I was hired part time, told by summertime, hours would be available to all. LIES. i was only scheduled 4 day in the entire month of June. Upon asking the leader if we can get me on schedule, i was told indirectly that i am a weak employee and only good for coverings & shifts no one else can take. ( i only worked 2 days so far!) I cant get better as a employee without the training or experience during scheduling. Store leader was also telling me ( "Its YOU" ) its me / my fault when customers didnt wanna be engaged or talkative for us. I was told basically its my fault if a customer basically tells me to F off. when a customer says "NO", we are required to still harass that customer. After being told its my fault, 2 minutes later, first customers wanted to shop independently, i left them to shop alone. I was emotional and started crying. My leader told me "customers have a lot probably going on in their lives" which could be true. However, i got no support or encouragement from my 'so called store leader'. Instead i was asked IN FRONT OF ENTERING NEW CUSTOMERS, why do i feel personally attacked. 3- Different times did i ask my leader questions or for help, in which she seemed annoyed with me at that. Company values on room assignments were also not taught during our 3 days of training. I got told not to help or/give pricing advice to nice customers WHO ASKED on products in the other room i currently wasnt assigned to. I couldnt even ask a customer how they were doing or if they were finding everything okay, especially when they were nice and eager to talk to us, let us do our job. 4- I was getting in trouble for not using the walkie 'right away'. instead i was doing my job, having a kinda conversation with a customer, demoing products and adding stuff to her basket. B&BW wants to give compliments, and treat clients like their best friends. yet when i was doing that, i was reprimended on apparently talking / HELPING the customer for too long (it had only been about 5-10 minutes at most) total contradictory, humiliation, lack of support / encouragement within the team, and RUDENESS in front OF CUSTOMERS. I got in trouble for doing my job really WELL as i am a 3+ customer service experienced sales associate before B&BW hired me. Emma Hall should not be the store leader / Hiring manager in at the Bath & Body Works in Leduc Canada, Premium outlet mall! The other girls there are helpful, super nice and sweet. They dont overly bother you during the shopping experience but still help you when you need them too. i recommend them instead of the store leader. Update: the day i quit B&BW, i was hired on the spot at another retail store nearby. i felt welcomed, encouraged and supported. told to do my job best to my abilities. So it "wasnt me", huh emma?

I was told that they would not accept them unless I emptied out each vial for them. Keep in mind that these were their vials, with their labels. I declined to spend an hour accommodating them, and ended up taking the bag to The Medicine Shoppe in Leduc. They accepted the medications with no fuss while offering condolences, even though they were not from their store. I highly recommend The Medicine Shoppe over this Shoppers location in particular.

It's not messy and full of discard garbage like Nordstroms. My highlights were the Kate Spade and Nike store. It's bright and cheery. The food court is awesome. My most recent visit to Winners in Leduc was scenario A (want to buy everything). Winners is a discount store (so they say) that has deals on a wide variety of products from clothes to cosmetics to accessories to home decor to candy to toys. I've been to several Winners before and sometimes the deals are really awesome, but other times the Winners price isn't that great of a deal. It kind of depends on what you're looking for, and on the original retail price of the item your looking at. I just say this because it's easy to look and go "omg 50% off" and want to buy everything, but not everything is that great of a deal. That being said I do generally like Winners. I don't usually find much in the clothing department, just because their plus size selection is limited to one rack, but I always like browsing the accessories and the purses and handbags at Winners. The have some random brands I don't recognize, but then ones I do like Guess. On my last visit, I found a nice, basic gray over the shoulder purse that is perfect for traveling, and it was only $25, which seems like a great deal to me. I also really like browsing the home department section at Winners because they have cool home decor stuff, but it isn't just double decker bus figures and Buddha statues, there's more practical home stuff. Case in point the 6 pack fo wooden hangers for pants that I got. Winners can be quite busy, particularly on weekends or after holidays, but Leduc's Winners is nice. It's a decent size (not quite as big as some of the ones in Edmonton) and it's always clean and well organized. The staff are pretty friendly, and even when being the 15th person in line for the checkout counter it doesn't take too long to check out. I don't always shop at Winners, but I generally like it when I do.

This store does have a clearance section, but I find that it is usually filled with broken items that are not really discounted at all. My recommendation would be to go to one of the Winners locations in Edmonton as the selection in these stores tends to be better.

With, ice cream in hand, we were welcomed with smiles and good afternoons. (PHEW) Had the boys also been eating ice cream this may have not been the case. Note: I wouldn't tempt their good natures (haha) We came today specifically to look at books, there's always a great selection here. I was looking for a specific toy for Christmas and I wasn't able to find it online. I called the store and the person who answered told me they had them in store and if I didn't find the ones I was looking for to ask as they have them in the stockroom as the display won't hold them all. I went in around 8:30 after checking that they closed at 9. They were counting money and likely anxious to close soon as there were no other customers. I asked one of the staff where I could find the toy and she directed me to the display. There were 4 items but they didn't have any others so I gave her the names of the 3 I was looking for. Her and her colleague went to the back to look for them. It didn't take long and they brought out 2 and then continued to look for the third. During this time, I browsed the store. It's larger than I thought and the section seemed organized. The prices are a little higher for items I have seen elsewhere. They also sell candy, smart marketing to entice the children with sweets. But they have some unique items like a stuffed giraffe family. If you are a Three's Company fan, you could get one similar to the one Chrissy bought! They couldn't find the third item but I was happy they took the time to look for it. I paid for the items and since I spent more than $15, I could have bought a voice changer megaphone which I declined. I was offered gift wrapping and gift receipts. I declined the wrapping but for receipts. I appreciated the service at the end of the night and would consider this store for a hard to find children's gift.
