What a great Thai spot. Stopped here with a friend based on Yelp reviews and as usual, it didn't steer me wrong! The good: I ordered drunken noodles and some dumplings. The portions were huge the food was delicious. I ordered a 2.5 spice and it was perfect; making the dish sweet and spicy. The dumplings were also good. The restaurant was clean and spacious and service was friendly. The bad: The music choice was very odd. The decorative theme is all Thai, there was a Thai food network on TV...but there was country music playing. It was bad perse but it did take away from the ambiance a bit. I thought the prices were a bit high until I saw the portion sizes. Worth every penny. 5/5 stars! read more

Amazing food and friendly service. I called in an order for pickup of Pad Woon Sen, and it was ready on time and still hot when I got home. Extremely friendly and polite service and even greeted me in Thai. Strongly recommend to anyone wanting Asian food in the Fort Novosel area. The best chicken larb I've ever had! And I've had a lot of larb! This is my favorite restaurant in the Wiregrass area. The service from Ms. Nikki is fantastic, entertaining, and caring. She and her husband (the chef) obviously take pride in their food. Let me give you a run down of what I've had. Thai style pho - PHOnomenal! Panang Curry - bathe me in it! Massaman Curry - shower me in! Pad Thai - Thai-rrific! Basil Fried Rice - de-damn-licious! Crab Rangoon - delightfully curried! Chicken Larb - never leave me... Everything was fresh, bursting with flavor, spiced exactly like I wanted. The serving size if more than generous...it's huge! There was enough to eat at dinner and enough for lunch the next two days. The chicken was unseasoned plus the vegetables that are listed in the recipe where not the one served so needless to say the flavor was compromise. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the state of Alabama! Everything was seasoned perfectly. It was a great mix of spice, saltiness, and freshness. The ragoons have a slight curry flavor which took me by surprise but in a good way. The larb was phenomenal. It was a generous serving size. In fact, every single dish was large enough to share. The pad thai and the basil fried rice were a giant mound of delicious food. Each bite was just as good as the next. We ordered each dish at a level 4 out of 5 spiciness. It had us sweating a little but that's how I like it. Our service from Ms. Nicky was wonderful. She was pleasant and somewhat entertaining. She has a pride and passion for Thailand and the food. Towards the end of the meal her husband and chef came out and said hi. I enjoyed that. This restaurant feels a little off of the beaten path. It is a journey well worth taking. My husband and I LOVE this place! It's super authentic, consistently delicious, affordable and delicious! We have worked out way up to level 3 spice and it's just the right amount for us! We've gotten the Chicken Pad Thai (delish) and curry crab Rangoon (interesting and different) before and really loved it! This time we got the Massaman Curry (our favorite), steamed dumplings (SO SO SO GOOD) and the Thai Veggie Noodles (yum) and basically went to heaven! Huge fans!! read more

The pad thai is awesome and my favorite on the entire menu. If it's your first time eating there, make sure to ask for "medium spicy" as Hot can make it so spicy you won't even taste the food. I made that mistake once. I like habanero peppers so that would be about the same as "medium spicy" at this restaurant. If Jalapeno peppers is the hottest you'd like, you should ask for the lowest heat, which will still be a little hotter than a jalapeno. There are a lot more menu items, and I enjoyed every meal I've eaten, but I stick with my favorite whenever I go. No reason to change. Average wait from order to food arriving is 15 minutes. read more

This place is probably a 4, and I'll come back and explore the menu. I was not 100% when I went there and I might have missed some of the flavor. I had the Tom yum soup and a green curry. I love Tom Yum. I ordered it a 2, and I think I need to order 1 here. It's supposed to be spicy, but this had me literally sweating. There are definitely days were I want that level of heat. Heck, writing it I'm kind of wanting it right now, but not that day. I'm glad I didn't go 3, or I'd have had a whole in me. The green curry was okay, but I wasn't tasting some of the notes I'm used to getting. That might have been me. I fully intend to go back and try some more. I ordered my Shrimp Pad Thai and Beef lamb for pick-up. Not just for Alabama, but to normal standards, this Thai restaurant is delicious! The lady asked me how spicy I wanted my food 1-5, I said 7. I love my food spicy! Shrimp pad thai- the portion of noodles is generous! Lots! This entree is definitely sharable or saved for later for a second meal. The flavor is delicious and taste like authentic pad Thai. The shrimp is peeled. Squeeze the lime, enjoy. Beef lamb- alrighty, this is for the brave. It's pretty much a cold beef salad flavored with fish sauce, lime, roasted ground rice and fresh herbs and chilli. On the side, there's chopped lettuce. The flavors make a big impact in your mouth, so refreshing yet filling. I'll crave this again for sure! read more

From the sight of the building and location it may look a little sketchy, yet the food here is pretty darn good for Alabama. I believe the owner told me she was from Bangkok & her style of cooking is better than the rest. I didn't believe her at first until I had her Pad see Ew. I love their sauces used on their noodles, i've gotten several different dishes since going here & to be honest I just decided that this place will be my new go-to Thai restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant in the Fort Rucker area! The owner is awesome! She is hilarious and very invested in her business. Their portions are very generous for the price. Lunch is where it's at. Plenty of food, fast service, and the price is right. I always got the Thai fried rice or the pineapple fried rice and my wife usually got pad Thai. It is seriously all good. We did try a couple of other Thai restaurants in the area early on, but this one was the best! Thank you for all the great meals while we were stationed at Rucker! read more

This is by far the best Thai spot in the area! I moved here from California and I LOVE Thai food. I tried a place in Enterprise that was "meh" nothing compared to this place. This place is a hole in the wall, mom and pop shop and it is DELICIOUS!! I ordered chicken drunken noodles spicy #5 and 3 flavor chicken spicy # 5 and let me tell you..I WILL BE BACK! I became a regular quickly after the first visit. Don't let the empty parking lot or the location fool you. When the open sign is illuminated, go inside it will be worth it. The owner is very nice and she makes you feel like family not a customer. The place is clean, relaxing and spacious enough for large group gatherings. The food is really tasty. I've ordered: Pad see ew - drunken noodles are not used here and too much black pepper so I never reordered. Usually it is my favorite dish, wasn't bad but I prefer less of a pepper taste Basil fried rice - by far my favorite here!!! Flavorful and perfectly made every time. 5 spice level is just the right amount Yellow curry - very tasty as well. A tad taste of powder but nothing to discourage a second order. Would have preferred more potatoes and carrots to accompany the curry Pad Thai - pretty good overall. The spice (5) was a little different close to a hot sauce type which threw me off. The best Thai place in the area. We love Thai, as a military family we have tried alot of places and this has been the best tasting one we have tried. At this time with dine in services closed state wide we ordered delivery to support local and tip well. The staff was awesome, delivery was quick with super hot food. This will be a go to place for us. On to the food! We got Pad Thai, cashew nut chicken, side of fried rice and spring rolls. Husband LOVED the Pad Thai and we liked the fact it wasn't a peanut buttery mess but a more traditional sauce. Cashew nut chicken was juicy and we'll cooked, plenty of whole cashews, would order again. Spring rolls were crisp and sauce was super yummy and had a lot of flavor. The kid ate the fried rice, he's picky. Portions are very large. I will say the only thing I cant seem to find here is summer rolls. To be fair other places don't have them either and I'm guessing it's just not a commonly requested thing out here. Overall 10/10 would recommend and cant wait to dine in some day and try the curry. read more

I could almost cry tears of happiness that I've finally found a Thai restaurant in the southeast that is worth getting food from. Ordered: - Pad See Ew Beef - Pad Thai Shrimp - Tom Yum Goong The Pros (there were many): - Noodles were nice and chewy, not overcooked - Flavor was on point (commonly have Thai food that is overly sweet in the south and it's a big bummer; this was not the case here) - The tomatoes in the Tom yum were *literally* bursting with flavor. One of my friends mentioned that the owner has a garden that they source some of the vegetables/herbs from. I believe it. - Spice levels were in line with what I expect at a Thai restaurant (I.e., I will never order a "5" even though I put hot sauce on all my food. 3 is a good level for if I don't mind a bit of sniffling) - Circling back to the Tom yum, it was appropriately sour (and not too sweet). I was literally pausing and closing my eyes in enjoyment as I was drinking the broth The Cons: - IMO, there was too much white pepper in the pad see ew. This is totally personal preference, but I hate the taste of white pepper in excess lol - Beef was a bit dry/tough. Completely underrated restaurant!! The pad Thai is the best in town. The pad se ew is delicious. And the fried rice is out of this world. The spice is spicy, and authentic!!! Left overs are even better the next day, but honestly if they last that long. Nicki and her husband own the restaurant and do everything themselves with one other employee. The service is quick. Today I searched on Yelp for a new Thai place and I am absolutely thrilled that I decided on this spot. Thailand Restaurant was off the main road and in an area I've never been before, the outside looked clean but in an odd location in my opinion. Doesn't matter though... I walked in the doors and was pleasantly greeted by the waitress and she was very friendly and chatted to me about Thai food. I took my Spicy level 2 Pork Pad Thai to go and currently eating it and writing this review. I just have to say this is one of the best pad thai dishes I've had and I've been to several thai restaurants. The spice level is on point and the flavors are excellent, very well balanced. They make you feel more like family than customers. she was also very attentive to our needs throughout the meal, prompt refills etc. The food is fantastic. I'm very picky about Asian food, food in general, and this place impressed me. The pad Thai is tasty and leaves you wanting more. the pho combo, whilst the soup flavor itself isn't the Vietnamese Pho taste, it was phenomenal!!!! I drank and ate everything!! This is the ONLY Thai restaurant to go to in the Fort Rucker area! We almost turned into Thai Siam....not this one honey. Turn down Donnell Blvd. About a mile down. They are easily mistakeable. The owner Nicki was so friendly and very accomodating. She does all of the cooking. The waiter we had, Tallas was extremely nice too. If I were stationed here...they would get invited over for Sunday dinner! Family atmosphere was greatly appreciated. Me and my friends ordered an array of foods..the gluton was ON TONITE! Everything was awesome. Flavor was on point. 3 weeks left here...I'm absolutley coming back. We ended up advertising the restaurant the whole way back to lodging..the gate guard..strangers in the elevator..lol.
