I drove off quickly to make room for the person behind me to pull up. The tea was sweet tea. So I turned around, parked the car and went in. I asked the cashier if I could switch it to an unsweetened tea and showed her the receipt. No smile. No, "Gee. I'm sorry we made a mistake" no "Of course. Let me fix that for you" Instead she called to someone, walked away, got the tea for me and told me that she can't take the sweet tea that I put in the counter. I asked her what she wanted me to do with it. No answer. Just turned her back and walked away. If I were an angry person I may just left it there for her to throw away. But I took it to the garbage myself. I've been in the food industry for 30 years. It is 50% the food and 50% service. I understand that help is hard to come by now, but I hope the manager or owner of this store will initiate daily pre shift training for the employees.
