I actually am able to own an older model Mercedes because of the talent and acuity of this team. They can fix some problems and repair on the spot if its possible, and have done magic I think sometimes, making an old car come alive again for a fair price. I've been bringing my Mercedes to Agis & Tomas for over 15 years. They are always very busy but so helpful when I've had various emergencies or issues. I'm long overdue on posting a review and once again they really came thru recently when I had a check engine light on & a headlight out. They never upsell or replace things that don't need to be replaced. They even fix things that I had forgotten to mention. Fantastic customer service & they make a great team! Aegis and Thomas are the best. Very willing to take the time to explain what and why they are doing what they do. They also charge very reasonably. Do yourself a favor and go to the MB dealer first for an estimate on whatever you need done.... then go to see Aegis and Thomas. You will be blown away. They are very accommodating as well. I live an hour drive from their shop and they have always made time for me and fit me into a time slot that suited my schedule. read more

During the recent huge rain storm, while family was away, we didn't start our 2020 MBZ for 15 days. AAA came to try to jump the battery - no way. Excellent AAA driver towed it to Stuttgart and Agis miraculously had it running by 4 pm. I thought we were going to need to get a new car with all the issues facing it - and I mean plenty of issues. This is literally the best shop ever. Egnis (I have no clue how to spell his name) has been servicing our cars (2 bmw and 1 Mercedes) for 5 years has always gave a low cost and honest price, continuously taken care of us and fit us in, and has NEVER tried to oversell. We even go as far as to tow one of our cars back from Orange County since Egnis is the ONLY person we let touch the cars. He is the absolute best and I hope he does not retire because I need him. 100% satisfied, overjoyed, and thrilled to have Egnis as my mechanic as long as he is in service I will not even consider going elsewhere. read more

Another mechanic had recommended that I replace the radiator for my slk 230 Mercedes, and he also wanted to do an expensive replacement of a seal for the Differential. I had heard great reviews about Stuttgart Motors and decided to check out this place and get a second opinion before shelling out the big bucks. I'm glad I did, because the younger guy who looked at my car (at no charge) informed me that the radiator was probably fine, and the slightly damp housing on the differential was to be expected for a 20 yr old car. No seal replacement necessary. A 5 minute visit saved me a couple thousand bucks. I will be taking my car to Stuttgart going forward. read more

The best and honest mechanic I ever came across. I have been taking my 2000 MBZ E320 for over 18 years and 2004 BMW 525i for 12 years to Egis. He always fix the issue on 1st trial. I was stranded in Santa Barbara. My 380SL wouldn't start. The AAA tow truck operator had a couple of AAA certified mechanics but called Stuttgart first. They were knowledgeable of my older MB and was direct and honest about my options. He was able to get the parts we needed to get back on the road by 6:00PM, and if your a late model MB owner, you know what a miracle that is. I had a terrible experience at Stuttgart Motors. Sorry to say that I would describe them as anti woman and certainly suspect in their service and repairs. I took a Porsche in for a routine oil change and after they did a "courtesy inspection " my roof wouldn't close and I literally lost all my antifreeze standing beside the car in their parking lot. They comped me labor after some intense conversations- but still cost $1600 in parts for the top and antifreeze to get my car back to the condition it was when I dropped it off! They also forgot to install a part on the top and I had to go back again for that. It was clear that there was a negative energy around my presence. So all in all strong wArning to go to another German car shop. read more

If you have a BMW or Mercedes, don't even consider going any place else for minor or major repair and scheduled service work, whether your car is old or new. I have taken my BMW here for the past few years and, after owning 4 BMW's in succession, wish I had heard about them a long time ago. The environment here is professional, thorough, and reasonable. Eigess and his fine mechanics (Thomas, especially) are extremely experienced, fastidious, and will explain everything in detail that needs to really be done - and you won't be charged for work that doesn't need to be done unnecessarily. Keep in mind they only work on BMW and Mercedes and are so busy you might have to wait a few days for "non emergency" service. Trustworthy, honest, fair, capable - how many times can you say that about a repair shop? Enthusiastically recommended, and my only complaint is I wish I could bring my Porsche here! read more
