Holy Molly Subs! Deli boys know what they're doing! I accidentally stumbled to this deli when my local coffee shop wasn't open. I parked in a nearby plaza to figure out where I'd do and Subs sounded perfect for lunch. I got the meatball parmigiana for myself and the loaded deli meat sub (number 2) for my husband. Both toasted to perfection. Man! The ingredients were fresh and so delicious. I really encourage you to stop by here if you're anywhere near Davie. The staff is friendly and patient. I also did like their potato salad. Just wouldn't be for anyone that doesn't enjoy a sweet relish style.

Yuck I literally just got home from deli along sub. I ordered my sub on Tuesday Jan 20th at 11:45am. Got home and opened it up. This is what I saw. Yep nope I am not eating it. $13 later for a small sub, chips, and a fountain drink. Nope not eating it. Idk if it was good or not but no thanks.

Been to this place twice and it is a solid four stars. Today we had the egg and bacon on a roll with cheese. It was excellent and it hit the spot. Last week we had the tuna salad sub. Also a very good veggies were fresh and tuna salad is better than Publix and Subway. Will return to try the other subs. Service was friendly and with a smile.

Deli Boys sub shop has been at this location for many years. I ordered a large Italian sub without tomato with extra oil and vinegar. Took a nice pic of my sub.

Yes there is tuna under there

I wish I could say I loved it...but I didn't. The experience starts when your "greeted" by the person who takes your order. She seemed bored and annoyed. After she checked off what I wanted she moved to my husband's order. I ordered a 6 inch tuna with provolone and a bag of chips. The tuna tasted more like mayo than tuna and the provolone was just slapped on top of the tuna making it a little hard to eat. When my number was called my chips were missing. I asked for them and the person behind the counter looked at me like I was trying to get something for free. My extra pickles were missing and so was the vinegar. Thankfully that was on the table. My husband's chef salad was huge and came with a tiny salad dressing. It looked fresh but was mostly lettuce and the peppers had stems on them. All in all it wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best. It's better than subway but not as good as laspadas.

Great spot for a great sub! Service was quick and seating area was very clean. I came here during my lunch break. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

#2 Ham,Capicola and Provolone Cheese Half

7-14-22 12:30PM Running errands at lunchtime so I turn to Yelp to find a sandwich shop and I go and I find this place. It is the same plaza where I had my errand. Once inside there is a long line so gives me time to figure out what to get. I decide on the #2 Ham,Cappicola, and Provolone Cheese got it with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar with sweet peppers and pepper. Also got a small potato salad to go with the sandwich. They have Coca Cola Fountain drinks so I got a Coke to go. Once ordered and paid for they give you a number. Mine was #77 in the meantime I got my drink before you know it order ready with fork already in the bag. For a quiet shopping center this place was busy. Your choices in this area are limited for fast either them or McDonald's but been there done that another day. So get back to my office first thing I taste the potato salad. It was disappointing the kind you get in the deli counter at a supermarket although it is edible. The sandwich compared to Laspada's is definitely not in the same league. The Provolone Picante Cheese might be better and more flavorful. The bread not memorable either. I love Mom and Pop's plus they are from my same county in NJ thus the extra star for a four star review. Will go back and will try something else in the future. Definitely will pass on the #2 again.

Ordering online was easy, and pickup itself was quick and straightforward. However, when I got home, I realized that both tuna platters were missing the bagel chips--so essentially I paid $17 each for just two scoops of tuna. I called the restaurant and was told they were out of bagel chips. That explanation raised more questions than it answered. If an item is unavailable, why not notify the customer? A quick call, or even mentioning it at pickup, would have gone a long way. I would have happily substituted for a bagel or chosen something else. Instead, I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant. By that point, I was understandably frustrated, and the response at the counter didn't help--the staff seemed indifferent. They did replace the missing items with bagels, which I appreciate, but the overall experience was disappointing. I used to really enjoy Marian's under the previous ownership and was a regular customer. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, the quality of service seems to have declined. We decided to give it another try, but this experience confirmed that it's just not worth it anymore. Disappointing, because this used to be a go-to spot.

The sandwiches arrive like legends overstuffed, unapologetic, and bursting with flavor. One bite and you're transported straight to your grandmother's kitchen, where the secret ingredient was always love... and yes, a generous whisper of schmaltz. This is the kind of place where the taste of grandmother's cooking triumphs over pretty furniture every time. Who needs chandeliers when the corned beef sings? And then, the matzo ball soup pure poetry in a bowl. Golden, comforting, restorative. It warms not just your body but something deeper, something older. One spoonful and you pause, the second makes you smile, and by the third you are quietly plotting your return. It doesn't just satisfy it calls you back, like a melody you didn't know you missed. The room itself feels like a well-loved novel soft around the edges, rich with character, inviting you to linger. No noise, no nonsense, no pretension. Just the gentle rhythm of conversation, the turning of newspaper pages, and the universal language of people enjoying honest food. The staff are not just servers they are stewards of tradition. Warm, attentive, and proud, they carry forward something increasingly rare: care without pretense, hospitality without script. And here is the truth this is not a place you visit just once. This is a place you return to, again and again. Because like a fine old wine, it reveals itself differently each time. One visit you fall in love with the soup, the next with the sandwich, and then with the feeling... the unmistakable sense that you've found something real. I usually order the same thing -- I'm a creature of habit -- the grilled chicken sub, which comes with a bag of Lay's chips. It's a simple sandwich, but it's made great every single time. One thing I really like is how customizable it is. I always get mine the "Italian Style," which includes lettuce, tomatoes, onions, hot and sweet peppers, salt, black pepper, oregano, oil, and vinegar. I also add mayo, mozzarella cheese, and have it on ciabatta bread. Along with my sandwich, I usually get a side of portobello mushrooms. I love mushrooms, and this place seasons them in such a mouthwatering way. I originally ordered them to add into my sandwich, but honestly, they taste amazing on their own. To me, this is more of a pizzeria/casual Italian spot. Personally, it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way for if it wasn't nearby -- but that's just my preference. It's in no way a knock to the restaurant. I go because it's close to my house, it's consistent, the food is good, and the service is honestly amazing. Speaking of service -- hands down, it's some of the best I've received. The last time I was there, about a month ago, I got home and realized they had forgotten my side of portobello mushrooms. I wasn't upset; I was exhausted from work and didn't plan on calling about it. But not even 30-40 minutes later, the restaurant called me, apologized, and said they were going to deliver it. Within 10 minutes, I had my mushrooms at my doorstep. That truly went above and beyond for me, and it's the kind of service that keeps me coming back.
