She insulted me to such a degree, she talked down on me, she spoke over me, didn't give me any respect, she just invaded me with verbal insults, and I was very kind to her, no reason for that behavior, nothing provoked her, she just decided to attack me that day. I realized she has no respect for human beings, I can't think of any other reason. Please consider the negative reviews and consider carefully before signing any contracts with this agent, she is abusive, because that is abuse what she does, it is verbal, emotional, psychological abuse and an attack towards individuals. Even if it is not a fizical attack, it is an an emotional, verbal, psychological, - whatever you want to call it- attack. I'm glad I now read these reviews and I confirm the same experience as most others. I am so sorry others had to endure this kind of treatment, and I wish there was a way to report this individual to someone. I feel someone in the industry needs to know how she treats people. For the in general, I don't know the agency too well but they have been very nice in regards to event requests for celebrities when friends charities have asked them to forward requests. On a personal note - previously I worked with Steve at another agency circa 1994-95. Steve is an excellent agent, and I have seen him work late into the night putting submissions together if there are actors he has that fit the part, instead of shlocking off early like other agents I've work with, and have observed do. He had a good career before this in the hospitality business but gave it up (even though at the time it meant a cut in income) because he has a passion for "the biz." Some of his clients have stayed, even though their fame could land them at a higher up the rung/ladder agency because of his caring. He always has a LOT of deals going on. I have known Bruce for more than a decade, and he has never worked less than 12 hour days, 6-7 days a week. I know that he attempts to resolve every dispute, and he can be strict, but he is not unreasonable or unfair. If anything, it is he strong sense of justice--of clear lines between right and wrong--that keep him from placating some people who in the past have gone online to rant. These folks represent a fraction of those he has worked with. I have not read anything negative online about Starpower that did not contain elements of fabrication and distortion or that was not done in a nasty, hysterical pique. Because Bruce does not yield to childish outbursts, sometimes people go off the rails to try get their way or get even. It's unfortunate for all involved.
