I come here for one thing only, The Steak Sub with grilled onions and mushrooms. It is a huge overstuffed footlong made on the grill, with tons of fresh toppings to choose from. It's not cheap around $14 with drink, chips and tip, but well worth it. I have tried the Chicken Bomb it was ok. The cold subs are good, but I am loyal to Publix cold subs. This place is small and fast paced at lunch time, so you better know your order when it's time to go. Service is well-oiled, quick and friendly. There is not much to the two single story buildings one for Custard (Amazing) and one for subs. This place is perfect for take out and is the only place that satisfies a true Steak Sub craving. Although it is neighbor to Sonny's Famous Steak Hoagies that were given mention to on Food Networks, Diner's Drive in or Dives it does not compare to the Sub Centers Steak Sub. read more

Wow!!!! I heard of this lil spot and finally stopped by. My first time had a bbq steak n cheese... I wasn't very impressed with the taste and really greasy. But the bread was very soft, veggies super fresh and it was an humongous overfilled sandwich... With all that and the reviews I told myself I'll come back n try the tuna. So today I came back.... This place is awesome always fresh veggies and service is quick and on point. I wonder will they ever mess up my order. The place is always packed , I've tired the steak,which is serious if you make it a bomb (double meat) the girls there always give great service even if its crazy at times. I have ordered from Sub Center for years and have never had an issue until I started using their app. If I order cookies it never fails that I get a call (1/2 an hour after I place my order) that they no longer have the cookies I picked. Okay, fine the first, time but not every time. So lesson learned, don't order cookies. Today I placed an order and chose not to order cookies since they never have them anyway. Well at least not when I order from the app. It's been two hours and I still don't have my food. However, I did received call from the driver and she tells me that they don't know what I want on my sandwich. Now, you can tell she feels bad and is uncomfortable because she keeps apologizing to me in a whisper and repeating my whole order to the guy in the back. Not only do I verbally give her my order I also send her a screenshot of my completed order with my topping from the app. 30 mins later I received a call from Sub Center and they tell me no one has paid for the order yet. After I inform the guy on the phone that my credit card has already been charged and that there is no way to complete the order using the app without paying, he continues to tell me it hasn't been paid for. Then you hear another guy in the back yelling my name and the guy in the phone tells me "oh. ok. Never mind" and just hangs up on me. I have never been as disappointed as I am now with Sub Center. I will be deleting their app and taking a break from them for a long while. Not only has it been 2 hours since I placed my order the guy on the phone was rude. If this is the way this business is heading I don't want to be a part of it. I wish them the best and hope that they work with their staff on guest service and work on their app. Oh, I forgot, when I went to check the app to see if it had a status update it said my food was delivered and this was after I hung up with the drive when she had to replace my order. read more

I opened a bag of Harvest Cheddar SunChips after leaving. I wondered why they tasted a little zingy until I looked at the date. "Guaranteed fresh until Jun 2." It's Jun 26th! I was horrified.
