I've seen a million Zumiezes, and I've rocked them all…read more Well, almost. I've been to Utah Zumiezes at Fashion Place in Murray, Valley Fair in WVC, University in Orem, The Gateway in downtown SLC, Newgate in Ogden, Layton Hills, Cache Valley in Logan, the Park City Outlets store, the Outlets at Traverse Mountain store, The District in South Jordan, and South Town in Sandy. Now I can add the Provo Town Centre to my list. This tells me two things. One, Orange Julius is probably quaking in its boots as King of the Malls. Two, people REALLY like what Zumiez has to offer. I definitely get the snowboard element being we're so close to the mountain resorts. Zumiez has a great collection of boots, shop bindings, kits, tools, and snowboards. I think it really is geared toward the teenage badass: Get your snowboarding gear, and stay for the other awesome shirts, shoes, hoodies, flannels, jackets, sunglasses, jeans, and pants. The boldest part of their fashions (in my opinion) is the significant amount of Vans shoes and apparel. Yes, Zumiez is packed with skateboards and longboards (and the boarding crowd loves Vans), but a lot of the malls with Zumiez stores ALSO have a Vans store. I don't see a lot of redundancy, so I guess the thinking is you can never have enough Vans. As a wearer of their shoes, I tend to agree. So are their differences between stores? They are almost identical in some ways, like having a back area with tons of colorful skateboards and couches for lounging. This Zumeiz seems to be smaller and with a little less merch than in my personal fave (The Gateway). Still, I never met a Zumiez I didn't like. And I'm sure their are some rebellious teens who feel the same way.

Not my fave. It's located at Provo Towne Center mall, which just isn't the best location. However, I will say that if you like stake stuff, then you will probably have a different opinion, as many people who are into that like it.

One of the fun things about thrift stores is that you never know what you're going to get. Forrest…read moreGump would have a hay day! This one fits the bill and has all the categories that you'd expect: clothing, household goods, knick-knacks, toys, craft supplies, books and more. I feel like I've stepped back in time when I go in here-not only because the inventory is definitely vintage, but the prices are what I would have seen back 20 years ago. Seriously, some other thrift stores I've been to could take a lesson on pricing. I didn't find any treasures that I just HAD to have, but I did enjoy browsing for 20 minutes or so, imagining the life many of these objects had prior to ending up on the shelves of this store.

Yes, you…read moreexpect a thrift store to be cheap, but these are great prices for some excellent collectibles, clothes, and knick-knacks. First and foremost, however, it's a great place for locals on a budget to find clothes and accessories: Shirts, pants, blouses, hoodies, coats, ties, hats, sunglasses, purses, costume jewelry, and the rest. And BOOKS, my Lord, so many books ... fiction, how-to, cooking, religious, history, and a whole shelf just for kids. And then all the random stuff you love in a thrift store/boutique: Housewares, one-of-a-kind collectibles (big on figurines), as well as plenty of sewing gear. And great customer service from owner Robin Anderson ... and her cat as well! This place has the perfect name: You'll love this place the first TIME you go, and will love it AGAIN and again!

The technician said to keep wearing them for a few days to get used to them. But did as instructed and wore them for a few more days. Finally my wife went back and after my wife insisted they test the prescription, the discovered they were not the right prescription. So they called the lab and ordered another set with the correct prescription. TEN DAYS LATER she finally had the right pair of glasses. This past weekend, my wife thought she lost her glasses. She called to inquire about if there was any guarantee or if she could get a replacement on discount or something. She also wanted to know how long it would take to get a new pair of glasses. She was told there was still a TEN DAY lead time for a new pair of glasses. She was also told there for no insurance, discount or any price breaks. She would be charged the same amount (MORE THAN $400) for a replacement pair. She thanked them for answering their questions. The next business day we got a call from the place we had been at this past weekend saying they had found her glasses. We called in to Advanced Eye Care and left a message because it was after hours. We told them that we were super happy that we would not be needing any replacement glasses after all so not to worry about ordering a new pair. This was 24 hours after our phone call with them. The next day, today, my wife got a follow up phone call from them. They said that the glasses had been ordered and that they were almost completely finished making them. So she would have to pay anyway. She was flabbergasted that they had: 1 - Ordered a replacement pair of glasses without her coming in to sign anything. 2 - That not all of the sudden glasses are almost completed in 24 hours when previously they had estimated 10 BUSINESS DAYS 3 - Would not cancel the order they had made without her consent. I called in to discuss as English is not my wife's first language. I hoped they would be more reasonable. They were not. I talked to Karen first and she quickly transferred me to her manager, Mari. I was told by Mari that the lab has jumped on getting these glasses made and that because my wife had gotten glasses made at that label in the past. She said they already had her 'prescription on file. Also she said had a right to bill us whatever charges they wanted to because of the following: When my wife came in for her first eye exam she has supposedly signed something that agreed to let them charge us for anything they felt we had supposedly agreed to. She acknowledged that there was never any written agreement and that the whole thing was based of of Mari's understanding of one phone conversation. Mari said we would hear from their lawyers even though they were the ones who jumped the gun and ordered glasses without written authorization. She then asked me "I don't understand what you problem is?" Mari ended up hanging up on me mid sentence. Mari and I only spoke for less then 5 minutes total. Needless to say, We would not recommend them to anyone in the future. We have had a very negative experience!!!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!! They might order something for you and attempt to charge you for it.
