Food was excellent. Husband had chicken tacos and I had the lunch special of enchiladas. Holy smokes they fed us a ton of food. Chips and salsa was delicious, Caldo they brought was delicious! Quart size jar of tea was perfect! They even gave us each a complimentary MARGARITA! It was an amazing experience and fantastic lunch. Mexican music was very loud!

That said, and after being on the road for countless hours at that point, I actually expected it and didn't mind. This McDonald's was busy with the drive-thru that is on the left hand side of the Love's Travel Stop. The staff was so nice and even had jokes to spare despite the inflow of travelers. They were all smiles and professionals, which really made the difference for me after so much time on the road. I really appreciated that. If you order a drink, they will hand it to you instead of you going to the soda fountains, but make sure you request it. I personally prefer them handing me the clean cup. Also, straws and napkins are in sealed plastic. The restaurant itself wasn't as clean as it could have been. The tables needed a good wipe down. Otherwise, there wasn't any real debris left out. The food was also kind of rubbery, but I'll be honest and say I didn't care much about taste so much as sustenance at that point. I just needed to eat while I looked forward to another eight hours on the road. So if you're looking for something fast, this is perfect. If you have super high standards, I would normally say go for something else, but in this mindset, I think if you're traveling, get over your high standards and just grab the food. I've been to far worse, and this was actually okay.
