3 weeks 6 days. Out the door and a great job lined up. It's specific to each person. If you need more time doing something like 90s then sit on the picnic table and do 90s all day. I said to skip I'm done in the yard I want to drive. Next day I'm with Charles. Every one there had the same goal from the owner to Vern to skip. To get me back working. Over stuffed classes, not enough instructors or equipment. You spend 10 hours and only get 20 minutes of instruction if your lucky. Not enough road worthy trucks to complete training. The instructors they do have are the only bright side they are very good. But with the lack of equipment your 8 week training will take more like 12 weeks. read more

I attended here in 2016, the trainers and staff were excellent. Small school, but I wouldn't like it any larger.

I recently graduated Suburban Truck, what a great experience! I wanted to change my career to driving, with the help and knowledge of Karl, Joe, Smitty & Skip the class and yard maneuvers were explained and taught thoroughly. They made sure to help each of us as individuals, not everyone learns at the same pace. On the road and track Eric, Joe, Jason & Rich taught by detail on shifting and downshifting all the laws and skills on the road. The examiner was also amazing,very professional. The office staff and my counselor Deb made the whole other side of this progress just as low stressed and down to earth. I would highly recommend this training school to anyone that is considering a truck driving career. It's like a family for life with some really GREAT people! read more

I am a recent graduate of Suburban Truck Driving School. Great School knowledgeable staff and good location. The overall experience was very good I learned so much starting at the classroom learning about safety and regulations and moving on to the yard doing pre trip inspections and truck maneuvers and finally driving on the road. I'm a resent graduate of suburban truck driving training. It was the best decision and experience that I could have had or made. On a scale of 1 to 10. I would rate my experience at Suburban as an 11. The recruiters go out of their way to recruit you and find you a job the instructors go out of their way to teach you how to drive and the skills that you need. Everything there is above board and they go beyond and out of their way to teach you. Classroom work, road work and on the training course you learn a lot in a short period of time. I started this school about 2 months ago , and I graduated today . Please understand that I am a fair person, I will make my decisions based on facts and not lies , I am a former police officer and I have always protected the rights of the people. My experience started with making a simple appointment with Debbie from the office . My wife and I decided to spend the next few years driving trucks across United States and making money while enjoying this beautiful country. We met with Debbie (our counselor) and we filled out some paperwork to determine our possibilities. The school has many options , they work with many different companies and try to get you in a program where it will benefit your future. Seriously, if you made your decision to go this route and become a truck driver , there's many possibilities for you . The school will help you determine your best option based on what you want to achieve in life. Debbie had a beautiful attitude and such a positive person , she is very experienced in this industry, I compare her to my mother , someone who cares and fights for your . She will protect you and only when you succeed, that will Be her satisfaction. An amazing woman , god works in everything she does . After meeting Debbie, my wife and I became very excited to start our new venture, but due to financial issues we decided to wait. A couple of weeks later I get a call from Debbie and tells me that something came up and I have a opportunity to start school. I'm thinking to myself " wow , this wonderful lady had kept us in her mind and found a way to help me change my life ". Who does that these days ? I can only speak for my experience, but this woman has personally changed my life , life of my family and my children, and most important, our future . She gave me the opportunity to make a difference in my life and generations to come . In my book , she's an angel . I always help people and I always try to be a good man, but let me tell you , it's hard to find someone these days to sacrifice their life for yours. I'm very thankful. I'm thankful with everyone at suburban trucking school, the staff is very knowledgeable, the instructors have many years of experience and they know how to motivate the students . I heard some bad comments here, but these people are not fair ! They might of had a personal problem with one staff member , but don't need to take it out on everyone. Remember one thing , the instructors have been conducting classes for many years , day in and day out . These individuals are very professional but they have their own life and problems. They are humans like everyone else . They work in the sun , in the rain and in the snow , any harsh conditions they keep on teaching. Also remember that many students come thru this place, bad people , good people and even crazy ones . Believe me, I am a good judge of character, and I met a few students that I wouldn't invite them home for dinner . Listen , the staff is amazing , you will build friendships with these instructors, they will trust you with their life , and I love them for that . Yes I want to be fair , there was days where I didn't see some instructors smile , or maybe some students thought they were too strict, but believe me .. when it comes to driving a 80000 pound vehicle safety, it's a serious business. My experience was wonderful and not only I suggest this school for anyone who wants to get in this business, but I will go out of my way to make a difference. I plan to suggest this business to anyone who is confused about their future . If you dropped out of school, if you don't have a collage degree, if you live paycheck to paycheck, if you don't have a secured place to live , if you want to be independent and make great money, I suggest you contact this school immediately and talk to Debbie or any other counselor .
