I have found my new go-to nail salon! I'm OBSESSED! I was desperately looking for a nail place near my house that had availability for a gel mani and regular pedi in the early evening and found that this beauty bar was only an 8 minute drive from me so I called. The lady on the phone was an absolute pleasure to speak with and I booked an appointment for the very next day. From the minute I opened the door to the minute I walked out there were nothing but positive, feel good vibes. The girl at the door greeted me with the most authentic smile and took me right to the seat with my nail tech. She asked me if I would like anything to drink and the other nail techs suggested wine after a long day. Nails and wine? AMAZING! As I happily sipped my wine, my nail tech, Marta, was paying super close attention to detail and making sure I was happy with everything (which I was). Through the months, my nails have broken and gotten super short and she still managed to shape them nice and square. And when my original nail color idea wasn't working out (I wanted 2 coats of one color and 1 coat of another) she showed me what it would look like on all the nails and made sure I was satisfied. I wasn't and she without hesitation took them off and continued with a better plan. I truly love nail techs that are more interested in a satisfied client than getting the job done quickly. As customers, we understand that there may or may not be appointments available on a given date or time, and by all means, it's absolutely okay for the business to say so when someone makes an inquiry. However, what's NOT okay is to snicker at a potential customer when they make an inquiry. I wasn't being rude and I see no reason why the lady who answered the phone felt the burning desire to be rude to me! It was a simple inquiry about availability of appointments and I was expecting a simple yes or no response. I still can't wrap my head around the logic behind this business's representative responding to my query with an irritated tone of voice and sarcastic answers. I understand that you guys are possibly overworked due to the upcoming holidays, and, believe me, it's okay to say no to a customer. But it's absolutely unnecessary to be sarcastic and rude while doing that. There are a million ways to say no politely and respectfully. I really wanted to like this place and for the price for Gel Mani and Regular Pedi, but unfortunately I'm not happy with my nail job at all. Now I'm the type that doesn't say anything because I'm ready to go plus it's the holidays, but I'm also the type to not return. This is just my experience and I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying this place out. I personally just wouldn't risk spending money again. The salon itself is very cute, clean, and no parking issues. Side comments for the salon that did not factor in my review at all: - the cotton balls used and the towels - not great. They leave lint everywhere. I told the tech about 2-3 times of the lint because she was painting over it. Microfiber towels are probably better to use for this. - I wasn't offered anything to drink unlike someone else that walked behind me lol and the two ladies by my other side had. Seriously though it's okay! It happens, probably slip of the mind. - The gel hand dryer is not good. It wasn't drying the nail polish on my thumbs. Again, these have nothing to do with my review. My 2 stars come from my nail polish. 2.5 for my personal review. I wish more time would have been spent on the nail cleaning - as in the cuticle and skin around it. The gel polish has clumped by the cuticle. I have smudges on my pedicure. I also have a clump of nail polish on one thumb. I know the tech noticed but guess wanted to finish quick. I was left with red paint on my skin. I do understand that red can be difficult, as she mentioned, but I've had it done before and not left this messy on my skin. Photos were taken and it looked nice with a filter she put on it lol. Not the worst paint job I've gotten but just not clean enough for my taste. read more

But it didn't click for me at the time.) My main concern being, "How good can their nail service really be if they're splitting their efforts between that and designing and selling jewelry?" But boy am I glad I didn't overthink it. Never in my life have I received such wonderful service. And, trust me, I'm a huge stickler for good service. In fact, when I had a less than pleasant experience with one of their hired technicians, they not only made sure to make up for the inconvenience, but they introduced me to the best nail technician I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Disposable buffer, file, etc with every client. Comfy chair, pleasant aromas, tranquil music, etc. On to my service: Pedicure on 6/2/20. This was THE BEST pedicure I have ever had and then some! The girl was extremely thorough and delicate at the same time. Asked several times if I was comfortable and to let her know if anything was not to my liking. My feet feel brand new and my heels only looked better when I was a baby (and this is after MONTHS of not getting a pedi! Covid, etc). The technician kept on soaking and re-treating until satisfied enough with the result. How I wish I had a before picture! Unfortunately, I did not ask the name of the technician but I'm sure you can probably call and find out. I am giving this service a 20 out of 10 and can't recommend it enough. This place is EXPENSIVE. I went in for gel mani reg pedi and a wash and blow dry. My hair at the time was pretty long, I would middle of my back. However I have very fine hair so it really only takes a hairstylist about 20-25 mins to do. When it came time to pay, they charged me $160. I was shocked. Appalled. Never in my life have I ever paid anywhere near that amount. Of course, this is all my fault. I should've asked beforehand and I should've complained at the register. But I had been there for far too long and I was already 30 minutes late to a dinner reservation so I just paid the excessive amount and vowed never to return. I'm not trying to rain on the parade, but I got the worst haircut of my life here today. I showed the stylist an old picture of myself with the style I wanted and explained it to him. Halfway in I could see that he either didn't understand me, or didn't listen, and I had to remind him what I wanted. I tried to show him the picture again and he said "I know, I know," and wouldn't look at it. This was a very short haircut that requires clippers to blend/fade the back and sides, and I kept asking when he was going to start using them. I even said "you do use clippers don't you?" He said "yes of course," and a few minutes later I learned that there weren't any clippers in the salon at all. He never should have started this haircut with no intention of using the necessary tools to accomplish it. Instead he tried to fade with scissors, making me sit there and watch my hair get shorter and more ridiculous. I finally just asked him to stop and he made a half a** attempt to style it. I paid $65 plus tip and they let me walk out of there looking like I got into a fight with a lawnmower. read more

My daughter found this gem onYelp when visiting from out of town. She told me about it and seeing as though I'd hadn't gotten my nails done in months, I was well overdue. I took a chance by walking in without an appointment. I was greeted by a lovely young lady and told that they could take me in 30 minutes. I ran a quick errand and returned because this place was stunning and looked so relaxing. I was seated in a big comfy leather chair and was offered hot tea (yum) and Ivette places a towel on my neck with a nice warm neck wrap....ahhhhh...I'm so happy! Liliana did a great job on my nails. Lol, she had her work cut out for herself. I paid a very reasonable price for the service too. Even if you don't need your nails done, they have lovely gifts of jewelry, clothing, candles and aromatherapy goodies. I'm telling you to try this little boutique/nail spa.
