I went in with the explanation of how I had never colored my hair a crazy color, and wanted to to do it one time. But I still wanted to have a professional look, and man did Sun deliver! The purple lasted a pretty long time as well and it faded perfectly so that it didn't need much of a touching up. Now that all the purple is gone I'm left with a caramel blonde ombre on the bottom with my dark brown natural hair up top and it still Blends flawlessly. On August 28th my 17 year daughter had a consultation with stylist Sena to go over an appointment…read morefor a full color of vibrant green. She showed her a picture for an example and she agreed she could do it and the amount of $360 for the appointment. On September 2nd she had her hair appointment and the results were no where near her expectation. She sat in the chair for 5 hours and when she was finished Sena told her "Well you got semi cool hair". My daughter left in tears and stated to me she "never felt uglier". (Fortunately she had a friend fix it for her that night). I called the salon and talked to the manager Morgan asking for a full refund and she would not return to the salon for a correction as it already was redone by her teenage friend with the exact results she wanted. I was also told my child, who is a minor, was asked and signed a waiver for no liability of damage. Parental consent should have been given per Oregon Law. Morgan said that my daughter told her she was 18, (my daughter said she never discussed her age) nor was she asked for ID. I have asked Morgan for the immediate copy of the waiver and still haven't received it. After multiple email, and phones calls, asking to speak to the owner, communication ceased. I went to the salon today and asked to speak to the manager, owner, and stylist Sena. Morgan came to the front desk and I again asked her if I could talk to Sena and the owner, in which she told me the "owner lived out of state and doesn't answer phone calls because she trusts her to run the salon". I asked for a copy of the waiver and she refused and said my daughter needed to come in herself because she was the client. I replied that wouldn't be happening and as her parent I was representing her. Morgan then became aggressive after I told her that I had no choice but to write a bad review and post on social media so this doesn't happen to another client, much less another teen. I also told her I would be filing with Small Claims court to recoup loss of money. At that point Morgan loudly asked me to leave the salon, in which I did without incident. I am yet to talk to the stylist Sena, or owner, Renae Tichenor nor do I have anyway to do so because the email goes directly to Morgan. Not once did Morgan offer an apology or any sympathy. I suggest if you find interest in this salon to go elsewhere. We are highly dissatisfied and my child was left emotionally distraught.
