It was supposed to be an average night out with the Mrs. but life got in the way and I needed a tow ("wrecker"). My company truck had stalled in front of the Ollie's on Westport Road and I wasn't sure who to call. I called our company equipment representative and he gave me some options of local towing companies that we have used in the past. But after going through the list he said Suburban was the most professional and best he's dealt with in the past. I called Suburban and gave them my location, make and model and waited....... and waited..... To be fair, it was a Saturday evening and I didn't expect someone to show up within 20 minutes. My father drove a tow for years so I know what to expect when a tow is needed on a weekend evening. I ended up waiting quite a while but my night was not boring. I ended up visiting the nearby Ollie's and China Cafe and the evening was somewhat eventful. When the tow truck showed up the drive was very nice and I told him I wasn't sure which dealership to drop off my truck. Our company typically uses one dealership but their lot was closed at this hour (10 PM). The driver was very helpful and recommended a different dealer. One that has a lot open at this hour and they have done good work in the past. We decided to go to the dealership he recommended, although it was out of my way, I was determined to have my truck fixed since I just got it back from another dealership after having the same issue "resolved". The driver was nice enough to give me a ride to the dealership so I could leave instructions with the truck. The driver was very nice and we had a good conversation on the way to the dealership. The cab was clean and well kept. A noteworthy observation for those that ever need to hitch a ride with a tow truck. Although my company ended up paying for the tow this service gave me an opportunity to experience their service if I ever needed one for a personal vehicle. After all.... isn't that what networking is about? If the work they do for my company is great and they offer it to the public, I'll use them for my personal needs. Suburban Towing was very accommodating, professional and I will definitely keep them in mind if I ever need a tow again. Oh, and by the way, their recommendation on a dealership was a great one. I blew a tire on 71 north, went into the trunk and discovered while I had a spare, I did not have a tire jack. Oops. These guys showed up within 30 minutes on a Sunday afternoon, put on my soare and had me on my way, for what I felt was a reasonable price. Thank you! Highly recommended! read more

My complaint isn't so much with the business as it is with a driver. Truck was traveling at high rate of speed and hit a rock and hit my car window. Of coursed it cracked and this company won't fix it. I know accidents happen but if this driver would have stayed on the blacktop at a slower speed limit rate this would not have happened. Now I'm out a lot of money to fix it. Good thing this rock didn't hit a predestrian because results would have been terribly worst than a cracked windshield. read more

Returned home to a car that wouldn't start at the airport last night. Nightmare trip and at 1:30 am car is broken. The driver arrived promptly and the car came back to life. What impressed me the most was that he waited in the airport parking structure for me to get going and than sat outside the toll booth. He waved good bye and that really meant a lot to me. Most people would have jump started the car and disappeared. This is a sign of a good company and a great employee. I wish I had gotten his name but it was late. Highly recommended. read more

A few weeks ago, my alternator & battery died in the middle of a very busy intersection during rush hour traffic in the blazing heat. I immediately started calling tow truck companies around me and Suburban was my 6th phone call. All of the other tow companies said they couldn't get to me for at least an hour and a half and they wouldn't even add me to a list - they all just told me to call back in 45 minutes. Suburban stated that they were busy, also, but I desperately asked if there was anything he could do because no other tow company would help me and I was in a busy intersection with cars and semis going around me, running the red lights, and it was very unsafe. At that moment, I heard the dispatcher call out to one of his drivers and told him to not even get out of his truck and come straight to me because I was in an unsafe situation. The driver made it to me in about thirty-five minutes and I am still ever-so-grateful. They towed me to the auto shop of my choice and I had my car back good as new the next afternoon. I can't even tell you how appreciative I am of this company. Thank you for actually caring about my safety. My heroes! read more

Blew out a front steer tire on a 43 foot diesel RV. The sheriff dept. called in Suburban towing to assist in getting us off the crazy interstate. They are a real class act at reasonable pricing.
