I moved to Eugene over 2 years ago and was looking for a new hair stylist. I found Mindy on Yelp and decided to give her a try, and boy I'm sure glad I did. Mindy is amazing & a true artist! My hair was to my butt & I wanted to cut my hair to a LOB. I was so nervous about cutting my hair so short, but Mindy made me feel excited & comfortable. On top of that she donated my hair! So I didn't have to go thru the hassle of donating it myself. I came back a couple months ago for a trim. I let Mindy know that I wanna grow my hair back out & get rid of the LOB cut. She listened & didn't trim off too much, & she cut off the LOB into layers to compliment my thick hair so it'll look even nicer when my hair grows out. My hair turned out even better than I was expecting! Not only is she amazing at what she does, she listens, she's reliable, her prices are very reasonable, & she's such a doll. I found Mindy online and due to her flattering reviews, decided to give her a try. I have been cutting my own hair for several months, but finally came to the realization that I had made a mess of it. Walking into her lovely studio, I felt a cozy friendliness and Mindy greeted me with a smile. She listened carefully to what I wanted (not a common trait in hair stylists, in my experience) and continued to check in with me as she cut. The finished product was exactly what I was hoping for and her price was more than fair. She did an excellent job!! She responded to my phone call within 2 hour & found a time that worked with my work schedule the following day. She is a delightful person and I enjoyed my time with her. When I say 5 star I mean 5 star!! I could not believe the absolutely transformative experience I had at Mindy's salon! When I walked in, I had short fried hair. After we decided what she was going to do to help fix my mangy head of hair, she went to work. She is so good at what she does that I actually GREW LONG BEAUTIFUL HAIR when I was sitting in her chair! By the time I walked out, I had a full head of long lustrous shining hair that had grown as soon as she touched it! She is so talented it's almost like she's magical. I'm so glad to have finally got my hair cut at Mindy's Total Hair Care last summer. I saw her ad a few times and thought it would be convenient to have a stylist near my home. Mindy is very welcoming and really wants you to look nice. Her attention to detail is just one of the ways she respects her craft. Even after one visit she remembered most things about my cut; I have not had to tell her what to do since the second visit. My brother visited last fall and needed a trim. She was very detail-oriented and communicative in making sure it was exactly what I wanted. She considers not only the esthetic look of a cut or color, but also how it fits with your lifestyle and personality. While skilled at traditional hairstyles, she's not afraid to go outside the norm. I prefer an edgy look and she is the only stylist I've found who cuts and colors my hair the way I want. She is dedicated to serving her customers and often adjusts her hours to accommodate their needs, even for emergency last-minute makeovers before important events. I was long over due for a hair cut. My ends were badly damaged from dying and straightening my hair. I just could not stand it! I wanted to cut my hair ASAP! Luckily I found mindys on yelp. It had great reviews and was only 4 blocks away! I called to see if she could cut my hair that day and she was able to do it! Got in, got my hair washed, and got my hair cut! Since it was just a trim and layers it did not take long! I loved it! I have gone to other places for the same thing and they have taken an hour for the same results and more money. Mindy accepted me as a walk-in for an impulsive haircut. She also made time for a last minute add-on dual color job. Mindy was absolutely fabulous and made my hair look great. She's kind and laid back and has a wonderful vibe. Her salon is full of beautiful plants and has a lovely, cheerful atmosphere. When it came time to pay, she did not charge me nearly enough for the time she spent. I had her cut nearly 10 inches off and got 2 colors (including the pre-bleaching) but she only charged me $65!
