I can't review the service as no one actually contacted me back. I did the online fill out form which says they will contact you back shortly. The next day I didn't hear back so I emailed again which they then called me. I called back five minutes later, left a voicemail and still have not heard anything from them two days later. When you call their voicemail is clear that you can make an appointment via their website. Why post that if you fail to book appointments? Their follow up needs improvement. read more

She consistently give me the best most user-friendly haircuts and styles I have ever had. Recently I really messed my hair up with box hair dye...like two levels deep...it was bad. She did not shame me, she just worked her magic and I left with my hair color looking beautiful and my hair feeling healthier than when I came in. My appointment was conveniently scheduled in the evening with Annie. She asked about my hair and scalp and offered the scalp treatment - PEOPLE GET THE SCALP TREATMENT - it was wonderful!! The wash room is a separate room with dim lighting and salt candles and nice soft music. The warm towel wrapped around my neck cushioned it and was sooooo soothing. The scalp massage was nirvana. My cut is wonderful and I can't wait to try out the products I brought home. I will be back next time I am in town!!! Got a highlight and cut while I was here. Unlike other salons I've been to, they have one price for highlights. Although there is a "partial" it is only for a few foils, however the price for highlights is about the same as a partial elsewhere. Haircuts were also reasonable. Staff was professional. They have a variety of upgrades that is on the "salon menu" that your stylist might recommend as well as Paul Mitchell products they will tell you about but I thought it was a good balance of them trying to get the upgrade with just being informative. The check-in lady never brought my drink, but my stylist got it after I asked. Very clean in the inside and they have a few girls who just go around and clean up. The washroom area is very relaxing. Low lightning and calm music play while you get your hair washed. This salon also gives you a scalp massage which is one of my favorite parts of getting my hair cut. You can "upgrade" for more time getting a massage, but I like just the normal one. My neck gets kinda tired after laying back for so long, but maybe if I was just getting a cut it would be okay since they don't have to do the toner and such that goes with the highlights. read more

My hair color and cut does look good, but the strange mix of customer service levels left me confused and annoyed. The website, decor, and front desk staff is all extremely friendly - to the point of being super cheesy - and I was expecting the stylist to be the same. My appointment for balayage and cut with Jacqua started with a customer agreement which felt super formal for a hair cut... but whatever, I was still optimistic. During the agreement time I shared with her that I am not good at styling my hair, don't want something high maintenance, and don't want expensive products. I'm simple with my hair and don't want to try and change that. This is where I started to feel uncomfortable.. I understand places have their sales tactics but throughout the appointment Jacqua kept telling me I should pay to upgrade $30 for an additional treatment, pay to purchase their products at the front desk, that I needed to learn more techniques to do my hair and stop using the products I use, and that I need to purchase more products to protect it, come in for an appointment soon to have it touched up, and more. I don't mind some recommendations but every thing I said I do she had something to criticize, and on top of that couldn't keep up a normal conversation so it was silent most of the appointment while everyone around us was chatting away. Other stylists were offering their clients magazines to read or drink refills, and she did neither. She also seemed appalled that I wash my hair every day, even after I explained my reasoning for it and what happens when I don't, and seemed stuck on my doing whatever she insisted on with my hair. Sorry, not interested. She diffused my hair after cutting it which ended up looking very frizzy, I told her this and she said I needed to get used to it. For the first time I can remember I actually went home and washed my hair right after the cut & style because it looked so bad I didn't want it to look like that the next day. Even at checkout she had the front desk girls put the products right in front of my face and again said I should buy them. She was way too sales-focused for my taste, and if you are going to tout your great service, it would be great if all the stylists could follow that as well. On the plus side, they do have nice decor and the wash room is very cool, and prices are good for the area. If I return, it won't be with Jacqua. read more

All the hair stylists here are pleasant to talk to while getting your hair done and are flexible with how you want your hair done. Excellent service, while the place is pretty packed they still get to you quickly. The atmosphere is pleasant and the whole place is stylish and functional so that as many as 12 clients can comfortably get their hair done at the same time. Large space and seating area for those who sit by and watch. Wide range of color for getting your hair died. Multiple hair products to fit every one of its needs when it's being worked on. Wonderful experience! Upon check-in, they have you wash your hands, and masks are required. While I was waiting, I saw the receptionist wiping down areas with bleach cleaner which was nice to see. My appointment started on time, and I was greeted by my stylist, Ally. She was amazing! Had such a relaxing shampoo/conditioner with a scalp massage--awesome. The area they do the washes was sanitized after I was done there as well. She listened to everything I wanted and gave recommendations too. I appreciated that she explained each of the products she was using, but in no way was pushy about me buying them. I left feeling good and refreshed. I'd definitely recommend Studio Be! I went to the South Harmony location.. When I say I'm so very happy I decided to give this place a go.. I'm understating happy. I saw Hannah and she was absolutely adorable, personable, knowledgeable and I really had a fantastic experience! I cut off over 8inches of hair and got me a cute funky new do.. I super appreciated that Hannah asked me what I wanted and then delivered BETTER than what I expected! I have been looking for a new stylist for nearly two years and I found her.. Came here for a trim and color touch up and I was very happy with the results. Kacey was my stylist and she was very sweet, and made me feel gorgeous. I started with a glass of chilled white wine, a couple pieces of chocolate, then went to the wash room for a ginger treatment and color treatment. The wash room is a separate room, which I loved! Very quiet, dimly lit, relaxing with music and candles. My color turned out great and she fixed my bangs and somehow managed to make my hair look longer! My only issue is that she said my ends would appear lighter than the rest of my hair and I'm pretty sure it's all one color but it's beautiful anyway. I can't say enough how thankful I am to have found this salon, and Laurie in particular! :) Being new to town... I knew I needed to find a new stylist and salon. I read the reviews here and also searched on Instagram for the stylists, and fell in love with Laurie's work. Although she is often booked out for a few weeks, it's worth it! And the wait list was such a blessing as I was able to get in sooner than my booked appointment. The salon is trendy yet has incredible charm. Everyone there was EXTREMELY kind. I've been to numerous salons in my lifetime where the staff is snotty and can't even bother to smile at you. Everyone I encountered was kind and did everything they could to make me comfortable and enjoy my experience. (And as a mom of two small kids, moments away like this are so treasured) You are offered a complimentary drink - water, tea, coffee, soda, beer, or wine. Such a treat!! The wash room is incredibly relaxing and the head massage during your rinse/shampoo was the best I've had. Laurie was so accommodating and did a fantastic job on my hair! Once I could afford to stop getting super cheap haircuts and treat myself, I decided to try Studio Be and love it! I'm very impressed by the quality of their treatment. After relocating to Fort Collins six months ago, I was LONG overdue for a haircut! Had tried a couple of places for waxing and wasn't pleased. I asked neighbors for recommendations via our neighborhood Facebook page, and two people recommended this place. Combined with Yelp reviews, I was sold. Spoke with a very knowledgeable person when I made the appointment. I asked specifically for someone who knew long thick hair very well. She recommended Mil, and I am so happy she did! Communications review- I received two texts and two emails for confirmation initially and for reminder. Back to back almost. A bit overkill. Tried to unsubscribe to the emails and system wouldn't load. The receptionist who greeted me was super friendly and explained the options I could add. I had been told when I made appt that Mil would do both my cut and my wax. I added lip and chin to brow wax. I also was thrilled to add a ten minute head massage. A second person...very nice and fun..came and took me back to do my shampoo and waxing. I had to wait about ten minutes for a chair to open up. She asked. A number of questions about what problems I had with my hair. My waxing was done first, couldn't see in the dark area how it looked. The extra ten minute massage was okay, but lasted MAYBE five minutes. That was a big disappointment but I didn't mention it as the person was so nice. Gave her a generous tip on that basis. UPDATING THE NEXT MORNING- looking in makeup mirror this morning...very surprised to see a ton of hair still on the under side of BOTH eyebrows. I shouldn't have to come home and tweeze all this hair. Disappointed in this aspect of my salon experience. Mil spent a lot of time discussing options with me and what I was looking for. She recommended products she liked for my hair, but was not at all pushy for me to purchase. This was a big bonus! She was careful and thorough, had a different way of cutting that I truly enjoyed! I will DEFINITELY come back...scheduled a second appointment right away! She is FABULOUS! When I got home, still thrilled with my hair, but I have a LOT of remaining hairs under my left eyebrow, and a few on the right. No tweezing was done at all after the wax, which I found unusual, but figured she had gotten everything. I had tried to look in the hair mirror while still at the salon but couldn't see well there. (See above comments added next morning). I loved the atmosphere of the salon and look forward to my next cut. Hopefully management will see my comments, but I will be sure to discuss my concerns the next time before other services. Thank you! I'm really looking forward to seeing Mil next time. UPDATE...within half an hour of contacting salon via email I received a call from Management! SUPER impressed with their amazing customer service! This salon has soul. One of the things I loved the most (besides the head massage and wine) was that my stylist listened to me! She repeated back exactly what I wanted and I felt very comfortable right from the start. The stylists are fun and nice and you can tell they want what's best for you. I think studio Be is more romanticized than it should be. They do good marketing and advertisement especially in a college town, but most girls I know who go to studio B leave disappointed over something. I have personally got my hair done there several times, and the color fades if not completely disappears in about a month... where as if you add color at other salons, it lasts 4 to 6 months, in my experience. They have a nice brand name, but the services aren't that special. It is also pretty expensive... but I have paid less for better services elsewhere.
