Lovely unpretentious charming Italian restaurant. The entry is in the takeout area and open kitchen. Nice friendly greeting on arrival. To the right is the dining room.Maybe 15 tables so reservations are advisable . Quaint traditional decor but not old feeling. White paper table covers give a clean appearance. Cloth napkins are a nice touch The menu is online and enough selection to please everyone. Our server Gina was prompt and friendly Quick water and wine order ( no mixed drinks) Gina was very knowledgeable about the menu. I had lots of questions The bread is fresh ,warm and amazing. The dipping oil was garlicky and flavorful with a touch of heat I ordered the chicken Milanese with angel hair pasta. My brother got the grouper and linguine with house red sauce We were seated just after a table of 10 had just ordered so we knew it would be a wait. Our salads were served quickly and very fresh greens. The dressing is house made. Creamy garlic and very good The table of 10 and the table of 6 made the wait for our dinners a long wait ( over one hour) When our meals came and my order had the wrong cook on the chicken but Gina took it quickly back and it was fixed within 5 minutes thank goodness. The cook on the grouper was perfect and it was very fresh and excellent flavor Our meals were delicious and gladly worth the wait. It was clear that care was taken to prepare our food You have to be prepared for waiting for the quality of food presented. Definitely not fast food So if personal attention is important ask for Gina. Be prepared to sit enjoy the evening and wine ( a European experience) Then definitely try this place My brother said they usually get a pizza to take home too because it's so good

Another phenomenal meal. Love love this place!

I came here with my parents. This is one of their favorite spots. The meal was very good although the service was slower. That being said, my parents said this was the busiest they had seen the restaurant. I had the chicken parmigiana. It tasted great and was a good portion size. Filling but not too much.

A piece of a cheese slice with oregano.

I have been coming to this establishment since 2013. Today, It was lunch time and all I wanted was a slice to go. The outstanding staff accommodated me by making a special slice for me. I am from Brooklyn, and very used to that thin crust with just the right amount of sauce, cheese and oregano. The gentleman making the pizza was from Italy and his name was Guy. He was extremely polite and friendly. He made one of the best slices I have ever had. The entire experience was very nostalgic for me. Thank you to the entire staff for accommodating me.

We had dinner at La Bella Napoli this evening with a 5:30 reservation. We arrived around 5:20 and…read morestill waited about 15-20 minutes for a table, which probably speaks to both the restaurant's popularity and its biggest drawback: the dining room is simply too small for the amount of business they do. We both ordered the Veal alla Siciliana, with veal, eggplant, and ham. The dish was well prepared, and the kitchen did a nice job getting everything out promptly. The sauce was good, although I've had comparable or better Italian food at Argento's, and I personally prefer a thicker, richer sauce. Overall, though, the entrée was enjoyable and reasonably priced for what you receive. The extra charges were harder to understand. My fiancée had the house salad with blue cheese, while I ordered a Caesar and was charged extra for the Caesar itself and again for anchovies. By the time the upcharges were added, the salad was around $8. We also paid extra to substitute angel hair pasta. Considering angel hair is hardly a premium pasta compared with spaghetti, penne, or fettuccine, that seems unnecessary. These relatively small charges add up and detract from what otherwise feels like a fair-value restaurant. The fresh-baked rolls were very good--light and fluffy and particularly enjoyable with the seasoned olive oil. I had a Pepsi, although unfortunately it was somewhat flat. The highlight of the evening was the service. Anna was outstanding: friendly, attentive, efficient, and helpful, including boxing our leftovers. Our tip reflected how pleased we were with her service. The atmosphere is where La Bella Napoli struggles most. Tables are packed closely together, the chairs aren't especially comfortable, and the restaurant can get extremely noisy. Tonight included a crying baby, and with such a small room there really isn't anywhere for the sound to go. If you enjoy a lively, crowded family restaurant, that may not bother you. If you prefer a quieter, more relaxed Italian dinner, this probably isn't the atmosphere you're looking for. Our total for two, including tip, was roughly $80-$85. I also noticed the suggested tip percentages on the bill now extend as high as 30%. That's certainly becoming a trend, but 30% as a suggested gratuity feels excessive. There are plenty of positives. The restaurant appeared clean, the staff was consistently friendly, the menu offers a tremendous amount of variety, and the kitchen handled a busy dining room efficiently. It's also good to see a local, family-style establishment doing a strong business, including what appeared to be considerable takeout traffic. Overall, La Bella Napoli serves reasonably good Italian food, with a diverse menu at a fair basic price, with excellent service, but the numerous upcharges and especially the cramped, noisy dining room take away from the experience. Perhaps their success has simply outgrown the space. A larger dining room with more comfortable spacing would make a substantial difference and double their business. Overall: Good quality food, excellent service, fair value--but crowded, noisy, and a few too many little upcharges.

What's funny is that when they rang us up and just stood there wait for me to sign and when I tipped 10% of my order, the lady rolled her eyes and proceeded to get my food packed up. Probably the reason why my food took about 18 minutes to pack up. But it's carry out, why would you expect to tip when you are not serving? And since it's carry out, I didn't get the complimentary house salad and bread like the dine in.

Owner doesn't care,…read moreexcuses after excuses of why the dough shrunk etc. I ordered a 16 inch pizza and got an oval 13 inch pizza not a 16 inch pizza. Called AJ and complaint because for a $15.99 cheese pizza I felt ripped off. I am not into toppings, I just like a plain cheese pizza but that doesn't mean I should expect less or this kind of poor quality and quantity pizza. I can't say I hate the pizza flavor, but whatever the excuse is, correct it by saying..Sorry your pizza was not what it supposed to be, I'll take care of you by offering a discount or something to make up for the foul up. That is customer service and shows you care and you corrected the mistake. Don't try to sugar coated by making excuses twice in a row. Correct the mistake! All these pictures I see here and on your website are nothing real from the pizzas I have purchased there. The pizzas have been smaller than a 16 inch. The excuse from AJ was the dough shrunk and he didn't saw it, too busy for quality and quantity consistency. Dude you are ripping people off by not giving your customers what they expected. A 16 inch pizza should be a 16 inch pizza you are a business not a child's play kitchen be professional! Don't make excuses and say you didn't saw it. If your employee or who ever made the pizza saw that it was not the right size, then you or your employee should had made another and correct it or offer me something like garlic rolls to make up for the mishap if your dough shrunk. I have owned different businesses and the way you handled the complaint is very unprofessional. When you apologize, show you mean it. I did not ask for a refund, but at the least you could have done something to try to correct the situation. I am very disappointed because the way this was handled and the poor quality of your product. This is poor customer service and practice
