Alterations took far longer than promised despite my upcoming travel plans, and no styling was done after the adjustments were completed. Because the replacement wig now has to be mailed to me after I leave, I will not be receiving any of the custom fitting or styling I paid for. Management should look into their process, as staff seem stretched thin when handling custom alterations and repairs.

I was still pulling strands out myself, which shouldn't be happening after a service. There was no acknowledgment at the end of the service. When I went to give her a tip, she turned away to move on to the next client before I could even hand it to her, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I ended up going to another salon to fix the issue, and while they improved it, I had to spend more time and money correcting something that shouldn't have happened. I do wish I could be refunded.

I showed her my inspiration photo, but her response was basically "mhmm." The shampoo lasted maybe two minutes and didn't feel relaxing at all. When brushing my hair, she was extremely rough and fast and actually scratched the side of my cheek with the brush. The blowout was also disappointing. My hair wasn't properly sectioned, and because of my natural texture, I was left extremely frizzy. My roots were still wet/damp when I left, which made me feel like my hair wasn't even properly blow-dried. I also don't recall any serum or products being used to create the smooth, shiny finish I requested. Instead, I was repeatedly told my hair was "really dry" and "damaged," which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. Customer service was also lacking. At one point I was thirsty and had to ask for water myself--no one offered me anything. By the end, my hair was straight, frizzy, and nothing like my inspiration photo. Then so much texture spray was applied that my hair felt dirty and weighed down. I did tell her I wasn't happy, and she offered to add curls, but by that point I was so uncomfortable and disappointed that I just wanted to leave. I contacted the owner afterward, and she offered to redo my hair, which I appreciate. However, after my experience, I would not feel comfortable returning. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and focuses on better training, customer service, communication, and working with different hair textures.
