I needed a small entryway bench and got the idea to have one made out of a single sheet of steel. I assumed that a company like this would pass on the project in order to leave time for more ambitious and profitable projects, but Joel was enthusiastic about taking it on. The end result was actually better than I first imagined. It's obviously not a complicated piece, but I don't think it could have been done better. May not look like it, but it's so sturdy, I could probably park my car on it. Joel also suggested powder coating it, and it came out so smooth, you can't even tell that it's painted. We hired Allied Steel and Fabricators to repair a large stand which holds a heavy bell cut from an old acetylene gas tank. The weld on the stand came apart while being moved, and it was difficult finding a company to repair it. Someone on a local FB group recommended Allied and we couldn't be happier with the result. I submitted an inquiry on Allied's webpage, received a response from Joel the very same day, as well as a quote. The following week we dropped the stand off at Allied, and the repair was completed 2 days later, for the exact cost quoted. Amazing customer service and top quality work. Highly recommend them. I had some very unattractive electrical and cable boxes in my front yard. We tried surrounding them with bushes, but it didn't work. I called Allied to see if they could fabricate some boxes / yard art to go over the existing boxes, and they were nothing short of fantastic. Joel is my HERO! I've searched high and low for a medal hanger. Most every style I could find held medals with some type of peg. That's great for a few but my daughter's medals are beginning to overtake every room. I needed a place to display them. I searched long and hard and finally found this style. The design makes sense. A bar that the ribbons slide across. I chose a design w 3 bars. Ribbons can be staggered to show off everything. After I received the medal hanger I jokingly told Joe to let me know when they had a streamlined way to store trophy's too. I heard back from him and he told me that they do make a shelf that can be hung with the medal holder or separately. Allied included some clips to help hold the ribbons in place to stagger the medals. I ended up using some safety pins because some of the medals were too heavy. Design process was super easy and both orders shipped quickly and I'm thrilled with how the whole thing turned out. Excellent product, excellent customer service! 5 Stars from me. read more
