Music still good but just different. Food still good , just rolls instead of loafs of bread. All we need is more butter...lol. Sliced brisket is so good and your sides all good. Green beans and corn. They must put sugar in vegetables because all are sweet. Oh, and sweet tea really good. Desserts are great at halftime! You get to see them and then pick! You will just have to go to appreciate. Waitresses are usually very good but this time ours not so much! She disappeared for quite awhile. We asked for straws but never got them. Had to ask for ice and wait and wait. Still 5 stars because this is not the norm. I highly suggest giving it a try. They have plays and different types of music nights. Stage is nothing fancy, not Branson or Vegas! It's connected to a church, so no Alcohol. Tables are of 8, so you may be with others. Usually an older crowd that appreciates a simple entertaining night. Private parking lot. Cost our night was $53.00 each. This is for a great dinner, drink, Huge dessert, coffee and about 3 hours of enjoyment. Just drive by it in Moore and see the entrance, you can't miss it.

Upon entrance you see the will-call window. Enter through the red door to the left. There were a few tables with chairs in the middle, art for sale on the wall. And then double doors to the left to the theater and bathrooms to the right. All the way at the back had a small area selling drinks and snacks. They're advertised as a local theater, but the caliber of the talent was phenomenal. The actors transported us back in time to tell this beautiful and sad story. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance, so much so that we already got tickets for their next play, "Beer for Breakfast" (Oct 17-Nov 2, 2025).

There are 8 plays in the season but you can buy smaller packages. We sometimes are gone and use our extra tickets to later bring friends to a different play. That is the beauty of flex packs. CST has a great reception area with art on display and they sell drinks including cocktails, and snacks. The theatre scene is alive and well in Oklahoma. We also like Jewel Box Theatre and the Civic Center. The play's description: Winn Dottie and Ruth Hamilton have always kept their lives in order, living each day in rural isolation and contentment. All of that changes when the sheriff drops a battered teenager on their doorstep and asks them to keep them safe. The question is--can these two older women get past their own ingrained ideas of how life should be to protect a teenager they don't even understand? Making Sweet Tea and Other Secrets refers to all the hidden bigotry, prejudice and even brutality a town will turn a blind eye to, until forced to bring those secrets to light and fight back. AACT New PlayFest Award Winner, 2018. "A well-disciplined peeling away of prejudice and intolerance." -- Lincoln Journal Star.

It's fairly controversial and there are pros and cons to the meaning but I won't get into tht. It's up to your interpretations. The center is an awesome place for these types of events. It's a little pricey so do you due diligence before you decide to go or not.

Apparently one of the perks of being a student is she can get two free tickets to any performance at the OCCC Performing Arts Center. When she told me she wanted to go see Wizard of Oz on ice, I said "You know what? Heck yeah!" I love L. Frank Baum's original classic and while the story on ice took some liberties with the story (certainly an interesting interpretation) some parts of the original story were enacted as they were in the book. I was so blown away by the talent, the costumes etc that what really blew my mind was that these are not theater students at OCCC. These were professional performers that travel around and OCCC contracts them for a show. Tickets typically start around $30 and are free for students. That is just such a nice perk! I also have to mention that this center is state of the art. The seats we had were great (we expected nose bleeds and that was not the case) the lighting was top notch, the bathrooms were clean and orderly, the staff was professional and welcoming, the facility is maintained well. I have to come back to see something else, I believe in March they will be having a Pink Floyd laser show.
