I believe it was Jesse that helped me today...we were both born and raised in Sacramento California. Quite unusual. He was the nicest and most helpful tow truck driver one could imagine. He recharged my battery started my car ran it for 5 minutes then turned it off and it wouldn't restart. Then he towed it to Gooyear and I asked them the cost of a regular battery and an oil change and they wanted $502. I ran and caught him before he unloaded it and he took me to walmart who gave me an amg battery an oil change for$240. Jesse was the most helpful and friendly person. Wow, wow, wow! We called AAA to have our vehicle towed from our home to an auto repair shop because a critter once again chewed a hole in my gasoline line. We had anticipated the usual multi hours wait. No! The estimated time was less than an hour from when we called. Exactly at the time estimated, 12:45 pm, the tow truck was pulling up our driveway. The truck was Jet Towing. This is Louisville's newest AAA service provider. The driver, operator was Todd. He was very personable and efficient. We visited while he loaded our vehicle but he worked right along on the task at hand. Towards the end of loading out car on his flatbed tow truck it started to rain. He assured us that the car was in good hands and encouraged us to go inside to stay dry. I took him up on the suggestion while my husband decided to stay outside the few extra minutes. Minutes later the truck was loaded and on the way to the repair shop. Thanks Todd and Jet Towing for providing such a positive AAA experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. Thursday night 11/7/2024 my son was in an accident and the passenger front wheel was broken and the CV joint and suspension were knocked loose. We called AAA who dispatched Jet towing. The operator showed up and told us he couldn't tow it because of the damage. We told him we would sign a damage waiver. He still refused and left the scene. We called AAA and they told us Jet had no wheel lift trucks or special equipment needed to tow the vehicle until 10 am Friday 11/8. We left a note on the car as instructed by AAA. At 2 am Friday my son got a text that LMPD impounded the vehicle by Suburban towing to their impound lot. I went there today to release the vehicle to our insurance company and was able to talk to one of the operators. They told me they used the wheel lift and scates on the flatbed to tow the car to the impound lot and it was extremely easy. They said there no excuse for the car not to be towed and the other tow company was either incompetent or just didn't want to fool with it. My insurance company had their tow company call Suburban and verified that this was a simple tow and they would be able to get it easily to the collision center Monday with no special equipment. Jet left my son stranded with no help at 1 am and now he is stuck with additional fees due to the car being impounded. Never use this company. Call Suburban or any other reputable company first. Trust me. read more
