I agree that the outside of the banquet hall is a bit misleading, but the inside is very nicely…read moredecorated which cuts down on the time for set-up of a party. The small kitchen in the back also helps when bringing in food and Kelly (owner) will assist with food set-up and will also provide sterno cups for a small fee. Kelly was also very accommodating for the use of our music and other audio visual equipment. The hall is very spacious and allows enough room for dancing or games or other activities in the middle of the hall between the tables. We also appreciated the use of a large cooler for ice and separate table for soft drinks. Set up was pretty close to what I would have done in my own home, but with much easier clean-up. She also had access to a gentleman to assist with clean-up and a bartender. We took advantage of the help from both and it made serving and shut-down that much easier. All in all, our guests enjoyed themselves immensely and the team that planned the party was able to get all that they needed to make my niece very happy with her surprise birthday party. The bartender looked at her and said "sugar" then rolled her eyes so hard I'm surprised they didn't get stuck in the back of her head. I understand being over your job, but my friend did nothing wrong. Was not rude, and in return got spoken to like a child. I don't know what the chip on this person's shoulder was, but if you absolutely HAVE to to be vile to everyone you speak to, try a back of the house position because you are actively damaging your bar's reputation.

The bartender was solo up until it turned into a cash bar -- she was working really hard! The music was at a great volume, and food was being passed around regularly. It's really a great space for having a private party. And on top of that, while it can fill up quickly, there's free street parking outside. I was thankful for the nearby street parking as well as the noted parking in the back. They have many steps to get to the party I was attending but it was worth it. I noticed a photo set up for those who enjoy the photo backdrop fun pics (hand raised). There were 2 backdrops to pick from and social distancing was enforced. You can decorate the venue to your personal taste and style for your event..and Bianca provides the actual tables and seating. There are also different event packages you can reserved to suit your event, i.e. training/meeting or private dining. Great staff and very nice, accommodating when I had a last second "GI emergency" and needed to run in and out. This is a complex of spaces that is used for traveling shows, Broadway type productions, and special events, pretty extensive and flexible looking space. The area around the theater seemed sketchy from superficial appearance after dark, I took ride share to/from, but I could be wrong since I'm just visiting.

It's more intimate so the space isn't as open but it's nice. It has the vibe of a club or lounge, which would be great for younger and non traditional banquet hall people. Great for birthday parties, baby showers, retirement party, pretty much any party. I would not recommend for a wedding reception unless the guest list is small. This is only because the space is smaller. There are two floors. The bottom floor looks like where food is usually served and the upstairs is the bar and dance floor. I don't think this setup could work for a large wedding reception since the meal is usually served to everyone together and the downstairs space would not be big enough for everyone to dine together. I also noticed how this place allows outside catering. Not sure if they cater themselves but this is nice and may be an inexpensive option for those looking for a venue to rent where they may want to bring their own food. I would love to throw a party here in the future.

(Yesssss $10 for valet ... unheard of in Philadelphia) walking into the venue I was pleasantly surprised, the venue size is more of an intimate space and it's GORGEOUS. The decor is very modern (leather furniture, spectacular chandeliers, gorgeous flower arrangements and a beautiful bar area) The staff (the owners, doorman, valet, bartenders and cleaning crew) were all extremely accommodating, they went above and beyond to ensure the party was a phenomenal success.
