There's a wide variety of items, from kitchen plates, to side tables to candles. But my favourite part is the little sister store they have right beside It's A Crock that sells hard ice cream. They have the widest variety of hard ice cream in Leduc. It's very small inside, just a counter to order at. However; there are some tables and chairs inbetween the buildings that you can sit at. And if it's a really nice day take your ice cream cone and walk down to the Civic Centre. A perfect summer day.

Winners is a weird store. Not weird as in bad, just weird as in I either go to Winners and want to…read morebuy everything or I go in, and want to buy nothing and leave disgusted. My most recent visit to Winners in Leduc was scenario A (want to buy everything). Winners is a discount store (so they say) that has deals on a wide variety of products from clothes to cosmetics to accessories to home decor to candy to toys. I've been to several Winners before and sometimes the deals are really awesome, but other times the Winners price isn't that great of a deal. It kind of depends on what you're looking for, and on the original retail price of the item your looking at. I just say this because it's easy to look and go "omg 50% off" and want to buy everything, but not everything is that great of a deal. That being said I do generally like Winners. I don't usually find much in the clothing department, just because their plus size selection is limited to one rack, but I always like browsing the accessories and the purses and handbags at Winners. The have some random brands I don't recognize, but then ones I do like Guess. On my last visit, I found a nice, basic gray over the shoulder purse that is perfect for traveling, and it was only $25, which seems like a great deal to me. I also really like browsing the home department section at Winners because they have cool home decor stuff, but it isn't just double decker bus figures and Buddha statues, there's more practical home stuff. Case in point the 6 pack fo wooden hangers for pants that I got. Winners can be quite busy, particularly on weekends or after holidays, but Leduc's Winners is nice. It's a decent size (not quite as big as some of the ones in Edmonton) and it's always clean and well organized. The staff are pretty friendly, and even when being the 15th person in line for the checkout counter it doesn't take too long to check out. I don't always shop at Winners, but I generally like it when I do.

The selection of products and especially sizes of clothing is consistently limited and picked over at the Leduc store. This store does have a clearance section, but I find that it is usually filled with broken items that are not really discounted at all. My recommendation would be to go to one of the Winners locations in Edmonton as the selection in these stores tends to be better.

It is a really cool shopping experience, where it is a little like a farmer's market and a little like walking into someone's home but you can buy their items. There is a ton of really cute items like jewellery, clothing home decor, and my personal favorite was the area with the snacks and nuts where you were also offered a free refreshment. The place is really well curated and the theme goes through out the entire building. I can see some really neat evenings out events once things go back to the new normal. It would be a great place to have a glass of wine and browse through some cute outfits.

I hand washed and hung dry. Jeans always wear out in the inner thigh area, but these ones didn't last a year either. Walking in, to the right is the drapery section. Lots of curtain samples and a large table for alterations. The owner is a seamstress by trade and has the skills to install trailer made drapes in up house. She also installs high quality poles not the crappy adjustable ones I have in my house. It's drapery goals right, there. It's a Benjamin Moore store too and they mix colours to exactly match your sample tone. They stock beautiful glassware, fancy copper tumblers and Moscow mule cups, wine glasses and more. Lots of Canadian made items for those (like me) who like to support local and have items with a story. Ornaments, lighting, oil burners. They stock Lamp Berger and has a beautiful display area for that stuff. Wind chimes, clocks, mirrors. Ok that's the expected, the unexpected stuff in here is a long list of teas, men grooming items, oven mitts, greeting cards, jewelry, more, more, more. The owner has a cheeky sense of humour that you can see in the gift options I found in there. Perfect for those who like a giggle. It's the type of store that you need to take your time going though as it is full of such awesome items. The bath bomb aisle also smells awesome! Magpie's is a store on main street in Leduc that sells local and handmade items. It's located in…read morethe same building as The Leduc Coffee Shop (coffee shop is to the left when you walk in and Magpie's is on the right). Magpie's is great because it's a store that features unique items. Everything here from local (Leduc, Beaumont ad Edmonton area) artisans and producers. There's a huge variety of gifts here, kitchen stuff, jewellery, art, bath products, and greeting cards. They also have a nice selection of kids toys as well. I always enjoy popping into Magpie's to see what's new because the vendors change every once in a while (maybe every few months). It's one of the stores where if you see something you like you'll want to buy it, because you can't be sure it'll be there next time. But the one thing that always stands out to me is the staff. Everything I've come in the person working is very friendly and helpful. One time I came in and talked to the lady working about needing to find a thank you card for a friend I was going to visit in Vancouver. Came in a few weeks later to look for something else and the same lady remembered me and asked how my trip to Vancouver was. Super friendly staff, really cool unique products that support local artisans and craftspeople is always a win. If you're in Leduc make sure to stop into Magpie's.
