During my stay in Miami, I needed to get a pedicure and this spot wasn't too far from my airbnb. Before anything else I'll say this, a Reservation is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I walked in at 3:30pm but all techs were busy, so they set me up for an appointment at 4:30pm. I'll admit I had a few errands to do before and an event I was getting ready for later on in the day, so I was watching my time pretty closely. I was in the chair at 4:37pm, tech started on me at 4:53pm and I was out by 5:30pm. The establishment itself is very clean! A fresh set of tools were used on me and knowing that just helped me relax even further. I knew I was in good hands as soon as I pointed to a specific pink that was on my manicure and the tech was able to pick it out for me immediately. Disappointing experience - first of all they charged me $20 for an eyebrow wax that took all of 5 minutes. I was shocked and thought the price was wrong. The price on the website is less than what they charge in person for manicure and pedicure. The selection of colors is tiny - the chairs are ripped and nothing seems sanitary. Sadly I won't be coming back and do not recommend for anyone that values quality DANAY RUINED MY NAILS I thought this place was ok for me to come do my pedicures, but I decided to get a regular manicure with gel removal after my 10th time of being a customer here which seems like the most basic service ever My nail technician Danay was nothing but lazy she felt extra comfortable getting on instagram while I was waiting for her to start removing my gel polish I didn't get my nails painted so all she had to do was remove the gel and do file in my natural nails to give them shape and take a little bit of length but she refused to even file my nails which is part of a regular manicure Danay ruined my nail beds making them embedded and damaged because she pushed too hard on my nails She didn't file my nails in the manicure and I asked why ?, so she said she was going to cut my long natural nails with the nail cutter (like hello? Did u even go to beauty school)Anyone that knows about nails knows that if you cut long nails you break the foundation of it ruining the entire nail bed (I am not a tech but this is basic knowledge when u have long natural nails) She told me I could file them myself in the salon bc she couldn't do it herself ??? Like why am I paying for the service if the tech is going to be plain lazy and rude being on the phone on instagram and talking about their personal business along the other nail techs loud in the salon makes it so uncomfortable specially if you are trying to relax, she wanted to up charge me for the gel removal saying it was acrylic? I always have a lovely experience at The Nail bakery, the few times I've been. Today, Chloe took care of me. But even before that the receptionist welcomed me with a smile. I was actually really early to my nail appointment and Chloe started me off until her 12:00p showed up. Chloe did a great job of starting me off by removing my gel polish, then I had to wait around 40 minutes for Chloe to finish her 12:00p but although she was taking care of her 12:00p, Chloe called me over to continue taking care of me. Chloe is really patient with her clients and manicures beautifully. I'm in LOVE with my nails and I got the Polish idea from the receptionist who was wearing the color. I booked The Mini Baker Manicure for my 10 year old daughter. When I arrived, the owner immediately told me that the Mini Baker Manicure was only for 7 year old and younger. I explained that her website says for 10 years old and younger and it was $10.00 She told me that it was an error . Obviously, it was a mistake on her part by having 2 different prices for the same service. (Both picture attached showing different prices and details about age requirements. ) She wouldn't honor the price that I showed her and still charged me $12.00 She offered me coffee, and I never received it either. I was very unhappy with my service today. I needed an emergency mani for my boyfriends birthday so I found this place on yelp and made the appointment. The owner was actually the one that did my nails. Let's just say that she said she would charge me for a regular mani because she wasn't happy herself, when I went to pay they only gave me a 5 dollar discount. She was very nice and was having cuticle issues but then went to tell me that that color (suzi chases portu-geese) does that all the time specially on someone with stuck cuticles. She had to remove the gel that ran to the side of my nails and cuticle. The gel mani took an hour and a half which made me late for my event so that didn't help either... I've done that color a million times at my usual nail salon and have never had that issue before. Last time I go there. read more

I paid a lot of money for a dip manicure that took almost 2 hours and is already peeling 2 days later. The salon is difficult to find, but very nice inside, but I'm pretty upset about the poor quality. As you can see in the photo, the top gel coat is peeling off, which is unacceptable to me. I would go get it fixed, but I'm not driving an hour to get them redone and have it take 2 hours again. read more

I absolutely loved my experience here. I don't speak Spanish (which I am slowly trying to learn) and everyone in the salon went above and beyond to try and keep me included in conversation. The technician that did my nails was even sure to translate every step of what she was doing which I thought was so nice. She did a manicure (cutting all the cuticles) and a full set with dip polish. I've never had such a bad job done on my nails. Not only did they take 2.5 hours to do my dip with tip (it's usually about an hour or less in other places) they also cut my cuticles on two nails to the point where blood came out and I had my skin scrapped off in two other nails because they filed them too hard. Apart from that but product they used was not good at all because my nails took a long time to dry and when they dried they weren't even smooth or even. The owner knew the job wasn't good and the only thing she offered was a free $3 candle- no discount or anything. They did have the courtesy in asking if I could stay longer for them to try and fix my nails but after being there for 2.5 hours I couldn't stand to be there longer especially when they had already tried to repair my nails and failed to do so. Needless to say it was a waste of money because the job was so bad that I had to go to another nail salon to remove my dip. Sure enough this is the first and last time I'll visit the salon. read more

This new salon is a newfound jewel, so refreshing from the old tried out typical nail salons of the past. As a business owner myself I applaud business owners who take chances and make themselves stand out by offering a truly unique and differentiated type of service. The idea of making it "bakery themed" by using beautiful pictures that showcase fun nail colors paired with food (who doesn't love those two?) I thought was very clever. There is a comfy waiting area too where I was able to answer to some emails while I waited for my turn and that's definitely a plus. Tons of little touches, like modern pedicure chairs and options for yummy lotions were appreciated. The prices too, I mean, you can't beat those and the quality and service I thought were superb. The place has been revamped and made into a beautiful salon where they now offer additional beauty services but with the same staff as before. This place is excellent. The customer service is great and the staff do an AMAZING job. I've been here twice in the past month and both times I'm left in awe once I leave. The concept and place is nice. I liked having my nails done by Adriana. Today I had a bad experience with the scheduling. It was confirmed and when I arrived i was told she was not coming in. No one to call me to let me know. So I asked if there was anyone available. The answer was yes, that I would have it at the same time. After waiting for 20min i said i was living, couldn't wait. No one seemed to care about losing a customer. No even the owner that was there. All I got was an "ok". Not even trying to rebook or anything. Sad! read more

The Nail Bakery & Spa is very cute inside with lots of cute detail. For nails most of the technicians are great, very nice and experienced. One out of every 4 times I go I am a little disappointed, but know next time it will possibly be a better experience. Equipment is sterilized well. Only one "little" catch, less spa like. No hot towels or luxury, but there is a really cute container of lotion at every single station rarely ever used and never ever spa like.
