We were in the market for thc-infused lube and saw the perfect product, it was $36 and even had a sticker that said it would be $40 other places in town. We grabbed the lube, asked for a 25 mg limeade, and made our way to the register. We inquired if they had any first time discounts - of course not. It was far from the end of the world, considering they marketed themselves as affordable. We left the store and right as we entered our car learned that we had been given the lemonade instead, no biggie but not ideal. Then we made our way back to Tokyo Starfish. The vibes were immaculate compared to Substance. Here, we bought flower because we could actually see and smell the product, and then we stumbled across the exact same thc lube, for $24. What an absolute tragedy. Overall, the false advertisement, bad customer service, and unappealing display of products will prevent us from returning again. Tokyo Starfish has our business.

Once you buy it, under false pretenses it's one thing (indica) when it's the opposite (sativa), you cannot return it. Ask to see the physical containers label of what you're interested in buying before buying it. Buyer beware. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS COMMENT: This is the product that was purchased. The container clearly says sativa. The box that you have these Sitting in behind the glass window said "I" meaning indica. I am unclear how such a mistake could be made when this clearly says sativa right there on the front. In addition, I called the store once I got home and found out they sold this to me as something else and the entirely and the employee said yes, the label on the bin these sites in said Indica, and not sativa. And now I'm stuck with something I will not smoke. I do not want this crap. I would never buy this. Fix your store, and readdress your return policy. When it's the stores fault, or the employees fault directly like this time, you need to accept returns. This is extremely aggravating.

Their staff has always been friendly and smiling on my visits. The owner said he plans to extend the counter soon and expand their selections. I cant wait to see the growth on my next trip to the area. They are running a 20% off for online orders, they have a great online platform, easy to navigate. It smells great and they have a great selection. Their carts taste like blushes, even some of the prerolls smell just like fruit. The quality of the products is top notch. And their pricing is great. The normal dispensaries I go to back home would have cost me way more and they would have cut me off on what you could purchase. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Zero stars if I could…read more... I have given this place way more chances than they deserve, and I am officially done... Every single time I come in with a card, somehow their system is "not working." Today was the final straw. I placed a pickup order, showed up ready to pay, and multiple cards wouldn't work on their reader. Then their ATM wasn't working either. Instead of actually helping resolve the issue, I was basically told to go somewhere else and get cash. How is that acceptable customer service? This has happened repeatedly, at least 10x. Every time I come in without cash, somehow the card system has an issue. At some point it stops feeling like a technical problem and starts feeling like a business problem or personal issue since I'm paying online for an order and am a consistent customer the store knows. The worst part is the attitude from management, a rude angry middle aged woman. The manager I have dealt with is genuinely one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in a customer service setting. She is dismissive, unhelpful, and makes every interaction uncomfortable. I have never felt so disrespected walking into a dispensary before. Every time I have gone in, the experience with her has been unpleasant, and at this point it honestly feels like I am not welcome there. The one employee who was actually kind and helpful is gone now, and it is very noticeable. Good customer service matters, especially when you have regular customers coming in multiple times a week. On top of the horrible service, the products are not even worth the headache. Their selection is disappointing compared to other dispensaries in the area. The flower quality does not compare, the cartridges they push (especially the ones constantly put on sale) feel like they are just trying to move low-quality products, and overall their inventory is nowhere near the standard of other shops I have been to. The selection does not compare to other dispensaries nearby. The deals and sales do not make up for the fact that the products themselves are noticeably lower quality. It is extremely frustrating because there are employees there who clearly do care. There is one older gentleman who works there who is genuinely kind and always does his best to help customers. He is the only reason I have continued coming back because he actually provides the type of customer service you would expect. Unfortunately, the manager's attitude makes the entire experience miserable. I live in the Three Rivers area, which is the only reason I kept coming back and giving them my business. I wanted to support a convenient local spot, but after today I left on principle. I had money in my account, I was trying to complete a purchase, and instead of making any effort to help a loyal customer, they lost my business completely. Compared to other dispensaries I have visited, this place falls far behind in both product quality and customer service. Extremely disappointed. I will be taking my money elsewhere. I have been a very loyal customer and have come in multiple times a week, but today I walked out because I realized I was continuing to give my money to a place that clearly does not value its customers. It is a shame that in Oregon, where cannabis is legal and there are so many great dispensaries, this place is selling subpar products while providing some of the worst customer service I have experienced.
