I feel sorry for the franchise owner. These kids do not care. Flies everywhere, inside the meat and veggie cases and they made zero effort in preventing flies from crawling over everything. Zero sense of urgency. Glacial pace regardless of the task and assuredly multitasking would be unheard of. As I watched the girl make my sandwich, as she flippantly gossiped with her coworker, she put triple meat on my sandwich that I didn't want, didn't pay for and threw out once getting home. Subway can be very consistent - or not. This Subway on Donlan St., Blythe has the same menu and quality as the others I have been in. BUT, its best attribute is the easy on and easy off to the I10. We always eat here for lunch and restroom (which is currently being remodeled) break when travelling to Arizona. The on ramp is literally across the street. Plus there is a gas station next door. All super convenient! Be aware there are 2 different crews working the sandwich bar. One time we had an extremely effective and efficient, and on another visit a different team was disorientated, slow and ill prepared. If you get the good crew, this is a great stop for a boring trip. read more

This Subway is a good find for trip peeps. I often see see these along the highway in a truck stop or gas stations, but this is a stand alone facility and it's cleeeeeeaaaaaannnn! The gal that made our salad took her time and really chopped the veggies well. Then a male employee came over to assist other customers and saw me yelping and he told me I couldn't have the free drink. That was so incredibly nice. This one gets a thumbs up from me! read more

I've been to many Subway establishments throughout the state and this one has the rudest employees I've ever dealt with. Not to mention the lobby was not very clean. The Womens bathroom had an out of order sign posted but the employees acted if they knew nothing about it. The sandwich maker was sloppy and used some of the worst lettuce I've seen in a long time. The cashier lacked any form of customer service tact and made you feel like you would never want to return!! I asked for a sandwich with white bread and various filings which included tomatoes and spinach. The sandwich maker grabs wheat bread. I didn't make a fuss because maybe she misheard me. But next customer after me asks for white bread and she says they are out. Odd she didnt tell me that. When she asks me what other items I want inside I notice she skipped tomatoes. I asked why and she says they are out. I told her it's okay to be out of things but you should inform the customer standing directly in front of you when you are out of things. She proceeded to make the sandwich leaning her shirt over into the sandwich touching all the ingredients. Spinach didn't look fresh nor did the olives which is hard to mess up. Not great. Food seemed pretty much the normal Subway quality, but the ice machine didn't work, tables not cleaned, women's bathroom messy and seat cover dispensers empty. One stall of the two in the men's was out of order. I'll skip this place on future trips from AZ to CA. read more

My family and I decided to stop here for a quick bite after traveling from Anaheim to Phoenix. Let's just say that it was a disappointing. The restrooms were fifthly. The bread was very dry. The tomatoes were soggy. The drinks were way too flat. I thought it was just the Coke so I decided to try the Sprite and Dr. Pepper and they were all the same. No carbonation at all! Since the machine appeared to be not working, I grabbed my daughter's cup which already had lemonade in it and I took a sip and it was watered down. It was gross! Diet Coke - Service was rough here compared to a lot of subways. Pop seemed off, slow. I guess they assume that many of their customers only drop by once on the way to somewhere, but us Arizonans take that freeway anytime we head to LA. You end up picking certain places you stop at time and again, and others you avoid. Might give this one more try sometime. After experiencing the nightmarish conditions at the Subway in the Love's in Quartzsite on our trip out to California, we decided to try a different location on the way back home. Kid friendly and healthier options than McD's. So glad we did!! This stand-alone location was a nice surprise. Friendly employees, and super CLEAN! There was a woman who was constantly cleaning (and sanitizing) the tables and bathrooms while we were there. Super smart to have at a location off a busy highway. I don't know how this place has such good reviews. Went around 5:30pm on our way back from California. The service was friendly and the food was fine for the most part (kids toasted cheese sandwich was burnt but other than that fine) but the place was filthy. Tables and floor were a mess. They were out of almost all the cookies and ice tea. Women's bathroom had water (presumably toilet water) all over the floor and no changing table. Also, they were out of paper towels. They have a hand blower that was dirty and had hair in it. Husband says the men's bathroom was dirty also. Same thing with no paper towels and dirty hand blower. Kinda gross. read more
