Each lobster comes with a bag of chips. We brought our own drinks. The staff was friendly and welcoming. And the lobster definitely satisfied our appetites for lunch. I've only been once to visit the big coffee cup cafe, which was traveling through - but the parking lot was crammed full (there isn't a ton of parking to begin with) and there were 2-3 different people who were helping me find a decent spot to park my car, that was so nice and if that's a testament to the service and the friendliness in general then I'd say that's pretty fantastic. This food truck is run by the sweetest husband-and-wife team, and their warmth alone makes you want to support them -- but the FOOD seals the deal. I mentioned I'd never had oxtail before, and the husband had his wife give me a sample. Holy smokes. One bite and I was sold. Ended up ordering the oxtail meal with rice, collard greens with ham, and black-eyed peas. Every single thing was absolutely delicious. And the sweet potato cornbread? Unreal. Moist, flavorful, and honestly one of the best pieces of cornbread I've ever had. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by and giving this food truck a try. Every time I stop here the food never disappoints. Cubans are $8.50 and they are big and filling. The best part about the Cuban is the pork he uses. It's a bbq style pork I believe but whatever it is, it's ahhhmazing! I always give the guy $10 because to me, the Cuban is easily worth $10+. The guy running the truck is super sweet and nice and he's usually there Mon-Sat. During the week days I see him open until around 6 on my way home but I'm not sure of the Saturday hours. He's located right off the veterans expressway at the county line road exit. He's about a mile off the expressway. Depending on which direction you are heading on the expressway, when you get off, go the direction towards US19. So if your heading northbound on the expressway and get off the exit you would go left, southbound go right. You will pass a cat resort on your right and he's near there on the left side of the road. I would definitely recommend stopping if your in the area!! Food is absolutely delicious and worth the stop. A+++

It used to be a favorite of my dad's, and whenever I came to visit, we would always stop in. I had heard it had gone downhill, but I decided to give it another shot because I always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, what I experienced this last visit was disheartening and unprofessional. Last week, I ordered a couple of meals with plenty of time to pick them up before a football game. When I arrived, the girl behind the counter asked the cook if the order was ready, and he said no. The two of them then got into an argument in front of customers about when she was supposed to press a button in the system to notify Grubhub that the food was ready. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. They apologized and told me they hadn't even started the food yet, so it would be another 15-20 minutes. I waited patiently in my car, went back in, and the food was finally hot, so I rushed home. Once I opened my meal, I realized they gave me the wrong order. Instead of the ziti and eggplant meal I ordered, they gave me plain baked ziti -- and it was very dry. I called immediately, and the girl told me they could remake it, but only if I drove all the way back. After already waiting an extra 20 minutes, I asked if there was another option. She said they could offer a gift certificate, but only when the manager returned. She promised the manager would call me. I never heard from anyone. The next day I called again and was told the manager wouldn't be in until Wednesday. I waited, and Wednesday came and went with no follow-up at all. For a $20 order, the situation could have been handled so easily. Instead, I listened to staff arguing, received the wrong meal, and then got zero accountability or customer service afterward. They even tried to blame the Grubhub system until they finally admitted they could see I did order eggplant and ziti. What happened to simply taking care of the customer? We've been coming here for years, but after this experience, we won't be back. Plenty of other Italian restaurants know how to treat people better.
