We had a diagnostics done at the dealership and we were quoted $2900 so we called around to get quotes, they first quoted us at $1200 so when they told us that we still needed to pay for another diagnostics we thought for that much savings it's worth it. We paid for a second diagnostic for them to then turn around and tell us the dealership diagnosis was right and that it would be $2800. What a waste of our time and money. People were nice, and I'm sure the work they do is quality but this was a waste of our money and a blunder of a situation. read more

My friends and multiple friends steered me here. They got me in within a few days. When they called me with my jeeps "diagnosis," they went through the problem. Mark answered all my questions. He went above and beyond trying to locate the part for me.....not his fault-the part i need is on back order everywhere. We were told our vehicle would be looked at on Thursday the 18th, No one followed up or called us so we had to call. We ended up with your after hours phone person who told us she would have the technician call us. This never happened. We called multiple times to try to get an update. Once was told the tech wasn't working the day we called. Finally we got one call from a technician who wanted approval to take off the valve cover. And in that conversation he said they "had to replace the starter" (I was never asked about replacing the starter) he quoted just under $500 for programming the PCM (which is what it was brought in for) and some diag if the vehicle doesn't start after the reprogram. Again no one called to follow up after a week we were done with the run around and said we were coming to get the vehicle. When we picked it up the original starter wasn't put back on it was put in the bed of the truck, where rain got to it, the left air intake was off and put in the bed of the truck, and the valve covers are loose. They were trying to charge us for remove and replace the starter they never got approval for until we called them out on it. They hadn't approval to remove it, let alone leave it tossed in the back of the truck. To leave the vehicle undone, (not how it arrived at your shop) is incredibly disappointing not to mention the liability that leaves on your hands. Seems to me that they were just throwing parts at it. Not exactly ASE Master Tech work. We got the truck in a real shop that follows up with us, turns out you guys never put our spark plugs back in the truck either. Called to speak to the owner as we got a text that was likely automated asking how our service was, we were told "that it's customary to leave the vehicle with uninstalled parts, and that they will find our spark plugs" and the owner has yet to call us back. Severe lack of communication, amazingly unprofessional, severe lack of technician skill. read more

I brought my car in because it needed a new strut, control arm, and oil pan. They told me they could do it all. Then they evaluated my car and told me that I needed a new subframe (they said the subframe was bent) and other parts. I told them to just fix the oil pan and that's it and they refused to work on my car because I didn't want them to do all that work because I could do some of it myself. Ended up having to pay $40 for them to not even work on my car. I ended up fixing it all myself and they lied about the subframe being bent. It was perfectly fine read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. we spent almost $2000 to figure out what was wrong with our van and get it fixed. After fixing wires and replacing the PCM the van went right back to what it was doing prior to them fixing it. Called them to see about getting it looked at and mike (assuming the owner) told us that unless it's the PCM they would charge us to troubleshoot it and figure out what's wrong. Horrible customer service. Brought my car in and nobody contacted me the entire three weeks it was there. I called three different times to ask for an update and the response I got every time was that they didn't have the notes and would call me back. No one ever got back to me. When I went to pick up my car, they still had the balls to charge me full price despite the horrible customer service. Also just passed the blame onto the mechanics rather than taking ownership. I am from Kansas City but travel to Des Moines for business. Last summer the water pump in my truck failed. I did a search and found these guys. Reviews were good. I gave them a try. Service was excellent and Mark one of the service writers was very good at keeping me posted on the repair and cost. They were able to get the repair done quickly and even gave me a ride from where I was working to pick up the truck. Fast forward to December I had finished my work and was leaving Des Moines when my truck developed a massive oil leak under the hood. Had it towed to them and settled in to a nearby hotel to wait for the news. Got a call from Mark with bad news. I had burned a piston. Walked over to pay my bill. It was very reasonable. I asked if they could store the truck while I made arrangement to tow it back to KC. I offered to pay storage charges but they said no need. They were very helpful and went beyond what I expected. I gave em' a call and within 30min they came and picked me and my car up, where we then went to the shop and they put on new tires! I had a Breather Hose Fuel/PVC replaced a Value Gasket set Premium Plug wire set and Spark Plugs replace to the tune of $926.32. Now sixteen months later I need the same work done again.
