I was greeted by Wonder Woman (it was Halloween) and she was very friendly and helpful. She let me browse the store without pressure (which I really appreciate because some stores can put a lot of pressure on you to purchase). Other than Christmas decorations, Jilly's a bit of everything! There is clothing in the back (it's very expensive though - so expensive I almost choked on my gum). They also have numerous home decor items, candles, bath and soap products, they have a lot of stuff. The sale section towards the back of the store drew me in immediately (it had purses). I really liked Jilly's. I will be going back to shop soon!

With so many Hallmark locations in Edmonton now closed, it's great that the WEM and Southgate Mall stores are still here. These two locations have become the last reliable places in the city to find quality cards, gifts, Keepsakes, and those nostalgic items Hallmark is known for. The WEM store really carries that comforting mix of tradition and thoughtful merchandise.When I worked in Manulife Bldg I regularly stopped and shopped at then Hallmark in Edm City Centre which sadly closed!! Igot some bargains even then!! The Snoopy/Charlie Brown piece was a perfect find, and the candle selection was better than expected. Who doesn't need to buy a card, ornament, album, or trinket for a gift?The last few times I have…read morebeen in this store, I was pleasantly surprised to see they had sales. Maybe they are thinking it's a good strategy for their overpriced gifts and to compete with another card store that often has buy one get one 50% off. I noticed the table at the front with albums including ones for baby, and wedding. They would make a great gift and many were marked down at least 30-40% off the ticketed price. I found a premade baby scrapbook which would be ideal for a new mom as she wouldn't have time to scrapbook and could just slap photos on pages already with embellishments and could add the stickers to it. When I went to pay for the album, it was cheaper than the ticketed sale price, yay! I like taking a look at the Christmas ornaments and if you plan on getting one for yourself or a friend, you may want to nab it months before as they can sell out of the popular ones. I have waited until after and the selection is slim but 40-50% off is a more reasonable price if you don't mind putting it on your tree after the day. I'm also a fan of their Peanuts collection. I have the talking Peanut characters they put out for Christmas a few years ago and the prices were good. I bring them out every December and they still talk. If I need a card for any occasion or a holiday gift, I'll be back to check out the selection.

Quality fabrics, well crafted and timeless style. Even the the deliver people were professional and courteous. I love the feeling of having high quality furniture that gets compliments. Sofaland, we will be back not to replace cheap furniture that didn't hold up up but to purchase more high fashion, durable furniture. You should go too.

They had a whole section dedicated to theatre seating and had some really unique pieces (giant spinning couch/chairs). Overall, we didn't opt to buy our main pieces here and went with LA Z Boy instead but this place is still worth a luck if you're on the hunt for new furniture. The location is on St. Albert Trail next to a bunch of other furniture places and easy to get to from the Yellowhead or 137th avenue just off St A Trail. This isn't a discount store so expect prices to be higher than the Brick or Leon's for sure.
