The Power Yoga at 5:30 PM with Sylvia left me feeling like I had gone through a much needed massage and the Recharge Yoga at 5:15 AM with Megan was so relaxing and soothing. The withdrawals will continue... this sucks, because they've started the month per month with me already. :( Golds gym will not cancel members if they signed on for two years, but they will cancel the month to month members. They've cancelled group classes and child care. They are limiting up to 50 people capacity. They've said they have very strong cleaning solutions... I want to cancel my membership, because by the time i get out of work- the gym will be at capacity. They will not cancel my membership and will still deduct every month. This sucks. This gym is not corporate- so they can do whatever they want to us locals that can't make it before capacity.

This goes for both members and staff. Staff shouldn't wait until midnight to step in; too often they're seen on their phones instead of on the floor. A visible presence while lifting could actually encourage members to do better. Management, this needs attention!

After I was given a tour and asked repeatedly "so what do you think, you want to work out here, right?" we sat down at the young man's desk and he proceeds to take out his green pen. that's an old car sales trick, green is meant to pacify you and get you to spend money. he proceeded to tell me about every package ever sold at mf. at the end of his schtick the paper looked like a plate of green eggs and ham, it was bleeding green. i told him it was all too confusing, so many packages jumbled all on one piece of paper. i stood up to leave and mr sales guy gets upset, his cohorts get upset and are all talking to me from their desk. all of them saying things like "you will be back" "you won't find a better gym" "we are the best", i realized later they say this to convince themselves. poor bastards. i can see that this is the beginning of the end for mf.
