Picking 1 star because there's nothing lower. I ordered a Seibon CF trunk on February 20th because the website said 19 in stock and the item ships same day. Here we are on March 27th and the trunk still hasn't shipped. I called two weeks ago and was told the trunk would ship the next day. I am usually never the person to EVER take my customer service issues to social media or even the one to complain about it either. However, I have NEVER been treated the way I have been treated by SubiSpeed with the unprofessional customer service I have received. I ordered Tom (my boyfriend) a birthday gift back in April, in hopes that I would receive the product by his birthday or even a couple weeks after-- because, hey, I purchased the product a couple weeks prior to his birthday. And I was okay with having to wait because I ordered the product later than I should have. I had received a $10 product in the mail from SubiSpeed as an attachment for his seat belts but never received the seat belts in the mail. I had only got one tracking number from SubiSpeed, which I thought was weird because where's the other products? I emailed SubiSpeed in hopes of receiving a tracking number for the remainder of Tom's gift (the seat belts). I got the pleasure of emailing back in forth with Woo. He told me that the only way I would receive the product quicker was if he flew to Japan himself and put them in his backpack. I thought....well, that's a weird way of speaking to customers and brushed it off. Woo told me that due to COVID, it would take an additional 6-8 weeks from my order date to receive this product. So being someone who works in the health field, I totally understood this and told Woo to not cancel the order because I still wanted the product for Tom's late birthday gift. After 10 weeks and still not receiving anything, I emailed Woo to see if there was any updates/tracking numbers... anything. I stated I thought it was ridiculous that I haven't gotten any confirmation and expressed my frustration with the situation. He responds with the following email threads. He stated that he felt as though I was just "venting". Is this because I am a girl ordering car parts that now it becomes that I am just venting? Since when was it not okay for a woman to have equally the amount of interest and knowledge in cars than men. This is not okay. Woo said that I relented on waiting for the product (which is the not the case and have receipts to back it up) and he would offer me a refund in the beginning. He told me that I needed to wait 6-8 weeks because of COVID and that I needed to be patient. Who treats their customers this way? I expressed my concerns about a product that I bought in April and still haven't received. Woo kindly offered me a $50 gift card... for what? I haven't even gotten my refund/product because this is still ongoing. I will never shop at SubiSpeed ever again or ever recommend them to anyone. But thanks for "trying to be nice" Woo. read more

Recently got a torque solutions oil pan from them. Here is my review of the entire process. #1 Throtl had the best price but legit suck - I tried them in the past complete trash. They will say it's in stock and it isnt then you are stuck waiting as they hold your money for weeks until the part arrives. They are too busy building cars you youtube it seems. Maperformance is great, they didn't have this pan in stock so I tried SubiSpeed. I ordered it because it says that it was not backordered - well I used the chat feature after reading these reviews - worried that it would take a long time before it arrived. Travis on chat was very helpful - he said it was back ordered 30 days out - I asked to have it cancelled as I wanted the car done before then. Travis said no problem he would have to contact the company to cancel then once that processes could refund me. He said he would email me. Well a day goes by - no email - I ask again for an update via their email feature (24-48hr response), probably being a pita to them at this point but I'm trying to stay ahead of it. Then I get an email from ups that a package from torque solutions arrives tomorrow. I was like sweet - I ping'd their chat and the rep (sorry forget the name this time) She was helpful and located that the shipping was from Torque Solutions. Package arrived and all is good. Some critiques - maybe when it ships subispeed should also update me to eliminate confusion on my end - I was waiting for a cancellation as well as was going to order a pan from another place with a faster eta. Just recently made a large purchase with them. I did manage to find some parts cheaper elsewhere so when it came time to do the refund it did take some time about 3-4 days to get a response and RMA code, but they were very professional and courteous. They didn't charge a restocking fee at all and as soon as they had received my returned products my refund process was issued almost immediately. I know there are a lot of negative reviews, but for the most part, this business tries its hardest to get subi parts out as quickly as they can and they truly do try to resolve problems that most of us face. I would advise you not to call and enter a support ticket, you will get a response a lot quicker than trying to call. Overall happy with my purchases, my Perrin downpipe, IAG AOS, boomba, and air intake all fit perfectly and were easy to install! read more

Purchased a few things from subispeed. Ordered a set of smoked tail lights. Installed them. Looked great. One gets damaged. Call them to see if I could order just one. They tell me email order#, part number ect. No answer. So I call, and Iam told to submit a warranty claim with VLAND the manufacturer. So I remind the genius on the other end of this useless phone call that it can't be warranty, it's broken!! I purchased it from subispeed not VLAND. Ordered paint matched OLM splash guards. Received the items relatively quick. Attempted to install items and discovered that the double sided tape provided was not sufficient to provide a good bond to the rear portion of the vehicle. So I tried some 3m VHB double sided tape. This did not provide a solution. Part still did not fit and gapped very widely in the back. I removed the splash guards, repackaged them and emailed Subispeed. Subispeed responded saying they would not accept returns because they were installed and needed pictures to ensure they are installed correctly. For them to be returned on warranty. So I once again installed them this time using even more VHB double sided tape. Still did not adhere or fit properly. Sent emails and pictures. Subispeed responded almost 2 weeks later saying they are not able to be returned ed and that the manufacturer recommends using VHB double sided tape (which was used). I have left a negative review of the product on Subispeed website and it is not showing although I received an email asking me to verify my email... which was done. On the page for the product, Subispeed advertises "returns within 30 days" yet they refuse to accept the return of a legitimately poor quality product. read more

I have ordered probably over 2k worth car parts and items fromm Subispeed.com I will never order parts from them again. See the problem isn't that the stuff they sell isn't good or prices being fair. The problem is their horrible customer service when something goes wrong. I have been in customer service for over 30 years and I will tell you its not what you sell that makes your company successful its how you deal with issues when you get them, reason its called "Customer Service." Well Subispeed has no level of customer service. In particular Brandon and Mandy at Subispeed. Not sure if their higher up is not giving them proper direction or what but regardless of what happens its just apologies always followed by excuses. I will give you my most recent transaction, I order parts Sunday. I know they are close so I would assume they would process and ship within 24 to 48 hours during normal business hours. Guess what it didn't ship for 4 days after the order was placed. When I inquired about it I got an email from Mandy making excuses that their computer system was down and they were backed up on orders. How about an email letting me know. How about getting back to basics of informing valued customers what is going on. Nope, nothing, only reason I got an apology and excuse was because I emailed support@ their website. Consumer beware. They don't give 2 crap about your satisfaction. They only care about putting your money in their pockets. I won't mention Subispeed's competitors here because i'm sure they will try to flag and remove my feedback but you should do a search on google for a better company that genuinely cares about you and your satisfaction. This is not them. Subispeed you will never earn my business again. look up my account. I guarantee you will see that I spent over $2k on stuff for my forester. When I get my STI I will buy elsewhere. Only reason they are somewhat successful is they youtube their stuff and endorse other youtubers to sell their crap. Don't fall for it. I've made mulitple purchases through Subispeed. Sadly, they lost another customer. Let's start with the good... shipment usually arrives as expected, but I did have one order that was late. Also, I purchased the v2 tail lights and it was defected. Filed a warranty claim and issue was handled within a week (thank you Woo!). At this point I was all for Subispeed....until.... The bad, Brian C., this guy is helpful until something goes wrong. If you are too lazy to read, be warned, DO NOT COMPLETE A TRANSACTION WITH PAYPAL. DO NOT LET THEM SEND YOU AN INVOICE. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY AN ITEM IS IN STOCK. 12/10/19: I was looking to price match Rally Sports Direct (the same company). Brian C got me a pricematch right away on an item that showed in stock on website. Next, he sent me an invoice via Paypal and I made the payment same day. 12/11/19: Brian C confirmed the item was in stock 12/12/19: Brian C Confirmed order would be shipped in the next day or two. 12/16/19: I still received no confirmation that the item was processed and shipped out. 12/21/19: I sent in a cancellation request and had no response since December 12th. 12/21/19: Same day, dispute filed with Paypal 12/23/19: Brian C finally replied and said he could not issue a refund until the dispute was resolved on Paypal. Brian C then throws a low jab by saying "lesson learned I guess." Here is his statement...this is not customer service, "It may take several weeks before the account can be refunded due to Pay Pal's dispute policy.  It would have been a whole lot easier for you to contact us first before jumping the gun, lesson learned I guess." 2/3 Fast forward to today (with many in between follow ups from me) over a month later, and still no refund. Brian C continues to throw jabs. He says Paypal has a hold on the funds... I spoke with Paypal and the hold was lifted when I resolved the dispute. Subispeed uses Christmas and Tax season as an excuse to have bad customer service. Brian C, is messed up for not refunding my money. Brian C has dealt with Paypal disputes previously, so he asked for me to resolve the dispute and tricked me into believing I would receive a refund. Do not do business with Subispeed...there are other companies with better customer service and better prices. read more

Bought some Emblem overlays for my 2020 Subaru wrx . They were shipped to me got 4 emblems total . But come to find out they where for the crosstrek. I used 1 of the overlays and contacted subispeed about it and asked if I could return them for the right one and they told me they cant except return because they have already been used . I told them that i only used one the rest of them are still good . Guess they need the money on some overlay stickers . I was going to start buying other parts for my subi from them but I dont want to buy something more expensive and get screwed on not being able to return it . Yes I do admit it was a mistake on my part didnt see that it said crosstrek overlays. But they should at least trade them out for the right ones ! If I could give this company and it's "customer service" a negative number I definitely would. I received two pieces of expensive carbon fiber products for my STi consecutively. I sent an email with pictures explaining the issue and asked for at least a partial refund. These products, carbon fiber fender inserts and hood scoop, were extremely blemished and damaged. They should've been scrapped but instead they charged me $700+ and sent them to me thinking I wouldn't notice. I was told they'd give me $100 refund so now I'm sending these garbage parts back to them and I have to pay to ship them back. I've bought a lot of product from this "company" but I'll never buy from this shady, corrupt and unprofessional "company" ever again. I'd definitely stay away from Subispeed. I was looking to update my 2011 STi with the 4th cylinder cooling mod. Order item was manufactured by Torque Solutions. Anyway I needed to get the job done over the weekend. I sealed the fitting to block. Waited 24 hour for cure time. When I went to connect the mod hose it was too short. By 3 inches. I was committed with the parts installed. I contacted Subiespeed ( as a first time customer). I was willing to meet halfway of the cost of the kit. However they were unable. So it sucks. But make sure the manufacturer spent the extra $.44 to cut the heater hose the correct length. read more

Like others left , I purchased a set of wheels and center caps that match my rims. This is my first time buy from them. Rims came in nicely packed ( looks like directly from the manufacturer not from SUBISPEED). Was happy with the speed and how fast I received my first shipment from them. A week later, out my rims on, my caps on, found out that there is only 1 center cap instead of 4, so I went back to check with my invoice , did pay for 4 caps. Check my packing list, only 1 shipped, so I started to drop emails to their customer service. Not only they respond pretty late, sometimes 2-3 days , but problem never solved . 1, they said they will check with the warehouse , got back to me a week later, said they were out of stock and would take 3 weeks to ship me new 2. 3-4 weeks later, never heard anything from them, so I drop an email again , this time said will take another 2 weeks Don't be fooled by their nice website and product intro video , their service can't keep up, be very careful with these guys read more

I contacted customer support and was basically told oh well. I then went to post a review but their reviews on their page are monitored and negative ones removed. Absolutely no customer service. I had an issue with the install because the hardware sent was wrong and I got no response. Fortunately I had bolts/nuts needed that were not sent in the kit as stated to complete the install of the fog lamps. Second no add a fuse was included in kit as stated and I found an old one I had sitting in my garage so I was able to complete the install. NO install instructions were included and the only install video they posted was only somewhat useful for my application. They sell items for Subaru that are not specific to the individual vehicle model as the advertise on their website so clearly they have not done the necessary research so the items you buy may or may not work even though they state they fit your vehicle. Shop somewhere else they do not deserve your business. read more

I'd like to take a moment and leave a service review on Subispeed and I hope they don't gaff off this review like they do with their customer service and their lack of inventory. I get it, life's hard, work is hard, taking orders from all your Subifans are rough. Conversion is weak due to lack of money to inventory ratio. But to create the best experience possible, at least for your customer service department, please for the love of Christ, put some competent customer service representatives in that department. So when the majority of your customers that don't know the true meaning of "Ships from factory" and your rep fails to say that the item is back-ordered or items held due to it shipping from the same factory, you can save yourself some headaches and pissed off customers and have professional customer service reps ASSIST customers in understanding the situation. One thing I don't like are liars and those that don't know how to keep others informed. You're dealing with peoples money here. Not once did your rep tell me that my items were back ordered but they said they did through email...I have email traffic to prove that the items "Back-ordered" were NOT mentioned before purchase. I was patiently waiting, continuously updating my tracking number to see if my items moved. I had to RESEARCH my self through your super slow website what the real meaning of "Ships from factory" means and let me tell you...you all like to save your butts through policies and disclaimers rather than putting your customer first. When over thousands of dollars are spent in parts and trying to figure out why my items aren't coming in yet, it's a problem. Some are patient more than others, but the principle here is that your company should know what the term communication means. Your customer service reps are the face of the company believe it or not. It's who the customers will talk to and ultimately gain an impression on the company. It's not "Kevin from subispeed" ...He moves/promotes products...that's his purpose...he makes cheap chinese made parts look real nice, but the real workhorses are those that deal with admin and sales operations. If that's trash, your company is trash and it reflects with your current star rating, sad to say. Clearly it does not phase you all... I can only imagine if you pissed off the wrong person to contact the BBB. Now here's the real issue that I think you should really consider taking action on...I have hashed out the issues with my item through email traffic that I had to initiate, fortunately, your customer service rep was able to clear a few things out and decided to process a "refund" since it was taking too long. Unfortunately, your rep said that once the company is contacted, it will take 3-5 business days to process the refund. 3-5 business days go by...NO REFUND. I ended up taking the INITIATIVE and contacting the rep about this situation and straight up said that it was their fault and forgot to process the refund. What if I never sent an email to your rep? Would I have been forgotten completely? Do your reps have any "Following up" administrative procedures? I am so perplexed that someone is getting paid to forget about their customers. So here I am...close to a month since the date I ordered my items, dissatisfied, and having to wait another week (hopefully) until I get my refund. What are you all going to do about this? What is your administrative strategy? I am curious...Can't be the guy to tell you all that your leadership, if you have any, needs to train your guys...but I think that training your guys should be considered. SLOW ship times and deceptive advertising. 10% discount ads reads in small fine print "some restrictions apply" but no where does it state the brands or items either on the ad or website. They didnt honor it for my order of two completely different company products and brands. They can just make up the exclusions for anything, which is what they probably do. First time I bought from them I never got a tracking number and when I reached out to them, I received a reply saying, "Item is backed up, it says on the website" even though it clearly did not say that on their site. Whatever though, I just let it go and waited for my tracking number to get emailed to me, which I never got but got my product about a month later. Second time I purchased from them, same issue , never got a tracking number and I reached out to them after three weeks. Found out they never even took a look at my order. I used to love subispeed up until recently. I ordered a set of coilovers for my 19' STi, but later found out that they in fact did not fit. So I returned them, got my refund, and purchased the faction fab coilovers. After not receiving an email confirming the order had been processed and/shipped for about a week, I decided to email them. A day goes by... nothing. 3 days...nothing. But on the 5th day, they responded. I replied immediately to see if I could have a back and forth convo with them to get the info I needed. Nothing. Another few days go by after I emailed them again asking the ETA of my coils. They just responded, today, saying that the ETA for my coils is December 23rd......4 months from now. I honestly dont know what to say @subispeed, you've really outdone yourselves this time. @Subispeed definitely needs to improve their infrastructure and get everything dialed in a bit more to be able to function effectively. I'm extremely disappointed in @Subispeed for doing this, almost half a year for some flippin coilovers. I'm so over it. read more

I ordered the V2 Tailights along with the Remark axle back exhaust from Subispeed. I was emailed shortly after I made my order by Subispeed and they let me know that the exhaust would be on back order, and I would like to proceed to wait for the back order or modify my cart and get a refund. I got both my V2 Tail lights and my refund for the exhaust 3 days later. I am happy with how quick and easy they made modifying my order. The V2 tailights look SO SICK! read more

I've always been able to reach someone when I email or call and I've been happy with the products and the shipping time. In fact, the only reason I am leaving this review is because of all the bad reviews and to let people know that for me, they've always been great. Refused to cancel order when fog light went back ordered because "the adapter had already been processed" Refunded the fog light but not the shipping for it. Charged me $30 for a useless adapter.
