally. Unfortunately I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment but some of the best things in life are worth waiting for. Cal's people checked out my alignment and thought they had fixed the issue but when they took it on a test drive it still pulled to the right. So they delved deeper into the problem and discovered that a rear wheel was pushing the back end of the car to the left meaning I had to turn the front wheels to the right to correct this. Perhaps Schwab does not test drive vehicles after alignment but Cal and his team did and I am grateful for that. AND the Price Was Right. You may have to wait to be seen but trust me ... it is worth it.

They were tasked with programming a new fuse box, but ran the wrong code thus turning off my info display. The steering wheel radio controls stopped working as well. Some how this became my issue to resolve after they caused the problem.Then I brought it back for another repair, I should have known better. This time they shorted my vehicle interface out (this connects factory controls/ gauges with aftermarket radios) , one of my stereo amplifies was fried and I still haven't been able to turn the microphone for blue tooth back on. It's most likely fried as well. I also found the speaker terminals on my subwoofer box bent and tweaked. The owner is shady and refused to fix the issues without me doing a dog and pony show, told me to get a letter from Car Toys saying it was his shops fault. Basically calling me a liar. This has cost me well over $1000 to fix and I'm not done yet. I still haven't got the info display back on. All of this after my company dropped well over 60k with them in the last year. Never again will we use this shop. You shouldn't either. Thief of an owner, he won't stand behind his shops work. I should sue, just on principle.
