When I picked up my uhaul I told them my estimated miles was going to be 25. I ended up doing…read more15ish. Just a local pickup from one house to another house, then back to uhaul. The next day I was charged my estimated amount($85) AND an additional $75 charge as well. When I called and asked about it, they told me I had driven 81 miles, instead of my estimated 25. When I asked them to look back on the previous driver, there was no info for this driver. Long story short, make sure you check the odometer and take pictures of everything before you leave with the uhaul.

It cost my 1st friend 300$ to pay the movers for the day and the movers have to come back the next day and pay them again. Today i have a friend who is moving cross-country, guess what no truck. At least for them they gave them some truck half the size. So all they had to do was throw away half of their stuff. Go to Vestal u-haul if you don't want a truck or really want to throw away all your furniture. If you book through them consider yourself lucky if you actually get a truck!

But Tuesday we ran out of oil @ 8:00 AM. So we swore a little and paid an extra $199 to have a "special delivery" After a full day of freezing, Blue Ox drove 1 mile down East River Road from Weavers Farm Market, where they regularly deliver oil every Tuesday. It was 6:00 PM. The "special delivery" was a 1 mile detour of their route at the end of the day. I feel Blue Ox took advantage of us - I feel that the Blue Ox schedulers don't give a f*ck about customers (Weaver's is 1 mile away and gets oil every Tuesday - how much effort to add our address to the delivery) Blue Ox didn't do anything "special". And that said -- $199 for delivery at 10:00 AM would have been acceptable. Paying $199 for 10 hours of misery is not acceptable. When complaining -- Blue Ox said "All we guarantee is same day delivery." -- I would like to SWEAR at them mightily -- but I need their oil to get through these horrible winters/

I couldn't move the seat up; my son adked the counter person for help and he suggested that my son adjust it because "he was probably stronger than me". After I turned the truck on, the engine light stayed on, both my son and I saw it. when I went yo the office and told the counter person, he came out yo check (the light wasn't on) and asked me "was I sure it was the engine light", as though I couldn't possibly know what it looks like. At heat point, I told him to cancel my reservation, as between the lousy service send extremely poor condition of the truck, I had reconsidered. I would NIT recommend thus location, due to poor service and even worse vehicle conditions.
