While many mainstay stores have left, they have a few stores still that could make it worth a visit: uniglo, stew Leonard's, LL Bean, etc. The food court upstairs has far fewer options now. The one thing I've always liked about this mall was that it was easy to navigate and hard to get lost in, unlike its sister the Garden State Plaza mall. Plus parking is super easy in comparison as well because of far fewer patrons. Management also seems to have kept up with the mall's maintenance and decor even with fewer tenants. No tax on most clothes and shoes in NJ so that's always a plus! You won't likely find everything you need here but if that's not an issue, not a bad mall at all. read more

I love a good mall-run, but this experience was so sad and underwhelming. I've often gone to Paramus Park SOLELY for a Stew Leanord run, and never -ever- ventured beyond the store gates into the rest of the mall (because I've heard things). Today was the day: I was going to go into the beyond, and see the rest of what Paramus Park had to offer. And to be honest, it offered very little. As I ventured through the entire Mall, in maybe took me 15-20 minutes in a relatively comfortable pace, and it SEEMS 1/2 open businesses, and 1/2 shuttered-closed businesses. I like a quiet mall. I avoid malls on weekends for this reason, but this wasn't just quiet, it was strangely quiet. I've just experienced a mall past it's prime. Odd. I would've loved to see it in it's glory. There were more people in Stew Leanords (probably) then the entire mall put-together. Thank god for that supermarket to choose Paramus Park for its location! I actually love Paramus Park Mall, because it's not so overwhelmingly large that you need an ebike to get from one end to the other! However, how is someone who works and has to get dinner for the kids first supposed to get to the mall and shop before it closes at 8pm?! It should stay open the same hours as all the other malls: 9pm on weekdays and 9:30pm on Saturday.​ No winder they're struggling!! read more

Happy to see this mall is still surviving even though half of the retail and food stores are already closed. Still there are few high profile places still around like Uniqlo, Starbucks, Chick fil a, Panera Bread, Macy's Backstage, Old Navy, those still bring bunch of visitors to the mall on daily basis. A completely different experience compared to GSP, Bergen Town Center, and Riverside... and I don't mean that in a good way. I remember coming to this mall as a child and having a blast. I came by yesterday on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty dead. I couldn't help but feel sad while I was walking through. It's like watching a very slow death... There's very limited shopping and dining options. Most of the stores have closed down. The few stores they do have are mostly smaller brands. The food court is mainly empty. There's just not much to DO here anymore. I'd say it's worth shopping here if you're only looking for a few items and want a very quiet shopping experience. No crowds, no parking issues, no long lines, no hassle. There's some notable brands like Macy's, Bath & Body Works, Old Navy, Sephora, Victoria's Secret, Ulta, Uniqlo, and Stew Leonard's. They have a Chick-fil-A and Panera. I really hope Paramus Park can return to its former glory. read more

The last time I visited here was prior to 2021. My family and I were staying at the nearby Fairfield Inn & Suites. We drove over because there was the threat of rain. We first stopped at the food court for a brief snack. The place has changed negatively since I last visited in 2020. Most of the food court businesses were closed. We were limited to getting a Nathan's hot dog. We noticed that there were buckets in this area collecting rainwater from the roof. Also the food court and the mall was not crowded. After we ate our hot dogs, I shopped at Macy's for some clothes. Even at Macy's there were fewer patrons than I last remember. Macy's seems to have the most customers. read more

I thought this small is very small because it has 2 levels and not that big. It is not that busy and crowded as other malls like the Westfield. There is a statue called "The Wild Turkey" on the 2nd level representing the mall, which consists of a Native American boy sitting on a big turkey. It looks very cool and very brown. The food court is kind of small in my opinion with Nori Japan, Chick fil A, Ray's #1 Pizza, Nathan's, and Cuban Eddie's to name a few. There are many seats throughout the whole food court. There is a mini playground area on the 2nd level for your kids to play in, which is in the food court area. There is also a paid playground called "Go Playland", which takes up most of the 2nd floor. I didn't see it quite busy the time that I went. It has slides and floor mats for obstacles to run and fool around in. Going to bring my daughter to this play area next time I'm there. read more

The mall is the busiest. I've seen it in a long time. I'm sure because of the holidays. It seems as if half the stores are now gone, but one of my favorites Macy's is still an Anchor store. I always seem to get some good buys. For the most part, the prices are reasonable at Macy's. I like Paramus Park specifically for the UNIQLO store and Stew Leonards. It's way less crowded than Garden State Plaza. Less stress inside the mall and navigating the parking lots. Plus, it's good if you have little kids who want to ride those wheeled animals or do that bungy cord thing by the Panera Bread. There's a lot of room for kids with lots of energy to burn off. I like KBBQ and Cuban Eddies on the second level food court too. read more

This mall stands out as one of the busiest in the area, but not as bad as Westfield Garden State Plaza. I consider this place to be not overly packed due to the size, and also it's a 1-floor mall, with the expectation of a food court on the 2nd level. Most of the stores I saw carry common retail names and even names that you wouldn't imagine. There is a Stew Leonard's which is connected to, and to my surprise, I didn't expect to find one here. Chick-fli-a is another, and also L.L. Bean to name a few. The food court is a decent size, with a variety of foods to choose from, and enough tables to fit people. Waiting in line can be a bit of a struggle when it gets long, leaving small room for people to walk by, especially Chick-fli-a. I saw a couple of food places closed. The hallways look well-kept up, and the mall itself looks active with plenty of stores to venture into. Consider stopping at Paramus Park. read more

There is always plenty of parking!!! I've never had an issue with that here. Inside the mall is super clean, but funny enough, I've never seen staff lol! I have seen security guards walk around though. They have tons of stores, from clothing to grocery, and jewelry to snacks! Need to get Christmas items and a haircut, they have a Christmas store and a salon. Need a massage and sneakers, they have a massage place and a sneaker store! Want some jewelry and a steak? They have a jewelry store and a super market!!! I will say that it does have sort of a strange layout... It is a long squiggly line hahaha! Because of its size, its decently easy to get from one side to another. The food court is on the second floor! Yes they do have a Chick-Fil-A!!!!! They also recently opened up a kids play place. I was running through last time and didn't get to fully check it out, but it looks like fun for kids 2+! All in all a very very cute little mall. They have 95% of your shopping needs. This Mall is beautiful on the inside but they should remove the Nathan hotdog restaurant and put the Wendy's Restaurant instead and they should remove that Arcade place that only accept cards and they should put a Chucky Cheese for the little ones to entertainment themselves with there parents so they could have fun. And they should have better stores and they should have Mc Donalds express where Panera bread is and pizza Hut express upstairs they should remove Mr. Cupcakes and have Pizza Hut express instead and they should remove the photo booth because we take photos with our phones now and that's a waste of money. When mall culture was a thing Paramus Park was it's epicenter. All the usual suspects (Sam Goody, Swiss Colony, Radio Shack and Spencer Gifts) vied eagerly for the disposable dollar and teens congregated in packs just because our current cabal of digital time killers like texting and Instagram were still thirty years off. Now that a grocery store (Stew Leonard's) has replaced Sears and a dental office and Build-a-Bear pop up store have taken over, this once thriving retail mecca looks to be flailing. Sometimes nostalgia ain't nostalgia, this big box mausoleum is just old and it shows. I can get Starbucks anywhere and I certainly don't have to traverse the GSP to have my arteries clogged at Panda Express. Paramus Park is now a completely redundant experience. In ten years this space may well be reimagined as a medical pavilion fully capable of rebuilding my knee, until then rebuilding a bear just won't cut it. Three stars and fading fast. read more

Nice mall. While this mall is much smaller than the Westfield Mall close by, it is a nice enough mall and pretty spacious overall. It does look a little dated (structure, not décor) and if not for the businesses, I would think this was a mall right out of the 1980's. The food court is a little weak. Sbarro, Taco Bell, Sarku Japan, Chick Fil-A, Nathans, Burger King, Burbon Street Cajun Café & Grill, Masier Wok, Dunkin Donuts, Auntie Anne's, and Charley's are the selections and you could pretty much eliminate most unless a Sbarro or a Taco Bell is your thing. There were plenty of tables and mostly clean. The mall is a nice walk and you could spend a few hours here browsing if need be. There is a small upper level and the main, larger lower level. Plenty of businesses to frequent to browse or shop. It wasn't overly crowded when I went and that is always a plus. Mall is generally clean and taken care of. Parking lot probably needs a repaving in some spots, but there was ample enough parking. All in all a nice mall in the area. read more

This is the best mall in Bergen County. The people who designed it really put a lot of thought into it. It's indoors but because the roof is made of glass they are able to grow real trees and when you shop you can see the sky! It also is very quaint and slower paced so it's nice to walk and relax, unlike the craziness that is Garden State Plaza. It has SO MUCH potential. I wish they would bring back the water to the fountain and they should bring back more food options to the food court. Also, for the life of me, I do not understand why they would have the pizza place they now do. We have so many good pizza options in Bergen County- they need to up their pizza game. Being that it's the smallest mall out of the 5 I go to it makes shopping convenient, however the size can also be a con (see below). Whether its Abercrombie, F.Y.E, books-a-million and half their food chains to name a few. Place has the rudest workers in any mall I have ever been to! Was here for a christmas even and the mall closes while we are in it... thank goodness we were early or we probably wouldn't have made our reservation for 7:30pm because the website says this mall closes at 7pm. My 7 year old had to use the bathroom on the way out and get this... they had a roll down gate shuttering the bathroom. And the nasty rude disgusting worker cleaning the bathroom yelled at my wife who was pleading for our kid to use it. For what it's worth, I like this mall. Yes, it's small. Yes, there isn't really much to it. But I like coming here to take a stroll and do some shopping. The mall isn't huge like the Garden State Plaza but there is plenty of space for you to walk around. I like the food court better at the Paramus Park mall even if it is smaller than GSP. There is a Panera, Steak and Shake, Chik-fil-a, Taco Bell, etc. The options are better. They have some nice stores like, Yankee Candle, Charming Charlie's, Express, Torrid, Victoria Secret's, etc. They have lots of kids store options and I prefer to go see Santa / the Easter Bunny at this mall. My daughter loves the play area a lot. She can spend a good hour there crawling, climbing, and just exploring. She likes to play with the other kids that stop by as well. It gives me a little breather! If you are looking for some low key shopping, check out the Paramus Park mall. It's a no hassle experience and I like it! read more

I pre purchased tickets on their website and then a few days later from them saying they weren't actually going to be open on the day that THEY sold me tickets for. ok, no big deal stuff happens. but they then proceed to tell me they want me to reschedule for another event, not the event I booked for. I said no thanks I don't want to go to another event I was only interested in the event I purchased tickets for and said I want a refund. They then stopped replying to emails. I followed up with another email. They said ok we'll refund you. No refund ever came. I emailed them again asking where my refund was. They ignored that email too. Didn't realize this place existed until I needed to come to Uniqlo. I initially went to GSP but was redirected here. This place is a small little complex that holds a good amount of stores but honestly the only thing I was interested in is the Uniqlo- this store is bigger than the one in willowbrook and I guess because not a lot of people know about this location, there were a lot more clothes here . The staff are EXTREMELY helpful and sweet - willing to help and are everywhere so you don't have to go searching for them. the mall itself is very kid friendly- a lot of activities for them to do. Parking is abundant which is good and since this place is so compact, you don't have to walk much. They even have a starbucks and Panera if you're hungry. Overall, I don't see myself coming back since I have malls closer to me, but it was nice to see my options. read more

My wife was informed that customer parking is limited to 3 hours for EV charging. My wife prefers mall walking with our infant son while charging the vehicle there as it's less crowded than GSP or Bergen Mall. So she's accustomed to spending a few hours while charging since it's free. Because its not a fast charger, usually takes 2 hrs to go from 10% to 80% again. Older security guard rudely approach my wife and her car with my infant son when she parked there, saying that she couldn't be more than 3 hours parked. No where does it say this there in the spots or in the mall. For a mall that is barely hanging on compared to GSP or Bergen mall, surprised they would tell customers there's a limit of parking. Maybe they assume because my wife had our son in a stroller she'd be parked for a while. Seems discriminatory now that I think back on this. Spoke to security management, apparently it's because of staff parking cars there. If you have mall staff parking there then handle it internally. Why are you assuming everyone parked there for a few hours is an employee. That's the fault of your management not properly managing. Besides Stew Leonard's this mall has nothing else, go to place that would value you as a customer. read more

Back in the day, before they enclosed the GSP, Paramus Park was THE place to go. In high school, as soon as we got our licenses, we went there literally every day (except for Sunday, of course because it was closed) Sure, the Bergen Mall was enclosed a few years earlier but it was always kind of lame. I was never really a Stern's shopper and JJ Newberry wasn't really for me. I remember when they opened back in 1974, A&S on one end, Sears on the other with an eclectic group of stores in the middle that accurately reflected the times. There was a huge Fortunoff in the middle, across from the waterfall where my father worked part time during most of my childhood. Other stores included, Proving Ground, Athlete's Foot, Lodge at Harvard Square and perhaps the most popular purveyors of horrific cheap 70's apparel, Chess King. The first Gap I ever visited was there, as well. They were the very first mall with a food court featuring Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor, Magic Pan Creperie and the only Chick-Fil-A I had ever heard of, let alone seen. I loved that mall. There was a huge stone, tiered water fall in the middle with dual escalators and a serpentine set of stairs that ran through it with various places to stop and rest. They had a spherical glass elevator which was the first I had ever seen. We used to ride up and down on it because it was just so cool. There was also a giant statue of a turkey with an Indian on its back (moved upstairs to the food court recently). Then, somewhere along the line, someone decided to renovate it and they killed its entire personality. Gone are the waterfall, the glass elevator and the rock wall and in it's place is a benign fountain that couldn't be any more boring or pedestrian. No more copper ceilings either. I understand that mall stores come and go. Tastes change and with it so do businesses. But back in the day, going to Paramus Park felt like an event; something special and exciting. Now it's just another frigging mall and it makes me really sad every time I go there. read more

Growing up I used to love going to this mall and so did my family. It was small and easy to get to and had a bunch of shops in it... it was a one stop shop kind of mall! I'm not sure what is going on with this mall now and it's so sad! There are barely any more stores and it's not because they have been replaced with nonsense shops but it's all completely vacant.
