I had Grace as a stylist and i sadly can not remember who my daughter had. Both ladies did a great job though. My daughters hair looked stunning and was exactly what she wanted. I did not really know what i wanted just a general idea of part up and part down. The make up also looked great. I had a lot of compliments on my hair and was happy to feel like a princess for the day. I do not recommend this place at all!!!!! I saw a Junior Stylist Lindsey and I asked her to color my gray and do an all over color with toner. When I got home without glasses, I saw a patch of gray that she completely missed! She also did not do an all-over color as she just used a brush and did about 7 strokes in my hair. She shampooed and maybe conditioned in about 1 minute for both and did not use a toner! AND, NO Scalp Massage at all! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the next day when I realized this and spoke to the Manager Jamie. She apologized profusely and said she could reimburse me for the color $84 out of $125[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I just moved to Fort Collins and made an appointment with KK at The Parlour, she did a great job on my full-highlight and haircut. She took the time at the beginning of the appointment to understand exactly how I wanted my hair to turn out; I was going from a bright blonde highlights to more golden highlights for the fall/winter months, she covered all the grey and the new color blends beautifully. This was my first time getting a haircut at The Parlour. I was very impressed with everything. All the staff that works at the Parlour are warm and friendly. The receptionist got me a drink as soon as I walked in. Cruzita Mendoza cut my hair and did a fabulous job. Me and Cruzita had a great conversation, and she gave me some tips on how to trim my beard. I had my hair cut short and entrusted Cruzita to cut my hair to what she thought would look best on me. Cruzita did not disappoint. I have been meaning to do this for a while, but my name is Hailey and I went to The Parlour a couple of times to see Brittney. Let me just say that I love the environment here overall and Brittney is the best. She cut my hair perfectly, exactly what I wanted, just by showing her a couple of reference pictures. She also did my partial highlights so perfectly; it looks natural, but still lightened. I have now gone to Brittney twice and will forever continue to go to her. So before you read this, keep in mind that this is more to help my Asian brethren, who sport that coarse black hair. Obviously, if you're in this area of Colorado, you're not likely to find a stylist or barber who has much experience with Asian hair. As my previous stylist would often tell me, he'd have to sharpen his scissors both before and after my visit, something that I could tell my stylist did not do. And that was largely because of the lack of experience with coarse Asian hair. If you're an Asian guy, look elsewhere, as the cost does not justify the multiple visits necessary for the stylist(s) here to build familiarity. Again, not a knock on them, but just the reality of where we are. However, if you happen to be in another demographic, I would say it was better than what I was expecting, speaking to the skills of the stylist. Ultimately, for me, if I have to be patient to allow my stylist/barber to develop familiarity with my hair, I'd rather do so at a lower price point. But that's just me. You do you. read more

My first visit was to fix a disaster and Grace did a great job doing that. My disaster was caused by bleaching my whole head from wanting my red to be blue but it did NOT go accordingly lol. It ended up being a horrible mess I went in and Grace fixed me up to how I look in the first photo so I was able to get all that gross ugliness out and get some browns dyed in. I went back in recently because my hair is just dead from the bleach so I'm going to heal it back to my natural hair and its going to be a process. This time, Brittany helped me with what I look like now in the second picture. I feel so much better and will be returning so she can do more healing for my hair! Love this place. I found this salon when my stylist moved. I loved that they carried the Kerastase line and it seemed like a professional salon. This place is hectic, stressful and get them/get them out philosophy. Even when moving a 2nd appointment to try another stylist was hectic and I was told that new stlist would be much more expensive. I figured that when I saw she had much more experience and was a partner. Never did I mention money prior. Its too bad because I thought I found my new home. My advice to this business? I got the Groupon haircut with hair mask. Alexis was excellent! Groupons are usually for newer stylists looking to build clientele but she is already super skilled. When I got there, I was treated so well by everyone. The woman that washed my hair did a knock out job and went over treatment ideas to keep my hair healthy. UGGH, dont dont don't try this place... I went in for blonde highlights and walked out with darker hair then when I entered.... Then it seemed the stylist had plans and was in a hurry because when it came to the hair cut, she worked on the back, then cut maybe 1/4 inch, didn't take any weight off hair around the ears & basically made a fucking mess of my hair. It's not the issue of cost, I can well afford to pay 160 + for a GOOD hair cut and color. I had a great guy in Florida, and at this point will just continue to fly to Tampa to get a hair cut every 6 weeks.... I read the reviews and felt that I could get a good cut and color job, but trust me, if you care at all about your appearance, go elsewhere... This may be a great place for a trim, or for men's cuts that don't require continued schooling and education to keep up with the current styles... Thank Jeebus for the Parlour - and for my wonderful stylist, Marie. After months of hated, horrid haircuts , I finally found someone who gets my aesthetic. I am a somewhat funky prepster - and I HATE it when salons try to force their style on my unwilling body or hair. But, Marie didn't do this. She gave me a haircut I love! Plus, I've seen a lot of her do-ings. She is both versatile and creative. And, did I mention how adorable the salon is? It's muted, but stylish. Plus, they carry kick-butt products. I was recently in between hair stylists, and found the Parlour on a Google search. I was hoping to try a new style, and I am really happy about how my hair turned out. My sister also came with me to get her hair dyed. Reed cut my hair and dyed my sister's, and he was really knowledgeable and supportive. I have been in Colorado a year searching for a good hair stylist. I was a walk-in to The Parlour and went there for the reviews on Yelp. I was able to obtain an appointment with Breanne for later in the day. The front desk was very friendly. Breanne is the first stylist since I been here to get what I have been trying to state to some others about what I wanted in my hairstyle. She was very friendly, quick, helpful and talented. I was excited to finally have a good experience in the hair department here in Colorado. The haircut is what I asked for and the price was more than fair. Definitely recommend this place. I ended up in a pinch and coming to The Parlour very last-minute, and was really apprehensive as this was my first time here. I've had a series of awkward lengths, cuts and mishaps on my path to growing out a pixie cut. My last milestone in growing out my hair left me really unhappy with how the style ended up working for me, and I was outrageously anxious at what prospect lay before me. The stylist I saw (Kristen) took the time to look at my hair and the directions it grew, as well as how my hair naturally fell around my face, and ended up giving me some very factual and helpful advice about how my hair had been cut in the past. I was impressed that she took some time to help me understand how the cut had shaped my hair and why it was looking the way it was. She made some very helpful tips on hair care for me, and also suggested some easy to use products without being overly sales-y (which I really like). It was a really nice experience overall and helped me to get a little more hopeful about the next few stages that I'll have to wait through to get my hair to where I want to be again. Also, while I didn't bring my child in to the salon, there were several children there, and it seemed like a pretty child-friendly place overall. Many salons aren't though. I had tried out about five different salons since moving to Colorado when my desperate search finally came to a halt when I found The Parlour. I originally found this salon when they were able to take me in last minute to fix a (same day) horrific Groupon whack/dye job from another salon that will remain nameless downtown. My stylist and her lead (bless their souls) stayed well after close to get the job done, until they felt that I could confidently walk out the door feeling better than when I walked in. I've since had nothing but good experiences with cut and color. While the prices are pretty on point with a nice salon it's still a little more than I would typically spend but has always been worth it. (I've definitely learned the lesson that when it comes to a haircut, you get what you pay for.) In addition, The Parlour's staff are always friendly, actually LISTEN, and come off as very well educated and professional without the pretentious snobbery that seems to run rampant in most higher end salons. This used to be my go to place to get a good cut. I stopped going for a while, as they charge by the expertise of the hair stylist, so a simple cut can go from $40 to over $50. The stylist you went to last time may cost more and you don't know what the charge is until you check out. The stylist cutting my hair did a terrif job the last couple of times but had moved on. The stylist I got did not listen and was in the process of giving me a wedge cut with long sides in the front when I stopped her and tried to explain that I wanted a short bob. She argued with me, saying I had told her to cut it short in the back. Shorter, obviously, but not shorter than the whole style. After another few minutes of wrangling, I left, paying the bill, no tip, obviously unhappy. No one at the front counter said said a word although they looked a bit rueful. Company policy? Don't engage with unhappy customers? I went home and fixed the front as best I could. Been living with it through Covid-19 and looking forward to having a stylish cut again, but someplace else. read more
