To give some context, I have done intro offers/comped classes at almost every studio in town. Breathe, yoga vibe, M/body, Tru, JCC...I've "yoga'd" it up with very mixed emotions in each experience, and don't get me wrong, many have been great. Then there were other times when thoughts like "my body isn't right for this" and "everyone else here can do this and I just can't do this" alllll the way to "why would anyone do yoga this shit is dumb." After participating in a Yelp event with Danielle, I felt SEEN (via Zoom!) and my body was like OKAY YAS! I signed up for the intro offer IMMEDIATELY and have been enjoying very COVID friendly outdoor classes at their Woodbury street studio. Classes range from 2-5 people max and students are encouraged to do what is right. NOT what is right for the proper/perfect pose, not what looks right...but what feels right. I know this seems super intuitive, but the stress on peace and play has really makes these classes special, not to mention the hour FLIES by. I have yet to take a class from a different instructor, but am looking forward to in the very near future! I highly recommend giving the intro offer a try. I plan on buying 5 class passes after my intro offer to flexibly meet some varying wellness goals. If you are travelling from out of town or a performer at Geva, this is a PERFECT option for catching a workout! Convenient location with danger of overspending at Fuego post-class, as they are located in the same building. YAY Danielle YAY Pele Yoga. They do not sit at the front of the room and instruct rather they interact with you during class helping to position you to go further into your practice and even help with unfamiliar poses. There is a wide variety of classes with something to fit everyone's schedule. The studio is in the heart of downtown and conveniently located next to a coffee shop for a great pre and post hangout. It is a single room studio but they even have a shower in the back. I am so glad to have met Danielle and had the opportunity to join the Pele community. Their intro offer gives you a chance to try all the classes and fully immerse yourself into the space. Don't skip out on this place! ‍

If you need more assistance, they'd be happy to help- but otherwise, you have free reign! If you want to change up the colors on the picture, that's definitely allowed and they'll give you a different paint palette so you can achieve that! This would be a great place to have a girls' night, a bachelorette event, birthday party, etc.!

Naptime is set in stone with dim lighting and soft music and they work with her crib issues to get her asleep. This is a friendly, all involved daycare that I can feel good about her being in. If you can get in here, please don't hesitate, it's top notch. And being in the federal building, it's secure. I also love that they include what she is developing when she does an activity (motor skills, etc). And you get a detailed report at the end of the day!

Also the bus crazily had to come a 7am to get us to school at like 7:35am for 8 am class with their other routes. The school had a lot of teachers that left the curains open which made me overheated from the sun. They had touchscreen jumbo projectors as big as a large chalk board for teaching which was nice. The things they taught weren't helpful but the teachers were okay at teaching. I hated how few snow days were given to them here compared to the syracuse city school district. We usially had enough unused days that school ended early. I think they had one water fountain here but I'm not sure. Changing clothes into shorts for gym is 25% of the grade. That sucks. As is in most schools, there wasnt enough vacation time to not make life hell. The bus came too early for breakfast so the open curtains made me tired from the heat.
