My husband and I stopped by on the way home from an errand out in Gloversville. We wanted a quick bite for lunch, and he remembered trying a Stump City at a restaurant a few months ago. So, on a whim, we headed over. Best decision ever. We split the Buffalo Chicken Eggrolls and each got a beer. I got a nitro stout and he got the nutty brown ale. Oh my were we happy with our choices. And even better, one of the owners, Jerry, sat with us and shared the story of the business and was thoroughly wonderful. We left with some beers in cans but will need to go back for more of their amazing nitro stout. Highly recommend them. Loved the vibe, location, story, and the beer!

Fantastic service and amazing beer! It's a cozy little place and everyone there was friendly. Matt, the head brewer, is great to talk to.

Their homemade treats are exceptional. We love seeing all of the animals there too! They recently opened a Pizza Counter to that looks incredible for weddings or events. This has always been a favorite to come to and the staff is so kind.

The kids loved walking the trail to see the goats, sheep, turkeys and chickens. Defazios has its own little special place in the back, it's like hidden in between two shipping containers and a silo. Someone was having a party back there taking up most of the picnic tables. Wish there was a little play set or big jenga, big checkers, corn hole, something to entertain the kids but nothing but some good old grass. We ended up walking back to the front going into the newly renovated store and enjoying famously known some cider donuts. As good as ever! The restaurant was busy inside had tables with shade outside so that's where we decided to sit. Drinks were good, nice refreshing ipa on a hot day. The food was basic and no fryer so no French fries or anything. The kids got bored couldn't really stay more than an hour or so. Deviled eggs were basic. Jalapeño poppers were okay, wish they didn't put the paper under them because after a few minutes the paper got stuck and every bite you had to make sure there wasn't paper in. Nice spot to stop in for a quick snack or drink, maybe some farm fresh produce.

One word: unbelievable! Before you visit, though, you must…read moreknow that their tasting room is attached to their residence, so when you pull in, it will feel like you're visiting your friends or family and not a cidery. You also need to know that it will be one of the best cider experiences you've ever had due to the uniqueness of the product and location. They specialize in cider that is aged in spirit barrels - everything from Scotch to gin to tequila to rum and everything in between. As a result, most of their ciders are still and have no carbonation. They do, however, have a few carbonated ciders. When I visited, my boyfriend and I each had a flight of four, which came with a tasting glass for $12. It was a great way to try their different offerings. My favorites were the Cranberry Crisp carbonated cider and Cidre de la Porte, which is a carbonated cider aged in Port wine barrels. They also have several cocktail specials that use their ciders. We were greeted by one of the owners, who explained everything they had to offer and brought us out on their spacious deck. There were so many seats outside that overlooked their small apple orchard and property. We were the only ones there at the time, and it was so incredibly peaceful. This cidery is a hidden gem that I hope more people discover - especially with the amazing fall weather coming up!

I ordered the Goat Cheese Honey Flatbread (I think that's what it was called), which was a delicious combination of creamy goat cheese, peppery arugula, savory crispy prosciutto, and sweet honey drizzle. I paired it with the Vanilla Habanero cider, which had just enough heat to balance the sweetness. I liked that so much I went home with a 4-pack! Fun atmosphere, good food, creative ciders, and a lively crowd. I'll definitely be back. Plus as a bonus they have seating not only at the bar and tables but on a bus!!

The service was friendly, the environment was clean and welcoming, and I left with a great impression of Awestruck Ciders. Unfortunately, my visit last weekend was a huge disappointment. The service was extremely slow, and the bartenders came across as dismissive and uninterested. They also didn't seem nearly as knowledgeable about the ciders or what they were serving. The overall environment was noticeably dirty and poorly maintained. Sitting in the bus honestly felt like sitting in a trash can, which made it difficult to enjoy the experience. The parking situation also needs attention. There are no clearly marked parking lines, and the entrance/exit has some very large potholes that make getting in and out feel hazardous. As for the ciders themselves, I was disappointed there as well. They all seemed to taste very similar, and I didn't notice much distinction between the different flavors. It's unfortunate because my first experience was so positive that I was excited to come back. Unfortunately, the difference between the two visits was significant, and based on my most recent experience, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.
