They are always able to get us in the same day when I call. They are very patient with my little man, he was 20 months at his last haircut. He has a hard time sitting still but they definitely have some tricks that work to keep him mostly contained. My little man loves the fish and that there is a movie playing he can watch from his chair. He is always so excited to get his lollipop and prize at the end! This is a great place for kids of all ages and affordable. We never have to wait and out in and out real fast! This will be our go to for many years ahead. read more

I brought my five year old in the day before school pictures. He was pretty cranky and desperately wanted to get a Mohawk (yes, the day before school pictures!) when we got there he was in a terrible mood and refused to sit. I thought we were going to have to suck it up and have his picture taken with his his now grown out Supercuts 'do. Then the owner and our stylist stepped in and they were able to get my son to sit and gave him his "mohawk" (really a regular haircut spiked up in a classic 90's faux-hawk). Though they will cater to adults, this place is definitely geared toward kids: bright colors, a TV on every counter, and prizes when you're done. My 5-year-old got a good cut from a nice person at a good price. UPDATE: Our second visit wasn't nearly as nice as the first. The stylist a different one than we had the first time) was rushed and impatient. She kept pushing my son's head from side to side. As a final insult, instead of letting him choose his prize when he was done, she picked for him, and it was pretty lame. A great place to have a very little one's first haircut. The staff is trained to work with little one's and they have been extremely patient and friendly the 5 times we have been there. The new location is great as they are no longer next to a tatoo parlor! They have a great, and inexpensive, keepsake item for a baby's first haircut as well. I would highly recommend them. read more

I brought my 11 month old son here for a haircut. It wasn't his first haircut. The first time, we had a friend who was a stylist cut it so he did amazing. Having said that, we had Jen cut his hair. She was very nice and good about keeping him occupied. He ended up crying part of the way through because he was sitting in the chair. She kept her calm for the most part until the end. She was rushing to try to finish him so I could pick him up. I understand that it's hard with kids especially babies. The location was nice with plenty of parking around. This place is CASH ONLY and it states it by the entrance. While checking out, the women wasn't too nice but she did have a baby in her hands. I did see a sign stating their hours are changing so be sure to check for this. Fair warning, the Yelp directions are incorrect. I'd like to say the precautions they took for covid were great but unfortunately that's where it ends. First time customers and the stylist didn't introduce herself. Plopped my daughter in the chair and asked how much she wanted cut off and that's where the conversation ends. She did however continue to visit with the other stylist and their clients during my daughters 20 minute chop shop. She sprayed my daughters hair with a water bottle and begun the cut I could've done myself. My daughter took 3 inches off and the back looks like I used dull kitchen scissors When we left I realized my daughters hair was uneven back we go inside to get it fixed. No apology. She supposedly didn't see it. She fixed it and away we go again. Wait until I notice once again it still uneven. We go back in again for a third time but by this time our 20 minute slot is up and she pawns us on to another stylist to fix her mistake. For a $20 hair cut that didn't include tip I can take her to a salon for a cut, wash, and style. If I wanted a in and out drive through service for my kids hair I would've taken her to Cost Cutters. read more

For our first experience it was good with twins. Liked the 1st cut diploma for each child. Glad we got there a few minutes before they opened as the place filled up quickly. I wished they would have made it clear that they only accept cash or check, no debit or credit. There was a sign on the door, but not posted on their website. So I had to run to scramble to find an ATM after because I didn't want to miss the experience of the first cut. Staff was nice but under pressure and rushed to get kids in and out. Missed getting a toy from the toy chest. The website made it seem like ithe waiting area would keep a child entertained if you had to wait. Just a bucket of toys and a koy fish tank that is only visible if you lean a child over the rails. We will probably return as there isn't but a handful of places to bring a child to get a haircut around Attleboro. read more

It is a little overwhelming when walking in between the kids in the chair and kids playing with the toys in the waiting area but Katie did a great job on my son. Being it his first haircut I didn't want much done but she listened to what I asked and my husband and I were both very pleased. We will be back. read more

Great place for little ones .. Had taken my toddler a few times to another local kids place for a cut and he hated it , had to wait long , tiny waiting space etc , stylists were quick and not warm with him at all .. Now I've brought him HERE I think about 5 times and he is so much more comfortable and staff is great with all the kids , welcoming and they have a fish tank , tons of toys and huge area to wait in which if you have little ones you know how nice that is ! Glad we chose this place. The staff was very friendly and I was shocked that he sat relatively still for the entire haircut and didn't cry once. We went to Stylin Kids for the first time today as our 3 and half year old son is not quite a fan of getting his hair cut. The experience was terrible. From the moment we enterered in we saw two ladies styling hair of two kids. Not one of them greeted us or even acknowledged that we are there. We signed our name and waited. Note we were the only people in the salon except the two girls getting their hair cut. We waited for half an hour and in the meantime one of the girls got her haircut finished but even after that no one acknowledged us or told us how long we would have to wait. Apparently they did not want to service us although there was no one else in the salon waiting. After so much insult and seeing my wife fuming with anger we ultimately had to leave . I would recommend Stylin Kids only to people who want to get insulted because you sure don't get a hair cut. Two hours wasted , insulted and no haircut to show for it. Bad service. And yeah remember to take cash.. they can take credit cards but due to costs they have a sign that they prefer cash !! read more

If I would have rated this after the first time we took our daughter I probably would have given this place 4-5 stars; however much like an earlier post, our follow up visits with a different hairstylist were not as pleasant. The original lady we had was older than the other one and she was fantastic. She had a great bedside manner and she knew exactly how to handle the kids. The other lady (who is younger) was terrible. She was impatient, rushed, and also pushed our son's head around as mentioned in another post; something that the original lady never did. It just seem liked she was frustrated to be working there. If you're going to be in this type of business you need to know how to handle children. It's not like we took our kids to an adult barbershop, we took them to a place that specializes in cutting children's hair. That said, you need to know how to deal with children. We have been here a few times and will continue going back for convenience purposes because we live around the corner, but we won't let the younger of the two ladies cut our kids' hair anymore.
