Not only did she save my hair after I went to a hairdresser that botched both the color and cut I wanted but she consistently uses the perfect products to prioritize both your aesthetic and hair health! She is so great at achieving that model blonde, the mix of warm and cool blonde with dimension that always blends well. I was contacted by the woman who did my haircut to get my money back. (Although she called me pretending to have a thank you note and then told me the real reason was to talk about the bad review) She asked why I didn't tell her I didn't like my haircut to get my money back, and I did it many times. I still struggle with my hair every day, just hoping it grows fast, but I'm not as sad as the first days, so I'm learning to live with it. I stand by the fact that I did mention about 5 times that I did not like my haircut right then and there, and only received the answer "It looks cute, I like it." The point is not that the stylist likes your haircut, is that You like it! You are the one living with it. However I appreciate the fact she called me (again it would've been better if she said from the beginning that she was calling me just for that purpose and not start with the thanks you note tale) I did not get my money back,I don't want it, I didn't review to get money back or free haircut, but to express my experience at the salon. Maybe it was a bad day for her, I'm trying to be more empathetic and understanding with her because she wasn't mean or anything, just kept defending her work but not in a rude way. It has been 15 days since my visit. I got a Shellac Mani & an Aveda Pedicure with Beth. I was REALLY happy to have a private room because it is so much more relaxing. She was sweet & thorough. Salon looks nice and girls are nice... two stars for that. But besides that, everything is blah:( I went there only once. They called me to reschedule my appt. for different hour day before. On the day of appt. I called to make sure the hour is correct and they told me my appt. is on time!!! Some girl called me by mistake? I will never know cause nobody wanted to admit she rescheduled it ... weird! Thank God I live close so I could come on time... First off I'd like to say that the salon is beautiful and all of the girls were very nice. I went in asking if they could recommend a stylist who specializes in red hair. I believe I got the next person in line for walk-ins. After showing her a picture of the beautiful copper color I was looking for, my resulting hair color was a pinkish red. :( When conditioning my hair, the stylist put Madder root over blonde highlights which resulted in surprise...pink hair! I didn't think it was that bad and after being in the salon for almost 3 hours, I needed to leave for work. The salon manager was very nice when I called and I decided to give the stylist the chance to fix it. After consulting with a few girls in the salon she was able to remove the pink, but unfortunately it still wasn't copper but it was at least not neon pink . She felt really bad about the whole ordeal and said she would give me 30% off the next time I went in. I really wanted to give this girl a chance since I don't think she was very experienced, but we had the color in the computer and I thought we could tweak it to get the copper I was hoping for. The next time I went to the salon for my appt, I arrived and was booked with someone else. I asked what happened to my original girl, and they said she was no longer with the salon. Should they have called and let me know that my appointment is with someone else? And again, can it be with someone who understands "reds'? So great...I'm starting with someone entirely new and they couldn't find the color formula in the computer. :( Needless to say, the new girl was unable to dye my hair color to the copper color that I wanted; rather it was closer to a dark burgundy (but at least it wasn't pink). NEVER say never! Well folks, I did return for a second try and I'm am so pleased to have done so! Nichole, the new manager, was kind enough to research my complaint and send me a card for a complimentary pedicure! Of course I was reluctant and a bit embarrassed that she located me, but I accepted the offer and went. Renelda was my anesthetist and did an amazing job!!! Quite skilled, professional, kind and really upbeat! It was such a pleasure being so well pampered. Apparently, it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch, it is true. As I have said in my first review, I have had many pedicures before and I am pleased to say this one topped all of the others! An entire hour of foot pampering :) Renelda is also very knowledgeable in skin care and was happy to share some of her best tips with me. Again, I am not sorry to have reviewed my first experience as I believe researching new salons and spas are necessary when finding a new one. Had I read my own review about The Green Leaf Salon & Spa, I would not have made an appointment. AWFUL HAIR SALON. I have never colored my hair or have ever gotten it done before. I went to this salon and asked for an ash brown blayage look and I couldn't have made it more clear of what I wanted. Sarah is a hair stylist there and she dyed my hair blue. So we had to redo the whole process. After everything was over, my hair turned out a caramel color after I had made it clear I want ash brown. Furthermore, one of the terrible owners, Sabrina Guzman, called my mom, my aunt, and I all rude. I guess I don't have the right to be upset after my hair was dyed blue then the final look turned out something completely different I asked for. Lastly, they discounted $20 off and said they would throw in a free shampoo for the inconvenience. However, when I went to check out, they changed their mind about the free shampoo and proceeded to try and sell it to me. Let's take into consideration I was there from 11-4 as well and I had plans. They don't even deserve a single star rating for ruining my first hair experience. All in all, the employees at the salon don't know customer service and I would never recommend this salon. read more

Not a good place for kids. I had the first appt. of the day. They were late opening the salon. I never rec'd an apology for them being late. I watched from my car as they also missed a product delivery. The stylists do know the thinning technique very well. Great place if you want your hair thinned out. Although, the trend seems to be extensions and adding hair these days. If you want that thinned out cancer-loking hair this is the place for you. read more
