The woman working there was kind and welcoming, and you can tell she truly loves what she does. Every shelf is carefully arranged, from vintage books and candles to mugs, cards, and the cutest jewelry. I found a pair of earrings made with genuine pressed flowers and a plantable seed-paper card that grows wildflowers, both perfect gifts. Probably one of my favorite that I found here so far was Podesto's market. It reminded me of Draeger's. They have a lot of that one of a kind find specialty foods, great bakery, but also stocks the usual branded products. Pricing was inline with Safeway and Trader Joe's. What sets Podesto apart, their local neighborhood feel. I'll have to do a separate review on Podesto as I need to do more exploring. Really great market. Speaking off, I haven't had the chance to explore the whole Lincoln Center yet, but I did love their sitting area located at the Brickwalk. While there are still several great businesses like Grand Line Barbershop, Manny's CA Fresh and House of Shaw right off the Mile, it has also become home to many businesses that to me don't fit the vibe. The burned down Royal has been an eyesore and while it has finally been demolished, it stands vacant just inviting homeless to hang out there. I do enjoy the events that are held here like the monthly car show and I am hopeful that in the future more will be done do restore this once cool area of town.
