I don't like to leave bad reviews but this place needs to improve. It used to be one of the best bakery to go to for breakfast. A few months I said I wouldn't come back the quality of the food was not that so good.. today I said let me try again. Again. Very disappointed. I had to go back because they got my order WRONG. I clearly said please BACON WELL done and this is what I received.. fries were soggy. The toast was so hard.... Nothing was good only the closed soda can.

We stop here every time in town for pasties and Sammie's. We get the quesitos the pastel de carne the empanadas de carne and a tornillo. This time did a medianoche instead and the cubano. The fresh oj is so legit we got an extra one. Service is quick and they replace items often.

Miramar Bakery is the best Cuban bakery! Located in Hollywood - this location is really beautiful. We came here early in the AM and got to stand and admire the beautiful artwork inside. My husband ordered a Cafe con Leche (coffee with milk) and I got the same but iced. And uff the iced cafe con leche is really good. You get a good balance of taste of coffee and milk together. We usually get their breakfast special of buttered Cuban bread with eggs, fries & coffee. Staff is always so sweet and prepare everything really quick.

Can't believe this hidden gem has been right under my nose the whole time, I've lived here my whole life. They have a full menu of options and delicious pastries. I got an iced coffee and a ham and cheese croissant with a guava cheese pastry and they were delicious. The coffee was pretty sweet but yummy, and the croissant was pressed hot and thin with a sweet coating on the outside. The pastry was also so flaky and delicious, i sat outside to enjoy it they have more than enough seating inside and out. The food and coffee came out pretty quick and the place was clean. Mostly Spanish speaking people working here as it's a Cuban bakery.

This is definitely my go to spot for breakfast and lunch. A quick grab on the go always delicious. Service is great, don't be scared of the line. They go pretty quick their places to sit inside and outside definitely a hidden treasure.. The prices are reasonable. Today we got chicken and meat empanadas and ham croquettes. I live in Palm Beach so I always grab enough to take home for when I wanna snack during the weekend.. Definitely worth the drive down south for me.

Came in on a Saturday morning and phew this place is LOUD. I think the way it was remodel with an open plan was a great idea but you could really hear everyone's conversations bouncing of the walls. Thankfully there is outside seating so you only hear the noise inside i think some wall foaming might help but anyways the reason why we really came is for the FOOD!! Everything look super fresh, I order the breakfast with 2 eggs, ham, and home potatoes. It came with coffee and Cuban toast under $10 it's definitely a deal. Got some chicharrón and it was warm crunchy and salty the perfect snacky snack Brought home some guava and cheese pastries that were so full of flavor and the perfect combination. The staff was nice and helpful, they kept the line moving very fast.

Food was delicious, from appetizer to main entree. Recommendations were made and I went with all of them. Pork belly chunks that were seasoned with salt and pepper, and lemon was added afterward for a little more punch in the flavor. Shrimp creole was delicious. The red beans and rice mix makes you want to keep having more and mixing it all together gives you a flavorful punch in your mouth. Mofongo, aka , masked green plantains are only for those looking for something a little dry with flavor. Mines had steak and it was drizzled with mojito sauce and oil. Our server was excellent and recommended flipping it over to have the juice flow into the mofongo which she went ahead and did.. steak was well done and when mixed in had a great combination of flavor.. Ambiance feels like a local P.R spot, flags, art, music, and very fun ambiance. Enjoyed it. Definitely when I'm in the area will come again..

The food was mixed . - Alcapurrias : 5 stars crunchy, juicy, proper size and flavor. - pork chunks mofongo: 4 stars, great flavor. Huge pork portion. - shrimp mofongo creole sauce: 3 stars sauce was on the saltier side and once it reached the bottom of the mongo it was "just too much" - churrasco (kids): 3 stars. A bit overcooked (kid refused to eat it) but it was decent flavor and tenderness. - beans: 3 stars, too salty - white rice : 1 star, felt dry and grainy like day old rice from the fridge.

It's rare to find a spot that draws you back 24 hours later, but this place is a total standout in Miami. Despite having a larger group this time, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The service was excellent from start to finish--attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced for a family dinner. We kicked things off with the Cuban sampler, which was the perfect introduction to the menu and got everyone excited for the main event. Every dish that hit the table was a hit: the Red Snapper was incredibly fresh, and the Chicharron de Pollo had that perfect crunch. My wife really enjoyed the Chicken Milanesa, but for me, the Paella was the star of the show--rich, authentic, and packed with flavor. It's safe to say everything was delicious yet again. We've officially added this to our "must-visit" list for every trip to Miami. If you're looking for a meal that feels both high-quality and welcoming, you can't beat this spot. We'll definitely be back!

Needed to do errands in North Miami, so Little Havana came up as a place to go for Cubanos. It has…read morethree locations in Miami, with this one in North Miami being the original, opened in 1991. We dined in, and the visit blew away the food from the previous week. I really like Cuban sandwiches, so will be something my brother and I keep seeking out during short visits to Miami. We had a one-day rental car, so found Little Havana Restaurant, coming a bit after peak lunch time. It's on a major street, with surface angled parking in the back. There are a lot of wild birds in the area, with their guano being everywhere outside. It's a big dining area inside, and we were immediately directed to a prime location with views of their small lush adjacent green space, and the birds that live there. Elizabeth was our server, with water and complementary rolls being immediately offered by helpers. She and her team were great throughout, offering suggestions and bringing the food nice and hot. We ordered off the Happy Hour menu (11:30 - 18:00 M-F) and the Lunch Special Menu (11:30 - 16:00). We were greatly satisfied with every dish Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, appetizer size ($14.99) - 5 jumbo tail-on shrimp, sauteed in a scampi type sauce. It's what you expect when you douse good shrimp with a butter garlic sauce. The appetizer does not come with rice/beans, but we had plenty of it from the other dishes...loved spooning the sauce over the rice while eating. Roast Pork Lunch ($12.99) - what a deal. A dish of pulled pork with a big piece of fried pork skin on top...reminded me of the Filipino lechon, or even the Hawaiian kalua pork, with the tenderness of the mean. It came with a big scoop of rice and a bowl of red beans. Lamb Shank ($18.49) - This was recommended by Elizabeth when asked by my brother, what he shouldn't miss. It's a Cuban special, cooked in wine sauce. It was a big piece, still on the bone, coming with a big plate of rice and fried plantains. He enjoyed it, though he was struggling a bit at the end. Cuban Sandwich ($12.49) - A full size Cuban sandwich, cut in half. It had been grilled on a sandwich press with a little oil, resulting in the cuban bread being crispy at the top. It had the right mix of that same delicious pulled pork, along with ham, melted swiss, mustard and pickle slices. It was very good, great value for the price. Paying was done at the top, and we intentionally did not take any leftovers. There is a framed newspaper article from 1991 in the lobby, where you can read more about their origins.
