The board making class was very nice. Easy to follow and there were great saying and different boards you could pick from. The brunch food was so good and there was a lot left over! Unfortunately I think saying unlimited mimosas for the first hour wasn't as what it was listed as. The class leader pours your drinks but it felt hard/weird/awkward to ask for another glass. So each person there only got two glasses of mimosas. I over heard someone asking her for a third later on in the class and the lady said that after the first hour you have to pay. I thought that was wrong, at least for our class. There was really no direction with that.

They have free and low cost art classes for kids and adults…read more Each season, they have a selection of scheduled structured classes for which you can register for a small fee. Those classes very season to season- pen and ink animals, print making, special ceramics projects, photography, etc. I took a 3 session Monet class, a figure drawing class, and an intro to pottery wheel class for a fraction of what other clay studios charge. My Monet ended up hanging in the lobby. Each season, they also have open art studio time - kids drawing, teen/adult drawing and painting, ceramics, senior sessions, and more. Three week days and Saturdays the center is open and you can work on your own projects with an instructor on hand for questions or advice. All the materials are provided. Everything is free with suggested donation amounts. This is such a wonderful asset to our community.

You can take classes here, which are small and offer personalized service. You will learn a lot in the six week beginner class. You will learn how to "throw clay", make a bowl or perhaps a mug, glaze it and actually use it! How cool is that? Already know how to throw a bowl? You can also join here and come as often as you like. Its a monthly membership I think, and you pay for firing of course. Clay is priced reasonably, the space is nice, all the tools are there. All thats missing is you.

You didn't even visit the center or have any experience with the staff or the facilities yet you're leaving a one star review because you couldn't manage to have the problem-solving skills to contact the owners. I know for a fact that the guys at Buffalo Clay art are not hard to reach. in fact one time I contacted them a few days before Christmas because I wanted some suggestions on which kind of pottery wheel to buy and they got back to me right away. I was shocked at such a quick response time on the most hectic day of the Christmas season . They had nothing to gain no funds to earn from answering my question. Again they are not hard to reach but some part of me is glad that Cherie wasn't able to reach them because she sounds like an ass. I guess that's how you become yelp elite by posting comments for businesses you don't have any real experience with. In terms of my experience with the actual business, because I've taken at least two classes there and several members of my friends and family have taken classes there I can say that buffalo clay art center is a wonderful place to learn about pottery the people that teach the classes are experts they truly love what they do and they are amazing at it I cannot suggest a better place to learn from!! We chose 2 of the 3 experiences. They're quick to say it's not an escape room but I didn't see the difference. However, having been to other escape rooms, this one has better "games" or adventures to figure out. There were 10 of us so, the more the merrier and everyone was somewhat responsible for getting the rooms solved. Plenty enough riddles and problem solving to keep us busy for about 40 minutes per room. The staff were helpful and seemed to enjoy engaging with the patrons. This can be a little tricky, which was good. It should keep you on your toes. A good team building experience for friends and families.
